Yavapai College Roughriders BETTERWESTERN DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This game was a clash between two Regional Champions. The YAVAPAI COLLEGE ROUGHRIDERS came in as the champs of Region 1, while the WESTERN NEVADA COLLEGE WILDCATS wore the crown of Region 18. Dylan Enwiller of the Roughriders hit a Grand Slam Home Run to give his team a 20-16 triumph over the Wildcats. Pitcher Andrew Gross picked up the win.  * THE ROUGHRIDERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE WESTERN DISTRICT *  

Delgado College DolphinsSOUTH CENTRAL DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The DELGADO COLLEGE DOLPHINS and the EASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE MOUNTAINEERS squared off against each other for the title in this District. A 4-0 Dolphin lead in the 3rd Inning became a 4-4 tie in the 5th and a 5-5 tie in the 6th. Delgado College’s bats got red-hot after that and they emerged with a 10-6 victory. Jace Nini was on the Mound for the winners.  * THE DOLPHINS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL DISTRICT

Iowa Western ReiversNORTHERN DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The champs from Region 4 and Region 11 battled it out in this contest. The IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS – champions of Region 4 – seized a 1-0 1st Inning edge over Region 11’s TRITON COLLEGE TROJANS and never looked back. In the end the storied Reivers added to their fame with a 7-0 win thrown by Pitcher Brody Hagel-Pitt.  * THE REIVERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE NORTHERN DISTRICT *  

Santa Fe College SaintsGULF DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This game pitted the SANTA FE (FL) COLLEGE SAINTS against the CHIPOLA COLLEGE INDIANS. The Saints trailed the Indians 4-0 in the 3rd Inning but pulled to within 4-2 by the 5th. In the 6th Santa Fe College grabbed a 5-4 lead, then added an insurance run in the 7th. The Saints won the game 6-4 with Pitcher Trent Johnson leading the way.  * THE SAINTS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE GULF DISTRICT *

cisco college wranglersSOUTHWESTERN DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The CISCO COLLEGE WRANGLERS clashed with the MIDLAND COLLEGE CHAPARRALS. The Chaparrals seized a 3-0 advantage in the 1st Inning following which the Wranglers tied the score at 3-3 by the 3rd. From there Cisco College put up 6 more runs to the 3 notched by Midland College. The 9-6 victory was credited to Pitcher Troy Chezem.  * THE WRANGLERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SOUTHWESTERN DISTRICT *

San Jacinto College North GatorsSOUTHERN DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Tornado Field was the site of this battle between the SAN JACINTO COLLEGE-NORTH GATORS and the WHARTON COUNTY COLLEGE PIONEERS. The Gators got on the board first with a 1-0 lead in the 2nd Inning, a lead which stood until the Pioneers tied it up at 1-1 in the 8th. San Jacinto College-North mustered 3 more runs in the 9th Inning for a 4-1 win. Hudson Treu got the W.  * THE GATORS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT *  

Harford College Fighting OwlsEASTERN DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The HARFORD COLLEGE FIGHTING OWLS – champs of Region 20 – took the diamond against the Region 15 champions, the MONROE COLLEGE MUSTANGS. This game turned out to be pretty much of a laugher, as the Fighting Owls proceeded to fold, spindle and mutilate the stunned Mustangs by a final score of TWELVE to FOUR!  * THE FIGHTING OWLS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE EASTERN DISTRICT *  

Darton State CavaliersEAST CENTRAL DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Another battle of Regional Champions here as the DARTON STATE CAVALIERS (Region 17) faced the DYERSBURG STATE EAGLES (Region 7). The Cavaliers came back from a 4-1 7th Inning deficit to win this Instant Classic by a score of 6-5. The triumphant Pitcher for Darton State was Michael Reddick.  * THE CAVALIERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF THE EAST CENTRAL DISTRICT *
