ASK BALLADEER: JOHN MCCAIN

McCain WarREADER QUESTION: What’s your opinion of the latest John McCain/ Trump bit?

ANSWER: As long-time readers of Balladeer’s Blog can vouch for, I despised John McCain since long before Donald Trump was president. In fact, since I started Balladeer’s Blog back in 2010 I frequently made it clear that I considered McCain to be even lower than the clump of bacteria named George W Bush.

John Mccain cheatingTo give you an idea of how strongly I feel: I can promise you that no matter how much I despise George W Bush and Barack Obama I will NOT describe them in the same hostile way I describe John McCain. Especially after they’re dead. McCain doesn’t deserve any courtesy or consideration. Yes, that’s how low I consider McCain.

Searching under McCain’s name will bring up all the past posts here if you want all the details so I’ll try to keep it brief in this reply.

For starters, the media used to point out what trash McCain was, but now that he’s dead they just like using his corpse to hit Trump. By the way, all my criticisms of John McCain are the same ones used against him by the media when he ran for President in 2008. Since he feuded with Trump the media ignores what garbage McCain always was.

John McCain mad bomberIn my opinion John McCain embodied the stereotype of the racist, warmongering Republican rich pig. But I found him far more repulsive because he would often showboat with some token criticism of his colleagues to get positive pub from Democrat media outlets, then vote with the other Repubs anyway! It’s not “being a maverick” to act like “Hey, those other Republicans are all a bunch of racists and warmongers but not me” and then largely vote for all the policies that those “racists and warmongers” are voting for anyway.

HERE’S ANOTHER COLUMN POINTING OUT HOW REPUBLICAN JOHN “LET’S FIGHT WARS ALL OVER THE WORLD” MCCAIN WAS CALLOUS ABOUT PEOPLE DYING IN THE WARS STARTED BY HIM AND HIS PALS IN THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX – But people who claim to hate American Interventionism and Cowboy Diplomacy praised McCain simply because he took cheap shots at Trump. Click HERE

John McCainThe reason President Trump once again mentioned what filth McCain was is because even more evidence has come out linking McCain to the pack of bizarre lies known as the Golden Showers Dossier. So, no matter what you think of the Orange One this is not a case of a sitting president gratuitously dumping on a dead Senator. He’s dumping on a Senator involved in publicizing such a low form of gossip-mongering that even the fascist J Edgar Hoover might have balked at doing it.

To quote from my most recent blog post featuring McCain:

His nauseating way of behaving like a prick then basically saying “You wouldn’t insult a man who has brain cancer, would ya” is so typical of this bought and paid for Republican worm.

John “Songbird” McCain was often linked to stories about how he collaborated with his North Vietnamese captors to the detriment of his fellow prisoners, some of whom were beaten to death. And refuses to okay the unsealing of his POW files despite frequent calls to do so. Hmmmm. Continue reading

FLASHMAN NOVELS: TENTH PLACE

Flashman faceFor Balladeer’s Blog’s Number One Harry Flashman Novel click HERE .

For background info on George MacDonald Fraser’s infamous anti-hero Harry Paget Flashman you can also click that link.

Royal Flash wideview10. ROYAL FLASH (1970)

Time Period: The Revolutions of 1848 (1847-1848)

Favorite Book Blurbs: “Just when the Revolutions of 1848 are sweeping across Europe … Just when the masses are rising up against their ages-old masters … Just when no throne seems safe from the emerging wave of egalitarianism … Yes, just when being a monarch is synonymous with being a marked man, guess who should find himself forced into masquerading as a certain pompous, blue-blooded boor? “

Royal Flash 3“Horse riding, sword fighting, brawling, drinking and humping, Harry is always in the thick of 19th Century history! This time the lusty scoundrel is tangled up in political intrigues involving Otto Von Bismarck, Lola Montez, Karl Marx and the Schleswig-Holstein Question.”

NOTE: Please don’t judge this novel based on the god-awful movie adaptation from 1975. For the role of Harry Flashman you need a handsome, charming British version of James Garner. Alan Bates would have made a much better Flashman than Malcolm McDowell in my opinion, but he was instead cast as Rudi Von Starnberg (I could picture the 1975 Timothy Dalton as Rudi to Bates’ Flashman.)

And yes, I know George MacDonald Fraser worked on the screenplay but in my view Director Richard Lester overdid the goofiness level on the movie, just like he did with Superman III. Instead of shooting for Anthony Valentine’s Raffles series crossed with Tom Jones and Barry Lyndon, Lester treated this like a British Don Knotts movie. Or, God forbid, Jerry Lewis.

Lola MontezSynopsis: Harry Flashman, fleeing a police raid on a gambling establishment he was frequenting, winds up meeting the legendary real-life adventuress Lola Montez, one of the few women to tug at Flashman’s heart, not just his man-parts. During their romantic nine-day wonder of wild love-making and tempestuous quarreling, Harry also winds up clashing with future statesman Otto Von Bismarck in clubrooms, on the hunt and on the riding range.

Following a bitter breakup with the lovely Lola as well as outdoing Bismarck on the social circuit, Flashman little dreams that the vengeful duo will team up and use him as a sacrificial pawn in political intrigues. When Lola uses her overwhelming beauty and dazzling personality to wrap King Ludwig of Bavaria around her little finger (as historically DID happen) she summons Harry to Munich, supposedly to bury the hatchet and join her stud-line of lovers on the side.   Continue reading

FACULTY LOUNGE FASCIST ROUNDUP: MARCH 20th

Education indoctrination conveyor beltEver wonder where people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez get the irrational gibberish they spout? Thank a teacher! (And remember, AOC has a degree from Boston University … a degree in economics. LMAO) Here’s another look at the way Democrats have distorted the educational system into a one-party practice in bias and irrational thought.

education limits your imaginationProfessor Sam Abrams at Sarah Lawrence College is accused of a Thought Crime because he spoke out in support of ideological diversity. DOZENS of Democrats in the faculty joined with students in demanding that Abrams be fired for this modest suggestion. (Hey, Democrats are such criminals they consider getting people fired to be “making their bones.”)

On top of that those faculty Democrats and the brainless Ocasio-Cortezes in training issued additional demands (don’t be shocked). Among those demands:

*** The racist demand that “students of color” should never be taught history by white professors.

*** The very revealing demand that students have unlimited access to therapy sessions. (Pretending to be college students is apparently very traumatic.)

*** The imbecilic demand for free laundry detergent and free fabric softener. (I’m not joking.)

And much much more! CLICK HERE and HERE Continue reading

#BLEXIT CONTINUES: ANOTHER BLACK TRUMP SUPPORTER PROUDLY SPEAKS HIS MIND

Trump and black support#BLEXIT is a kindred movement to #WALKAWAY and is about the way Urban Intellectuals Matter. #BLEXIT and #BLACKLIVESMAGA center around black people who add their own “voices” (to use one of the Democrats’ most nauseating clichés to tweak them) to an ongoing national discussion.

That discussion is about the intolerant way Democrats treat black people like they MUST obey them and MUST conform to the political opinions that privileged white Democrats have chosen for them.

This video features another Martin Luther King Person of Courage openly expressing his support for President Trump. Continue reading

pelosi haggardWHITE, PRIVILEGED ONE-PERCENTER DEMOCRAT NANCY PELOSI AND EVERY OTHER MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO HINDERS BORDER SECURITY IS AN ACCOMPLICE TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE CRIMES. YES, HYPOCRITES, PRETEND YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED IN NEW ZEALAND WHILE IGNORING ATROCITIES PERPETRATED HERE BY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Kelli BallardJournalist and strong female role model Kelli Ballard courageously continues to compile as comprehensive as possible a breakdown of the additional crimes committed by people in the country illegally.

The victims of illegal immigrant crimes and the loved ones of those victims deserve at least as much care and compassion as the corporate media and the Democrats heap upon every criminal alien who commits murders and rapes.

FLASHMAN NOVELS: SIXTH TO TENTH PLACE

Flashman 1st novel 5Balladeer’s Blog’s original reviews of The Top Five Harry Flashman Novels were such a hit I followed it up with bonus reviews of what I consider the 6th through 10th novels. CALLED IT! DEMOCRATS NOW TRYING TO CLAIM AMERICA CAUSED VENEZUELA’S PROBLEMS

mascot new look donkey and elephant headsNapoleon’s famous remark that “History is a set of lies agreed upon” is apparently regarded as fundamental strategy by Democrats. The biggest regret of my life is that I ever belonged to that party of lying demagogues, pompous snobs, cowardly hypocrites and hilariously pretentious asses.

As predicted here – and I know I’m not the only one who did – the Democrats have begun claiming that the ongoing disaster in Venezuela is all the fault of the eeeevill United States. For “sanctions” and/ or any other excuse the left can conjure up out of thin air.

For decades Democrats have pushed this absurd attitude that if the U.S. has EVER interacted in any way with a country, any country, then we are to blame for anything bad that happens there in perpetuity. (But all good things that happen are in spite of us, they’ll claim.)

#WalkAwayThis is why Democrats continually push to lower the voting age. As those of us who used to believe their lies grow up and mature and begin noticing their tendency to revise history on the fly to meet their political needs of the moment they need young, uninformed people to replace the ones Democrats lose to the maturation process.

I’m glad I long ago decided to #WALKAWAY from the Democrats to become an Independent voter. Just one of many reasons is the way Democrats pretend that if the U.S. is on friendly terms with a dictatorship then we are complicit in the regime’s oppression, but if we are on unfriendly terms with a dictatorship then Democrats claim that we are to blame for any damage which the high-living dictators’ policies cause to that nation’s economy. PRESIDENT TRUMP: ONE MAN AGAINST AMERICA’S CESSPOOL OF CORRUPTION

donald-trump-and-flagThe daily saga of the unlikeliest hero of them all continues! As I’ve often pointed out President Donald Trump is America’s first de facto Third Party President since he has to battle the corrupt, bought and paid-for office-holders in both major parties. In addition Trump has helped the working class and the poor in ways that no other president from either party has done in decades. (see below)

President Trump is not a career politician, which will never change. Even if he gets reelected in 2020 there is no changing the fact that he was never a career politician. He is not a “Made Member” of either of the gangs of white-collar criminals called Democrats and Republicans. He did not spend his life working in the cesspool of corruption that masquerades as our government.

Latinos for Trump phone ladyAnd how can you NOT love the way he kept both Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton out of the White House?

Brian C Joondeph wrote a terrific piece titled Trump is an Army of One. The link is below, but first some excerpts:

The truth was he was never a Democrat or a Republican, at least as they are defined today. Instead he is a problem solver, beholden to no one and not part of the political establishment. His loyalty is only to America and those who voted for him, not to the donor classes …”

Trump supporterHe was not part of either party’s ruling cabal, having never held elective office or political appointment. He did not campaign or arrive at the White House with an entourage of advisors and staff, from previous stints as a governor or senator. Trump was an army of one.”

Fortunately, Trump is a fighter. No other Republican could withstand the daily blistering barrage from the media and both political parties ganging up on him to destroy his presidency.” Continue reading

MARK ZUCKERBERG LOOKS AT POETRY

Mark Zuckerberg dead inside

“I’M DEAD INSIDE.”

Nobody takes more joy in sucking the emotion out of all human contact than Facebook’s Mark “Skippy” Zuckerberg! Mark – who hopes to become “a real boy” someday – recently chatted with a nonexistent reporter for Balladeer’s Blog. The subject was Zuckerberg’s new algorithm for breaking down poetry (patent pending).

BALLADEER’S BLOG: So Mark, what made you and your ilk in Silicon Valley take time away from invading people’s privacy to poke and prod at poetry?

MARK ZUCKERBERG: It annoyed me that there was still a scintilla of humanity left in the written word and I realized I couldn’t rest until I had analyzed it, broken it down and/or monetized it in some way. At the very least I wanted to destroy the emotion within it.

BALLADEER’S BLOG: Why do you despise all passion?

Mark Zuckerberg act normalMARK ZUCKERBERG: I figure if I’m not capable of experiencing emotions there’s no reason that people who have less money than I do should get to experience them either.

BALLADEER: Say no more. May I recite some random lines of poetry to you so you can demonstrate how your poetry algorithm would translate them?

MARK ZUCKERBERG: I would not be opposed to doing that.
