CROW INDIAN TRIBE ENDORSES TRUMP AS DO EVEN MORE CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS AND DEMOCRATS

Alvin Not Afraid JrWhile Joe Biden hides in his bunker from the Biden Family Corruption Scandal, Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog notes that yet ANOTHER Native American Tribe has endorsed de facto Third Party President Donald Trump. In the endorsement, Alvin Not Afraid, Jr (the best name imaginable) called attention to President Trump’s policy of letting the tribe assign and grant permits on THEIR OWN mineral rights, unlike so many previous administrations. (link below)

As Chairman Not Afraid, Jr explained, the “Trump administration has helped the Crow Tribe in amending the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance” to bring that about.

“Today I stand before you to endorse, as well as support, President Trump, Vice President Pence,” Not Afraid, Jr. said.

Maurice DavisMeanwhile, Martin Luther King Person of Courage Maurice Davis, the Democrat VP of the Flint City Council announced he is crossing party lines to support President Trump:

“Let me tell you something, the Democrats are full of hate. I have been a democrat all my life, 64 years. The last four years I voted for Hillary Clinton. This year I decided to go with President Trump. I am not a bootlicker, I am not an Uncle Tom.”

Earlier he had addressed the Democrat riots across the country: “Riots, they ain’t no damn protest, they’re riots … tearing up your own neighborhoods … ‘We hate Donald Trump’ … but yet, we didn’t hate the $1,200 he sent us,” Davis said on a Facebook video.

rev william owensCIVIL RIGHTS LEADER REV WILLIAM OWENS also mentioned his support for Trump, praising the president’s policies which have helped communities of color.

“President Trump did something that few other politicians do,” Owens said. “He sought out the opinion of a variety of African American leaders and he listened to what we had to say. Then he supported policies and programs that have real potential to help Black families.”

Owens continued: “What’s more, his new Platinum plan looks to invest millions in Black businesses and communities,” the civil rights leader observed. “This is a president who believes in giving a hand-up, not a hand-out in order to help our community thrive.”

“While Mr. Biden and the Democrats continue to take the Black vote for granted, offering nothing more than empty promises and more government dependency, President Trump is offering hope and a real plan to help African Americans,” Owens continued.

“Four years ago, President Trump asked us to give him a chance and we gave him one,” he said. “What he did with that chance shows that he deserves another four years in office. This year, President Trump has my vote.” Continue reading

THE MAGICIAN (1908) – HALLOWEEN READING

magician-by-somerset-maughamTHE MAGICIAN – During Halloween Season a few years back Balladeer’s Blog reviewed the 1926 silent movie adaptation of The Magician. This time around I’ll review the original Somerset Maugham novel from 1908. It’s no secret at this late date that the malevolent sorceror of the title, Oliver Haddo, was based on the real-life Aleister Crowley. In fact, Crowley would accuse Maugham of plagiarism when he reviewed The Magician under the name Oliver Haddo, his fictional counterpart.

At any rate the 1926 film is an under-appreciated classic of the Silent Era and the novel is of an even higher quality. In Paris – where Maugham first met Crowley in real life – Dr Arthur Burdon, a prominent young British surgeon, has come to visit his fiancee, artist Margaret Dauncey.

Burdon also visits his elderly former mentor, Dr Porhoet, who has turned from medicine to the study of Magick and the occult arts. It is through Porhoet that Dr Burdon and Margaret – plus Margaret’s friend Susie Boyd – first encounter the elegant yet repellant Oliver Haddo. The cadre of friends make the mistake of ridiculing the boastful Haddo’s claims of being a sorceror in the young 20th Century. Continue reading

WEREWOLVES OF DETROIT

Mascot FOUR original pics

Balladeer’s Blog

Balladeer’s Blog’s month-long celebration of Halloween continues with this look at two neglected werewolf legends from Detroit.

werewolf-of-detroitI. Jacques Morand – Roughly 300 years ago Jacques Morand was in love with Genevieve Parent. Unfortunately for him Genevieve decided to join a convent. When Morand could not change her mind through pleading he turned to threats, which drew warnings from Genevieve’s father and brothers.

In desperation Jacques sold his soul through one of the White Witches of the Woods. In return he gained the unholy power to turn himself into a werewolf after dark. After preying on Genevieve’s father one night he followed that up the next by picking off one of her brothers. Continue reading

TRUMP BRINGS MIDEAST PEACE MEASURES AND THE BIGGEST MANUFACTURING BOOM SINCE THE 70s – DEMOCRATS BRING WAR TO PHILADELPHIA

Trump smilingIndependent voter site Balladeer’s Blog couldn’t help but note that while the Democrats’ war on the rest of us has now spread to Philadelphia, de facto Third Party President Trump has added even more accomplishments. Peace between Sudan and Israel plus presiding over the greatest U.S. manufacturing boom since the 1970s. (links below)

The working class and the poor have many reasons to embrace Trump while the pompous, snobbish, pretentious and emotionally unstable fascists who oppose him have proven that their hatred of President Trump is really hatred of the rest of us.

Stop Democrat ViolenceProving they have no intention of regaining their sanity anytime soon, Democrats like Senator Chris Coons have begun calling for harassment of hundreds of lower court Justices who don’t obey Democrat Party dogma. (link below)

THE DEMOCRATS ARE NOT WHAT THEY WERE LONG AGO. JOIN SO MANY OF US AND #WALKAWAY FROM THAT PARTY OF VIOLENCE AND HATRED TO BECOME INDEPENDENT VOTERS. Continue reading

FIVE SCARY BUT NOT GORY HORROR FILMS

Here at Balladeer’s Blog I often hear from people who like scary movies for Halloween but who really don’t like blood-soaked or sexually explicit films. Since I review a LOT of extreme horror movies here’s some equal time for people who want chills but not graphic violence.

Crowhaven FarmCROWHAVEN FARM (1970) – Do you like ghosts and witches? Do you enjoy slow burn horror like Rosemary’s Baby? Give Crowhaven Farm a viewing or two. It’s perfect for a viewing party after the trick or treaters are done for the night. And at just 74 minutes what do you have to lose?

Hope Lange and Paul Burke portray a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. When they inherit the title farm they decide to give their relationship one last try by relocating there. John “He’s probably even in the Zapruder Film if you look hard enough” Carradine portrays a creepy handyman, Lloyd Bochner tags along for some Lloyd Bochnering and William “Big Bill” Smith shows up as a policeman.

VampireVAMPIRE (1979) – Incredibly underappreciated horror film that concentrates on atmosphere and eeriness rather than in-your-face antics. Cult actor Richard Lynch stars as the title menace, Prince Anton Voytek. When the undead bloodsucker’s tomb is disturbed by construction for a new church (talk about adding insult to injury), the vampire subjects the city to a reign of terror.

Jason The Exorcist Miller plays the new church’s architect and E.G. Marshall portrays an elderly cop who helps Miller in his struggle against Voytek. Kathryn Harrold, Jessica Walter and a very subdued Joe Spinell also star. Part Martin, part Grave of the Vampire, this flick is an excellent showcase for Richard Lynch’s villainous charisma and very odd looks. (Not being cruel, just making an observation.) If you watch only one movie on this list, make it this one.    Continue reading

MORE BLACK VOTERS PASSIONATELY DEFENDING PRESIDENT TRUMP – AS DOES A 36 YEAR DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN

Trump, Rosa Parks and AliBalladeer’s Blog has featured countless Martin Luther King People of Courage supporting de facto Third Party President Donald Trump and defending him from the lies of Democrat media outlets. Here are two more videos.

This first video features one courageous black man’s YT video making sure that the pro-Trump points argued by another black voter’s YT video are accurate – and they are. Very inspiring.

And this second video features another longtime Democrat supporting Trump. (My family was Democrat for decades until Trump came along and helped the working class and the poor. We support Trump and I’m an Independent Voter now.)  The Democrat for Trump in this video was a New York politician for 36 years, but like me he acknowledges the reality of Trump’s successful presidency.

Dov Hikind

@HikindDov
I’m a lifelong Democrat. President @realDonaldTrump didn’t get my vote in 2016. He most certainly is in 2020. And I know many others like me. There are two simple reasons why. Click link below (LINK FIXED**)

GHOST RIDER: THE MOST HALLOWEENISH COVERS

Halloween Month hurls toward its conclusion with another seasonal post. The Marvel Comics juggernaut is THE power in pop culture these days so here is another look at one of their horror characters from their 1970s heyday.

spotlight 5MARVEL SPOTLIGHT Vol 1 #5 (August 1972)

Title: Ghost Rider

Villain: Satan

Comment: Ah, the sweet simplicity of the original Ghost Rider stories! Daredevil biker Johnny Blaze makes a deal with the devil: Johnny’s soul in exchange for Satan curing the cancer in the body of Blaze’s mentor “Crash” Simpson.

We all know how deals with the devil go, and Satan cures Simpson’s cancer but the aging daredevil motorcyclist dies in an accident during his next show. When Satan comes to claim Johnny’s soul, Blaze’s true love Roxanne Simpson (Crash’s daughter) interferes and negates the infernal contract.

The stymied devil can’t take Johnny to Hell but can inflict a kind of “Hell in nightly installments” on him by cursing him to become a monstrous fiery-skulled figure every night from then on.

NOTE: Convoluted additions about soul-reaping or about Johnny’s Ghost Rider form really being a specific demon named Zarathos, or past Ghost Riders did not come along til years later. The first Ghost Rider movie should have kept it simple like this and started adding the complications beginning with the second film. Continue reading

POLITICAL CARTOONS: OCTOBER 23rd

democrat republican or awakeWith 74% of the WGN (Chicago) viewers saying Trump won the debate and with the latest explosive witness account of Joe Biden/ Hunter Biden corruption it was NOT a good night for Senile Joe and his Underboss son.

AND AS HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN BIDEN IS LYING WHEN HE CLAIMS NOBODY LOST THEIR INSURANCE BECAUSE OF OBAMACARE. PEOPLE’S HOUSEHOLDS WERE RUINED BY IT.

*** And by the way, “coyotes” is the criminal nickname for human smugglers at our southern border. Naturally anti-Trump fascists are pretending Trump meant that actual coyotes are smuggling people.

Biden corrupt

Given that Joe Biden has been running what amounts to The Biden Crime Family it’s fitting that he was given a Mafia-style nickname “the Big Man.” And the witness accounts make Joe look even more “mobbed up” with the warnings to always refer to Joe as “the Big Man” except in face to face meetings. Reeks of criminal antics. How appropriate.

Next, there’s a look at how Democrat Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are still sabotaging and playing politics with the latest Covid Relief package. Again I will say I’m ashamed I used to belong to that party until I became an Independent Voter.

Nancy Pelosi Democrats don't care

No explanations needed for this next one: Continue reading
