Can you imagine the old, old Ma Bell monopoly cutting off people’s phone service because their operators caught those users discussing voting for political candidates disapproved of by Ma Bell’s upper echelons or expressing opinions frowned upon by Ma Bell? 
For a mock headline how about “CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS DENY BEING VERMIN, ADMIT TO BEING LARGE CLUMPS OF BACTERIA SCULPTED INTO HUMAN FORM” 
“We are walking away from the lies, the hate, the violence, and vandalism. We are walking away from the vitriol, the name-calling, the censorship, the Fake News. We are walking away from the phony and crooked investigations, the divisiveness, the race-baiting. We are walking away from the attacks on our America. President Trump has done more for the working class and the poor than any other president in decades. I will point out again that he combines elements of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Harry S Truman and John F Kennedy.
