MUSLIM ATROCITY ROUNDUP: MARCH 18th

Islamophobia posterIslam is the most misogynistic, homophobic and otherwise intolerant religion in the world at this particular time. And the way Islam insists on marrying religion to government AND insists that non-Muslims must live by Muslim rules makes it a fascist and totalitarian movement that needs to be opposed loudly and daily. Muslim Violence Awareness Year continues with this look at just a FEW of the most recent atrocities by Muslims.

March 17th: Paris, France – A Muslim fanatic knifed two innocent people to death.

March 17th: Marib, Yemen – Muslim fascists used two rockets to kill THIRTY-FOUR innocent people.  Continue reading

A MODERN DAEDALUS (1887): ANCIENT SCIENCE FICTION

A Modern DaedalusA MODERN DAEDALUS (1887) – By Tom Greer. No, the title’s not referring to James Joyce’s character Stephen Dedalus (sic) but this tale IS about Ireland. The main character is a young man named Jack O’Halloran, a recent college graduate who returns to his native Ireland.

Jack has dreamed about flying since he was a child and now he uses his genius to create a winged apparatus that can be worn by a single person to take to the skies. Our modern Daedalus flies around at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour with his new invention. Jack is thrilled but complications arise when he shares the news with his father.

Old Man O’Halloran wants to use his son’s winged apparatus to wage aerial warfare against the hated British and thereby win independence for Ireland. Our protagonist doesn’t want his invention used for such a blood-soaked purpose and in the ensuing argument his father throws him out of the house. Continue reading

NCCAA FINAL FOUR SET

The 2017 college basketball postseason continues rolling along here at Balladeer’s Blog! Previously I covered the NAIA Division Two Championship Game HERE and the NCCAA Division Two Championship Game HERE . For both the Division One AND Division Two title games in the USCAA click HERE .

But I know most of you are curious about the Big Dance in Division ONE of the NCAA, and you can scratch that particular itch HERE .

*** NCCAA DIVISION ONE ***

Grace College Lancers 2FINAL FOUR, FIRST BERTH – It took DOUBLE OVERTIME for a winner to be determined in this particular game. The 5 seeds – the GRACE COLLEGE LANCERS – took on the 4th seeded CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE MUSTANGS.

At Halftime the two teams were tied at 33-33, then traded blow for blow and basket for basket again in the 2nd Half. Regulation ended with the score knotted up at 65-65 and the 1st Overtime session ended in a 72-72 deadlock. In the 2nd OT the Lancers at last emerged triumphant by a final score of 86-80. THE LOSERS (1970)

Losers biggerTHE LOSERS (1970) – Two of the gods of biker cinema, William “Big Bill” Smith and Adam Roarke, star in a film which takes a minor footnote in history and RUNS with it, using it as its premise! In real life the Hell’s Angels were for a time clashing with Vietnam War protestors whom the Angels considered cowards for not wanting to fight in the conflict.

Peace was negotiated between the two parties by Ken Keasey and Hunter S Thompson if you believe  Thompson’s book on the Hell’s Angels and Thompson’s biography.

LosersTo make it clear that the Hell’s Angels still disagreed with the protestors’ position on the war even though they had ceased beating them up, Sonny Barger, the Angels’ “Maximum Leader” at the time, released a public statement offering the services of the Hell’s Angels as “a gorilla (sic) force” (LMAO) in the war.

LBJ and Nixon strangely declined to take Barger up on the offer but director Jack Starrett made it the center of this classic bomb. Continue reading

I HAVE RACHEL MADDOW’S TAX RETURNS AND I’M NOT AFRAID TO USE THEM!

Rachel Maddow Chris HayesThe latest bit of Anti-Trump hysteria to backfire on his deranged critics came courtesy of Fake Reporter Rachel Maddow – whom I’ve always maintained is really Fake Reporter Chris Hayes. (Notice how you never see both Rachel and Chris at the same time?)

Maddow had another Trump-hater illegally rout Trump’s tax returns to her and then proved that she DOES NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO READ TAX RETURNS!  Rachel grandly announced she was going to expose Trump’s taxes, but, in one of the funniest acts of failed “reporting” since Geraldo Rivera opened Al Capone’s Vault, Maddow wound up VINDICATING TRUMP BY PROVING THAT HE PAID ALMOST FORTY MILLION DOLLARS IN TAXES FOR JUST ONE YEAR!

Further proving that she did not understand how thoroughly she was clearing President Trump, Maddow blundered along until the nation and the internet were abuzz with the fact that Trump paid his taxes at A HIGHER PERCENTAGE THAN FELLOW TYCOONS BARACK OBAMA, BERNIE SANDERS, MITT ROMNEY AND MOST ACTORS AND SINGERS DO!

Many Left-Wing Archie Bunker sites trashed Maddow today for accidentally providing Trump with so much positive PR! I guess Rachel’s attitude was “We’ve got President Trump now! HE PAID HIS TAXES! … D’OH!”  Continue reading

FAKEBOOK: THERE’S A REASON IT’S CALLED THAT

Sharyl Attkisson

America’s sole remaining journalist.

Sharyl Attkisson, the 21st Century Ida Tarbell, recently interviewed Data Analyst Kenneth Brown regarding his recent study that revealed how over roughly 60% of Fakebook Facebook’s posts trying to defend Obamacare are FRAUDULENT.

Brown’s study found that 226,000 Facebook posts pretending Obamacare worked were generated by just 40,000 profiles and behind those profiles he further narrowed activity down to just ONE HUNDRED PAID POSTERS.

The link is below but first some excerpts about how such phony “grassroots” online posts are done …

” …by digital activists pretending to be regular people.

“Digital activists are paid employees; their purpose is to attack anyone who’s posting something contrary to the view the page owner wants expressed,” he told Attkisson.

Brown: “Sixty percent of all the posts were made from 100 profiles, posting between the hours of 9 and 5 Pacific Time.”

Sharyl: “Which means what?”

Brown: “They were paid to post.” Continue reading

WAYNE ROGERS R.I.P – DR SEX AND ASTRO-ZOMBIES

Wayne RogersThe one and only Wayne Rogers passed away recently and since everyone else will be covering his time on M*A*S*H, House Calls, Stagecoach West, City of Angels and more, Balladeer’s Blog will do its usual oddball salute. Here’s a look at Doctor Sex (1964) and The Astro-Zombies (1968), two of the films Rogers co-wrote and co-produced with bad movie legend Ted V Mikels. Wayne even has a tiny role in Doctor Sex!

Doctor SexDOCTOR SEX (1964) – Like Doris Wishman, Russ Meyer, Herschel Gordon Lewis and so many others, Ted V Mikels got his start as a director doing Nudie Cuties. For newbies to the realm of Psychotronic Psynema, Nudie Cuties were big in the 1950s and 1960s and despite their name NEVER featured nudity.

Toplessness and some butt-shots were all you got, with strategically and/or improbably placed branches, shrubs or rail fences covering pubic regions. Fans of Peter Sellers will remember the classic sendup of those nudie cuties that he worked into one of his Inspector Clouseau films.

The appeal of these movies is barely understood today, when you can find any visual stimulation you want with just a few clicks on your keyboard but decades ago Nudie Cuties really packed ’em in. Enter Doctor Sex.

The titular doctor is holding a brainstorming session with his fellow psychiatrists Dr Schmutz and the gorgeous Dr Lovejoy. They plan on co-authoring a book to put the recently released Kinsey Report to shame.

To that end they share stories about some patients of theirs who suffered exceptionally peculiar sexual fixations. The tales are told through flashbacks and feature:

Dr Sex drawinga) A patient who fixates on having a dog’s-eye view to watching the sexy female owner of a pooch take her bath and other activities.

b) A patient whose work at a department store includes dressing and undressing mannequins and holding make-believe tea parties with them and otherwise treating them like they’re real women. In a horror film they would come to life and tear the man limb from limb or something but in this movie the patient just imagines that the mannequins come to life as incredibly beautiful women who want to hang around with him.

c) A female patient who loves taking her clothes off and, in a rags to even fewer rags story she becomes first a nude model and then a stripper.

And d) A patient who – in another idea torn straight from a horror anthology instead of a Nudie Cutie – lives in a house haunted by beautiful nude female ghosts. The ghosts do housework for the guy. No, I’m not kidding.

To wrap up their presumably successful venture Dr Sex and his colleagues cut loose with some lascivious behavior of their own. In the wildest moment Dr Schmutz turns into a dog and plans to use this canine form to land a sexy female owner so he can watch her bathing and in various stages of undress. Continue reading
