A NEW YEAR’S EVE BAD MOVIE PAGE UPDATE

Just a quick note to point out the fact that I’ve updated my bad movie page with a review of the comically bad 1980’s holiday-themed slasher flick New Year’s Evil. Here is the link: https://glitternight.com/bad-movies/

“JENN WHO?”: MY FAKE Q AND A WITH THE INCREDIBLY FAKE BRETT FAVRE

Bret Favre crying while failing to comprehend why he's become such an object of contempt

Well, “The Ollllllll’ Interception Machine” Brett Favre’s lack of cooperation with the NFL’s investigation of the Jenn Sterger matter has resulted in a whopping $50,000 fine for the increasingly repulsive- and increasingly infirm-looking –   quarterback. You just know somewhere Ben Roethlisberger must be kicking himself for not thinking of just stonewalling the investigation into the accusations against himself from Continue reading

This incredibly cute fellow with mad hoops skills is Gaius Baltar, the child of Elizabeth Frankel Kost and Sean Vandamme (Which he says is correctly pronounced van- dame, as in “There’s nothin’ like a Vandamme”). Elizabeth chronicles Gaius’ life and antics at her blog, http://untrainabledachshund.blogspot.com/   where she also frequently posts pictures of “foster-dogs” that she and Sean care for until a home can be found for them, so if you’re ever looking for a pooch that needs love, just click the link to her blog.  Since Gaius’ uncles Oolong and Pekoe recently did a guest turn on Balladeer’s Blog in which they Continue reading

THE FIGHTING SAINTS DEFEAT THE WARHAWKS IN BALLADEER’S BOWL

In keeping with the rivalry between NAIA football teams and NCAA Division 3 football teams this week I ran a contest in which readers could e-mail me to vote for who they thought would win a game played between the NAIA champions, the CC Fighting Saints and the D3 champions, the Whitewater Warhawks. By a nearly two-to- one margin the NAIA fans have spoken and the Fighting Saints have won this inaugural Balladeer’s Bowl. Congratulations to the boys from Helena, MT! Balladeer’s Blog will resume chronicling the football rivalry between these two divisions in August.
