RANDOLPH C BERKELEY: MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT

Major BerkeleyRandolph C Berkeley earned the Congressional Medal Of Honor as a Marine Corps Major during action in Vera Cruz, Mexico on April 21st and 22nd, 1914. Berkeley’s daring leadership of his battalion from the initial assault and then through street to street fighting on both days earned him the decoration.

Major Berkeley’s performance was especially noteworthy in the fighting in Cinco de Mayo Street, where his brilliant tactics resulted in an incredibly low percentage of casualties for the men under his command.  Continue reading

BARACK OBAMA: FAILURE PERSONIFIED

Obama supporters BIGI think the labels Liberal and Conservative have become meaningless here in this era of political transition. The Libertarian label has become just as meaningless. Plus I’m an Independent voter, not a member of the Democratic or Republican parties. I can objectively state that Barack Obama is the very worst president the United States has ever had.

Obama is a demagogue who has thrived on race-baiting and on every other method of tearing the country apart into virtually warring camps. He is weak and inept. His administration has been overflowing with scandal since his first year in office but by obstructing the investigations every step of the way this white collar criminal has made it so that probes into even his earliest misdeeds are still dragging on and on. Obama then counts on public boredom with the investigations to provide him with additional cover.

Obamacare corpseLittle Barry has made health insurance unaffordable for the working class and has caused the loss of countless full-time jobs. He then brags about all the new part-time jobs that have sprung up. This piece of garbage hasn’t even been good for the Democratic Party. As Rory Cooper and others have pointed out, under Obama the Democrats have lost over 900 seats in state legislatures, at least a dozen gubernatorial seats, 69 seats in the House and 13 more in the Senate. ARCHIE MILLER: MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT

Archie MillerWith Memorial Day fast approaching Balladeer’s Blog will once again examine neglected conflicts, military units and recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor.

ARCHIE MILLER – Miller earned the Medal of Honor in action against Muslim slave-holders in the Philippines on July 2nd, 1909 on Patian Island. At the time Archie was a First Lieutenant in the 6th U.S. Cavalry. In a raging battle with the slave-owning Moro Muslims the crew manning a U.S. machine gun on a tripod were driven off. COLLEGE BASEBALL POSTSEASON UPDATE

*** NAIA ***

point universitySAVANNAH BRACKET: CHAMPIONSHIP – This Bracket’s  5 seeds – the POINT UNIVERSITY SKYHAWKS – have been THE story of the playoffs so far. Against all odds they made it to the third day of play with no losses. The top seeded CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS had suffered a loss on Day One, therefore one more loss would eliminate them. The Skyhawks got annihilated by the Tigers in the early game TEN to NOTHING. In the rubber game Point University notched a 2-1 win for Pitcher Dylan Griffin.  * THE SKYHAWKS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SAVANNAH BRACKET * Continue reading

LATEST MUSLIM ATROCITIES

Islamophobia posterMuslim Violence Awareness Year continues. I consider all religions to be illnesses of the mind so don’t waste my time whining to me, you enablers of Muslim violence. If Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Wiccans or others were commiting acts like this on a daily basis the way Muslims do I would include them. But as we all know Islam is the lone untamed beast among the world’s religions right now. The following victims were a diverse lot. The killers were all Muslims.

May 15th: Mukalla , Yemen – A Muslim fascist suicide bomber killed 41 innocent people and injured at least 60 more. (He “othered” them to use an expression beloved by the cowardly apologists for Muslim violence.)

May 1st: Runirgood, Somalia – Al-Shabaab, another franchise in the Global Muslim Fascist Murder Machine, killed 22 innocent people and injured 10 more.

May 7th: Coromo , Nigeria – The local franchise in the Global Muslim Fascist Murder Machine killed 12 innocent people and injured at least 18 more.

May 6th: Ituri, Dem Rep of the Congo – Muslim Defense International, yet another organization of the “vulnerable” Muslim community, hacked 13 innocent people to death.  Continue reading

FOOLKILLER: DEFENDERS NUMBER 79

Foolkiller in swamp in Man Thing

Foolkiller

Summer means superhero movies, so Balladeer’s Blog’s “Script Doctoring” of Marvel’s handling of Foolkiller continues with Part Five. FOR PART ONE OF THIS ARTICLE CLICK  HERE

More hints about my backstory for Foolkiller’s Purification Gun as I outline this alternate version of Defenders # 79as the team continues fighting Mandrill, Fem-Force and Mutant Force.

DEFENDERS Vol 1: Number 79 – Chains of Love (Jan 1980)

Since having Hulk on the cover was always crucial for sales during this struggling period for The Defenders the cover featured Hulk, Dr Strange and Sub-Mariner in their dull Tunnelworld adventure. It’s more imitation Tolkien as the trio battle the Unnameable, a boring villain from the Unreadable (Ed Hannigan).

Back on Earth the other contingent of Defenders (Valkyrie, Yellowjacket, Hellcat, Foolkiller and the Wasp) are where we left them last time. Yellowjacket has already been captured and the others are surrounded by Fem-Force, the Mandrill’s all-female army, because Ruth and Amber – under the Mandrill’s pheremone-fueled control – betrayed them.   Continue reading
