THE CRIMES AND SINS OF AMERICA ARE LARGELY THE CRIMES AND SINS OF DEMOCRATS

Democrat slogan

“OPPRESSING PEOPLE WHILE POSING AS THE OPPRESSED!”

It’s been said that the “crimes and sins of America” are largely the crimes and sins of the Democrats. Their political party has been responsible for so many national atrocities that the sleazy politicians of the Democrat Party then blame on the nation as a whole. They go on to lecture the rest of us for the wrongs done by THEIR political party.

Don’t let Democrats get away with their White Supremacist claim that “That was long ago. We Democrats are different now and all the racist, hatemongering Democrats of the past would not be Democrats now. You know that because we Democrats say so and we order you to believe it.”

February is the month set aside for honoring the people who heroically resisted Democrat oppression and for marking the long, long list of atrocities perpetrated by that party of hatred and division.

At any rate, the hypocritical Democrats love to COMMIT the atrocities that they then go on to blame THE REST OF US FOR! They love to act like THEY can just move on and forget their role in slavery, Japanese internment, the Trail of Tears and so much else, but the rest of the country bears some absurd collective guilt over those things for the rest of eternity.

Hatred and violence are in the DNA of the Democrats.

Imacon Color ScannerTRAIL OF TEARS: Democrat President Andrew Jackson openly ignored a Supreme Court decision and subjected Native Americans to the hardships and large-scale deaths in forcibly moving them along what became infamous as the Trail of Tears.

THE SPOILS SYSTEM: Democrat Presidents Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren became synonymous with the Spoils System, under which political hacks would be placed in high positions. Those positions were ideal for graft and other corruption and for abusing authority to force their subordinates to serve the Democrats, NOT the public.

Plantation slavesSLAVERY: Anyone who knows American history knows that the Democrats fought to preserve and extend their beloved “Peculiar Institution” of slavery just as obstinately as they fight today to preserve and extend Islam’s Gender Apartheid and their beloved Peculiar Institution of Sharia Law.

Hell, slavery meant SO much to Democrats that they callously divided the nation in a Civil War to try preserving it. In typical Democrat fashion they watched wave after wave of young men die for their hate-filled cause. It would not be the last time.

Roger B TaneyTHE DRED SCOTT DECISION: In the years leading up to the Civil War DEMOCRAT Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Roger B Taney was responsible for the Dred Scott Decision which claimed that African-Americans were not people and therefore had no rights. Democrats still blame the rest of us for this outrage, too.

THE KU KLUX KLAN: Democrats were so resentful that other Americans freed their slaves that they formed the KKK to torment, terrorize and harass freed African-Americans. A century later they would perfect the practice of pretending moral superiority over the rest of us for what THEIR party was responsible for.

And yes, Democrats, I know your standard excuse will be “That was a long time ago. We’re better people now.” Well if YOU PEOPLE can say it, then it also applies to THE REST OF US, TOO. So get down off your soap boxes and quit lecturing the rest of us about the “diversity” your political party opposed for so long.

Jim Crow LawsJIM CROW: Democrats used every underhanded legislative and judiciary trick their bigoted minds could come up with to keep violating the rights of African-Americans. They did this for a century, then gave into the inevitable and embraced the long-active Civil Rights Movement.

Most of the hard and dangerous work in that Civil Rights Movement had already been laid out by the point in the 1960s when the Democrats co-opted it. Over the years, the Democrats would try to take credit for the entire Civil Rights Movement even though THEY were the ones the Civil Rights Movement was FIGHTING for so long. (Martin Luther King, Jr – like Abe Lincoln – was a Republican.) Continue reading

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JAMES JOYCE!

jamesjoyceHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JAMES JOYCE! His works got me hooked in my teens when I really related to his character Stephen Dedalus as he rejected his religion and indulged what I call his “young and pretentious side” in A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. I wore out my copy of Joyce’s novel Ulysses and continue to mark Bloom’s Day to this very day.

Over the years Finnegans Wake replaced Ulysses as my favorite Joyce novel and I’m fonder than many people are of his play Exiles. Naturally, I’m also into his “epiphanies” in Dubliners and, poetry geek that I am, even Pomes Penyeach and Chamber Music. So, if you live in Ireland, say hello to Anna Livia Plurabelle for me today!   Continue reading

WOMEN RESISTING DEMOCRAT OPPRESSION

Democrats KlanFebruary is the month for remembering Democrat race-hatred and the heroic people who have resisted it over time. This blog post will salute a few of the more recent Women of Courage to oppose the Democrats and their vile hatemongering. THE DEMOCRAT PARTY NEEDS TO CHANGE ITS NAME TO ELIMINATE ITS CONNECTION TO SLAVERY.

pelosi and schumer love illegal immigrantsIn this era of eliminating so many monuments to the Confederate States of America the Democrats have no excuse for bitterly clinging to the name and symbol of slavery, White Supremacy, the KKK, Jim Crow, the Trail of Tears, Japanese Internment, the Gulf of Tonkin and so many other atrocities that Democrats try to blame on the rest of us.

Their tiresome excuse that “Democrats of today are different” reeks of White Privilege and if they can use that excuse then so can the nation as a whole, despite Democrat efforts to mire the entire country in their own guilt and shame. I know, right?

crystal-wrightCRYSTAL WRIGHT

Ms Wright runs her own website and makes personal appearances around the country. Race-baiting Democrats always harass people like her who are brave enough to form their own political opinions despite the condescending disapproval of hate-filled American Liberals. The vile abuse that Democrats throw at her for defying them will disgust you.   Continue reading

VICE PRESIDENTS – JOKES ABOUT THESE ULTIMATE SECOND BANANAS

John AdamsWith President’s Day approaching here’s the first of many seasonal posts.

John Adams called the Vice Presidency “the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived.” A very old joke went “Once there were two brothers. One ran away to sea and the other became Vice President. Neither was ever heard from again.”

In George S Kaufman’s and Morrie Ryskind’s classic stage work Of Thee I Sing one of the characters turns down an offer to be Vice President because he’s ashamed to have his mother know. He’s persuaded to accept the office when it’s pointed out that if he doesn’t tell her about it she’ll never find out.

The office has featured eminently forgettable figures as well as comic relief buffoons like Dan “The Global Village Idiot” Quayle and Joe “Koo Koo For Cocoa Puffs” Biden. In the light-hearted style of Balladeer’s Blog’s look at U.S. Presidents here’s a look at the men who got to hang around and see if the country’s Chief Executive wound up six feet under. I’m omitting VP’s who went on to actually become President, so no John Adams or Thomas Jefferson, etc.

aaron-burrAARON BURR

Served Under: Jefferson

Noted for: Shooting dead more Treasury Secretaries and hatching more plots to start his own country than any other Vice President. (So far, anyway.)

Best Burr Quote: “I’m still searching for the real killers of Alexander Hamilton.”

GEORGE CLINTON

Served Under: Jefferson and Madison

Noted for: P-Funk and Funkadelic Leading American Rebel forces against the British troops of his loyalist cousin Sir Henry Clinton during the Revolutionary War.

Best Clinton Quote: “Do fries go with that shake?”

Elbridge GerryELBRIDGE GERRY

Served Under: Madison

Noted for: Pioneering the method of “Gerrymandering” political districts in a way that the modern day Democrats and Republicans have raised to a mainstay in the world of white collar crime which they inhabit.

Best Gerry Quote: “I’ll be immortalized as the man who invented Elbridge-mandering!”

DANIEL D TOMPKINS

Served Under: Monroe

Noted for: Being ruined by a scandal in which he was mistakenly accused of pocketing some of the funds he raised to conduct the War of 1812. Years later it was all revealed to be an accounting error. Continue reading

SCARAB (1983): MOVIE REVIEW

Balladeer’s Blog’s recent Robert Ginty Movie Marathon has been so popular that I’m throwing in a bonus Ginty flick here. FOR THE GINTY MARATHON CLICK HERE

scarabSCARAB (1983) – Robert Ginty AND Rip Torn … TOGETHER! Somebody pinch me! A Spanish horror film that does NOT star Paul “Jacinto Molina” Naschy! Somebody pinch me!

Ginty plays Murphy, a reporter stationed in Spain. Torn stars as Khepera, a mad scientist who becomes a globe-trotting cult leader after one of his experiments causes him to become possessed by an entity claiming to be the scarab-headed Egyptian god Khepera (sic).

Murphy is presented as being irresistible to women for some reason. We meet him as he climbs into bed with an Ambassador’s wife at a diplomatic function he’s supposed to be covering for his newspaper. (What a professional!) This earns him a black eye from the Ambassador and a chewing-out from his Editor (Sam Chew of Rattlers fame). Needless to say all of the secretaries at the paper are hot for Ginty, too. (By the way, Hot For Ginty was my favorite Van Halen song.) Continue reading

FACULTY LOUNGE FASCIST ROUNDUP: JANUARY 31st

VoltaireThe latest laughs coming from the Democrats who pretend to be academics center around their claim that “using quality as a criterion for grades is racist … and so is architecture”

It’s no secret that make-believe “educators” (LMAO) have – through their political intolerance – reduced colleges and universities to faith-based institutions that are as irrational as any religious “schools.”

The Democrats at these institutions abuse their positions to browbeat their students with their unhinged political views.

ACADEMIC GRIEVANCE STUDIES AND THE CORRUPTION OF SCHOLARSHIP – This is a terrific item at Areo Magazine. It’s a look at the blatantly partisan political screeds that masquerade as scholarship.

The trio of authors have also demonstrated the absurdity of grievance “theories” by getting collections of gibberish published IN PEER-REVIEWED PUBLICATIONS under the noses of alleged academics who could not even tell that the papers presented were PARODIES of the silliness of politically distorted “scholarship.”

The link is below, but first an excerpt:

“Something has gone wrong in the university—especially in certain fields within the humanities. Scholarship based less upon finding truth and more upon attending to social grievances has become firmly established, if not fully dominant, within these fields, and their scholars increasingly bully students, administrators, and other departments into adhering to their worldview.

“This worldview is not scientific, and it is not rigorous. For many, this problem has been growing increasingly obvious, but strong evidence has been lacking. For this reason, the three of us just spent a year working inside the scholarship we see as an intrinsic part of this problem.” Continue reading
