JOURNALISTS AGREE THAT THEIR FELLOW DEMOCRATS HAVE DESTROYED THE NEWS MEDIA’S CREDIBILITY

mascot new look donkey and elephant headsEvery former Democrat like me who has chosen to #WALKAWAY always experiences deja vu when they see others finally noticing and objecting to the way Democrats have become so unhinged that they’ve turned every aspect of life into a political battlefield. And they want everyone who disagrees with them destroyed, personally and professionally.

Various hardcore anti-Trump reporters have shown integrity by objecting to the crazed, rabid propaganda that their colleagues have been churning out, especially following the riots over George Floyd’s death. The police behavior involved in that death was so blatantly out of line that for a few brief moments the nation was united in sadness and outrage.

Pelosi and Schumer and Kente clothA nation united is something that Democrats can not stand to see, and even though the Minneapolis officers involved were quickly fired and/or facing charges the Democrats and their media outlets rapidly transformed the situation into hate-filled riots and looting that raged for days.

The Tom Cotton op-ed at the New York Times and what followed erupted into what some journalists have called “civil wars” in newsrooms across the country between rational reporters and their unhinged colleagues. Links are below, but first some excerpts from journalists whose anti-Trump credentials cannot be questioned.

First up, female journalist Bari Weiss:

Bari Weiss

@bariweiss

The civil war inside The New York Times between the (mostly young) wokes the (mostly 40+) liberals is the same one raging inside other publications and companies across the country. The dynamic is always the same. (Thread.)

The Old Guard lives by a set of principles we can broadly call civil libertarianism. They assumed they shared that worldview with the young people they hired who called themselves liberals and progressives. But it was an incorrect assumption.

The New Guard has a different worldview, one articulated best by @JonHaidt and @glukianoff. They call it “safetyism,” in which the right of people to feel emotionally and psychologically safe trumps what were previously considered core liberal values, like free speech … there are dozens and dozens of examples.

I’ve been mocked by many people over the past few years for writing about the campus culture wars. They told me it was a sideshow. But this was always why it mattered: The people who graduated from those campuses would rise to power inside key institutions and transform them. (NOTE FROM BALLADEER: LINK TO MY PIECES ABOUT THAT SITUATION HERE )

I’m in no way surprised by what has now exploded into public view. In a way, it’s oddly comforting: I feel less alone and less crazy trying to explain the dynamic to people. What I am shocked by is the speed. I thought it would take a few years, not a few weeks.

Next up is Michael Tracey:

@mtracey

The NYT and other media institutions are being held hostage by millennials whose belief system includes such precepts as, “Publishing something I disagree with physically endangers me.” They use bizarre emotional manipulation tactics to assert their dominance. And they’re winning.

EVEN THIS WELL-KNOWN TRUMP-HATER HAS NOTICED THAT POLICE BRUTALITY IS THE WORST IN DEMOCRAT-RUN CITIES

Democrats KKKEven Shaun King, whose hatred of de facto Third Party President Donald Trump is well-known, has noticed that – like in Minneapolis – it’s always Democrat-run areas which have the worst examples of police misconduct and brutality. WE NEED THIRD PARTIES!

Democrat politicians kept the officer in the George Floyd tragedy instated despite his past behavior. And as always Democrats blame the rest of us and tell us to hang our heads in shame for THEIR atrocities.

Anyway, Shaun King joined the growing chorus of voices pointing out that the Democrats are lying when they claim that voting for them is the key to everything.

Go all the way, Shaun, and join those of us who chose to #WALKAWAY and become Independent Voters. Anyway, below is what Shaun had to say on social media to the “Just vote Democrat” fascists:

Shaun King

@shaunking

STOP generically telling us to VOTE in response to all of the police brutality we have right now.

Yes we should vote. But we have to be VERY specific.

Democrats, from top to bottom, are running the cities with the worst police brutality in America right now.

We voted for them.

BRANDON STRAKA AND #WALKAWAY MARK TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Brandon StrakaIt’s been two years since openly gay Brandon Straka launched #WALKAWAY for all of us former Democrats who have grown disgusted with the party’s increasing fascism, intolerance and violence. The #WALKAWAY YT channel is still the site to check out for testimonials from so many of us about why we left the Democrats to become Independent Voters.

#WalkAwayEspecially nauseating is the way Democrats always blame their failures on the nation as a whole. Recently we were all appalled by the actions of a Minnesota policeman whose Union donates heavily to Democrat politicians. As in the same Democrat politicians who kept the officer instated despite his past history of behavior. But hey, the Democrats and their media outlets are pushing the blame on to the nation as a whole. WE NEED THIRD PARTIES.

And now Democrats in Minneapolis and other locales are absurdly pushing to defund and dismantle their police departments to replace them with British-style “common cause” political police who will react to incidents based on the intersectional pyramid instead of the law. What could go wrong?

riot cartoonWell, plenty, but when it DOES you can bet Democrats will blame it on the rest of us and call for even more power to be concentrated in their hands. Or else we’ll be victimized by more rioting. And so it goes.

The past several days have provided plenty of more reasons to leave the Democrat Party with its Antifa (KLAN-tifa) thugs and its callous attitude toward the victims of rioting and looting. (To Democrats ONLY the rioters and looters deserve financial and moral support.)

VICTIMS OF THE RIOTERS SPEAK OUT

Antifa scumGeorge Floyd’s own family members have called for the rioting to stop, and if you’re one of the leftist demagogues coyly pretending you don’t understand the difference between protests and riots, you’re either lying or an imbecile. Yes, George Floyd was wronged, but the perpetrators are facing punishment. Pathetic worms like the privileged white children of Antifa (KLAN-tifa) are hiding behind George Floyd’s name to inflict this pitiless series of Kristallnachts on the U.S.

looting cartoonHundreds of thousands of innocent people are having their lives and futures destroyed and are being made to suffer so that Democrats can enact political theater across the country.

And by the way, for you drama queens pretending to be outraged about Trump’s National Guard comments, even ANTI-TRUMP REPORTER MICHAEL TRACEY POINTED OUT TO YOU HYPOCRITES THAT OBAMA OFTEN CONDEMNED RIOTERS AND SUPPORTED DEPLOYING THE NATIONAL GUARD.

Michael Tracey

@mtracey

“Did people forget that Barack Obama condemned rioters and supported the deployment of National Guard to quell civil unrest on multiple occasions? Was that “fascism” or “martial law” …? “

But hey, why let facts interfere with your orgy of violence and looting and political posturing? Here are just a few of the victims being ignored by the callous, the comfortable and the uncaring who do nothing but virtue signal –

And more victims speaking out. But I don’t see celebrity vermin pledging money to help THEM out.

MUST WATCH TV: If you’re still unclear what impact the rioting and violence is having on the most vulnerable among us, please listen to Stephanie, a disabled Minneapolis woman who offers her heart-wrenching experience after last night’s violence. Great work by ⁦@BenryNews

DEMOCRAT ATROCITY ROUNDUP: JUNE 2nd

#WalkAwayIt’s time for another installment of Democrat Atrocity Roundup. If you need to ask what their latest atrocities have involved then you haven’t been paying attention the past several days. STOP THE HATE. STOP THE DIVISIVENESS. STOP THE LIES. #WALKAWAY now.

Remember, NONE of us can help what color skin we were born with or the country where we were born, but we sure as hell CAN choose to #WALKAWAY from the party of non-stop hatred and violence to become Independent Voters.

fascists will call themselves anti-fascistsEspecially disgusting is the way that Democrats self-righteously pretend that victims of the riots MUST treat the rioters who destroyed their homes or places of business with the same reverence accorded to the dead victim whose name the rioters use as an excuse for their ravages.

The biggest regret of my life is that I used to belong to that party of political robots and hate-filled demagogues.

The Democrats, their media outlets and their privileged white worms called Antifa (really KLAN-tifa) distorted actual protests, turning them into riots. Continue reading

PUCK: ROBBER BARONS THEN AND SILICON VALLEY ROBBER BARONS NOW

TECHNOFASCISTS LIKE JACK DORSEY AT TWITTER ARE GARBAGE.

puck cartoon robber barons tying up uncle samPuck magazine (1871-1918), the well-known political humor magazine, was at its height under original founder and creative director cartoonist Joseph Keppler. Here is a February 23rd, 1881 Keppler political cartoon depicting Jay Gould, the telegraph monopolist, and Cornelius Vanderbilt the railroad baron.

The point of the cartoon is the way those two Robber Barons – allied with like-minded newspaper tycoons (whose newspapers’ names are on the bonds around Uncle Sam) – abused their wealth and political influence to bind the United States (represented here by Uncle Sam) to their will.

Joseph Keppler was outraged at the power so unethically wielded by such figures to cloak themselves in righteous, philanthropic public images while in reality they – in Keppler’s words – clutched “the United States and all its institutions by the throat.”

Creepy LineThis is similar to the way the Silicon Valley and Social Media Robber Barons of today cloak themselves in “socially conscious” public images while in reality clutching the United States and all its institutions by the throat.

The Robber Barons criticized by Puck magazine exerted their ugly influence on behalf of right-wing politicians. The Robber Barons of the 21st Century tend to exert their ugly influence on behalf of left-wing politicians. The end results are equally totalitarian. Continue reading

RECENT PROOF OF VOTE FRAUD, INCLUDING VOTE-BY-MAIL FRAUD

democrat republican awakeEvery so often it’s important to emphasize all the real-life instances of vote fraud since Democrats and their media outlets love to pretend there are no instances of it. Rest assured that no matter how many times a year such stories are emphasized the Democrats and their outlets will go on insisting it doesn’t happen and claiming there’s no proof. They’re like children who put their hands over their ears and say “I can’t hear you! La! La! La! La! La!”

I’m an Independent Voter who would love to see both the Democrat and Republican Parties collapse, so since I’m impartial about it overseas readers often ask me why virtually all the vote fraud scandals wind up being committed by Democrats.

My answer is always this: presumably the Republicans would LOVE to be able to cheat as much as the Democrats do, but the clueless buffoons who run the Republican Party have fallen far behind the Democrats in terms of media outlets. That means the Republicans would be exposed and be the lead story for weeks.

#WalkAwayDemocrats know that no matter how many times they get caught over and over again the Republicans have so comparatively few media outlets that they (Democrats) can get away with just blithely pretending there’s no evidence of vote fraud. To summarize, it’s not that Republican political operatives are too honest to do it, it’s that they know they can’t get away with it without being THOROUGHLY exposed. And they have.

Yes, it’s their own fault for falling so far behind in the media arms race, but there it is.

At any rate, here are just a few recent instances of vote fraud.

JOE BIDEN IS CALLED UPON TO APOLOGIZE “TO EVERY BLACK PERSON HE MEETS”

Trump and Robert JohnsonRobert Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television and the RLJ Companies, joined the chorus of African-American voices condemning Democrat Joe Biden for his blatant public expression of the Democrats’ view that they “own” the black vote as surely as they owned black people on their plantations.

Biden, already under siege for his and his family’s international corruption PLUS sexual assault allegations, said “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” He stated this on The Breakfast Club radio show.

Biden racistNote also that Biden condescendingly used the word “ain’t” the way so many Democrats do when talking to voters of color, as if it will endear them to those voters. Joe Biden’s career has been marked by draconian legal measures against African-Americans, sometimes in conjunction with the disgraced Hillary Clinton, who called African-American males “super-predators.”

Robert Johnson weighed in on social media by saying “VP Biden’s statement today represents the arrogant and out-of-touch attitude of a paternalistic white candidate who has the audacity to tell Black people, the descendants of slaves that they are not Black unless they vote for him. This proves unequivocally that the Democratic nominee believes that Black people owe him their vote without question; even though we as Black people know it is exactly the opposite. He should spend the rest of his campaign apologizing to every Black person he meets.”

Trump black supporters even moreTo help clarify all this for overseas readers and put such sentiments in their historical context:

In the final third of the 20th Century the speakers and money people of the Democrat Party began developing a very proprietary, some would say condescending, attitude toward African-Americans. The 1960s generation of American Democrats in particular had often treated the lives and history of African-Americans as a kind of hobby.

Black Voices for Trump picThese patronizing dilettantes originally demonstrated a protective, or at least supportive, attitude toward African-Americans, who in turn rewarded the Democrat Party’s candidates with almost unanimous support.

However, as the decades wore on and African-Americans had greater opportunities open up to them many of them began making up their own minds about what political attitudes they would embrace and what political candidates they would support. This did not sit well with the white Democrat power brokers.

Black Voices for Trump againA large portion of the Democrats’ power structure rested on the myth that all African-Americans were still Democrats. The mere existence of increasing numbers of African-Americans choosing their own political affiliation was a massive threat to the Democrats’ decades-old propaganda advantages: their false claim that they and they alone represented the wishes of all minority groups and their incessant accusations of racism aimed at all dissenting voices.

The whitebread Democrat leadership and the African-American demagogues (think Al Sharpton) they used as alleged spokespeople for “all African-Americans” began a campaign of harassment against any African-Americans who declared their political independence from the oppression and condescension of the Democrat Party. SATANIC PANIC 2: ANTI-TRUMP HYSTERIA

mascot new look donkey and elephant headsBalladeer’s Blog previously examined the thoroughly bizarre suspicions regarding two terrible U.S. Presidents – Barack Obama and George W Bush. Yes, I always made it clear that I despised them both but I also did blog posts about the ridiculously overstated accusations made against them. Examples include Obama supposedly being “a Muslim sleeper agent” and George W Bush supposedly having a hand in the death of John F Kennedy Jr.

When it comes to de facto Third Party President Donald Trump, his gibbering detractors have set the record for behaving like slobbering psychopaths who will make contradictory accusations against him on a daily basis. Even more pathetically, anti-Trump loons suffer from so much impotent outrage that they even encourage and enact violence against Trump supporters

Obama kids in cagesTrump and his supporters are often called Nazis by cowardly hypocrites who would wet their pants in terror if they ever encountered REAL Nazis. The nauseating anti-Trumpers even pretended to care about “kids in cages” until they learned that Obama and Bush pursued that policy before Trump came along.

Donald Trump never called racist till running against DemocratsEven the pro-Obama clowns at Snopes admit Obama incredibly erred by turning over illegal immigrant children to CHILD TRAFFICKERS! Links below.

I’ve always made it clear that I’m not saying ALL people who oppose President Trump are hate-filled, frothing-at-the-mouth fascists.  There ARE people who are capable of simply stating why they can’t stand the Donald and disagree with his policies. You know … like adults.

POLEIS (CITIES): ANCIENT GREEK COMEDY

Balladeer’s Blog resumes its examination of ancient Greek comedies.

classical greecePOLEIS – In this post I’m looking at Poleis (Cities), written by Eupolis, one of the Big Three of Ancient Greek Comedy along with Aristophanes and Cratinus. This satirical comedy is dated from approximately 422 B.C. to 419 B.C.  Like so many other such comedies it has survived only in fragmentary form.

The title refers to the all-important Chorus in ancient Greek comedies. In this case the chorus consisted of actors costumed to represent some of the city-states which were under the influence of Athens at the time.

masc chair and bottleAs for how people can be “costumed” as cities, picture how it would be done with American cities. The chorus member representing New York might be depicted as the Statue of Liberty, Saint Louis as the Arch, Pittsburgh as a steel worker, Los Angeles as a brain-dead movie star and so on.

Part of the political satire dealt with the love-hate relationship that many subject- states had with Athens. Being the combination Paris/ Tokyo/ New York City of its time, Athens had a lot to offer its allied polities, but a certain air of tension always existed because of what some of those locations felt were Athens’ high-handed ways of dealing with them.

Eupolis depicted the personified subject-states/ allied states as workers with a not altogether beloved “boss,” Athens. Continue reading
