THE CHANCELLOR MANUSCRIPT (1977) – With the latest revelations about blatant abuses by the FBI and other politicized agencies here’s Robert Ludlum’s novel about the dangers of such abuses by both the left and the right. There are Deep State operatives and an ugly “we know best” mentality like in today’s headlines. (Think of fascist garbage like the CIA’s John Brennan.)
TIME PERIOD: From shortly before J Edgar Hoover’s death in 1972 up to early 1973. The novel’s “what if” premise depicts the 77 year old FBI Director’s death as a planned assassination to prevent the Nixon White House from getting ahold of Hoover’s legendary files. (That’s NOT a spoiler – all that is made clear in the novel’s opening pages.)
Those files contain so much “raw meat” on powerful U.S. figures that we readers are told that whoever takes hold of said files will be able to rule the U.S. from behind the scenes by blackmailing the rich and the powerful.
The novel’s naïvete shows in that premise. I despise Hoover but I’ve always considered his abuses to be the EPITOME of the behavior of the scum from “the intelligence community” (LMAO), not an aberration from it. The accumulation of private information about people carries with it the implicit intent to USE that information against them. Of course, these days Zuckerberg and his fellow Corporate Fascists cheerfully help “the intelligence community” (LMFAO) spy on all of us. Continue reading

As Bernie Sanders supporters pointed out, senile Joe Biden, amid multiple erupting scandals, proved once again that he and his people can’t even manage a virtual campaign event, let alone cope with problems on a global stage.

He’s been called Senile Joe, Hidin’ Biden, the Demented Democrat and many other names, but the corrupt and lecherous Joe Biden is morphing from a laughingstock into a very, very ugly embodiment of sexual assault and harassment – even of UNDERAGED victims. A NINTH (or maybe tenth by the time you read this) young woman has come forward, this one stating she was just FOURTEEN when Joe Biden preyed upon her in 2008. 
Thank you to the Bernie Bros who reminded me of this. Joe Biden is STILL being called everything from senile to demented to a sexual assailant (#DROPOUTBIDEN is trending over the latest evidence). “Hidin’ Biden” has resorted to trying to bluff his way through softball appearances ONLY with fawning Democrats in the media. 
Senile Joe’s cognitive problems are such that even with the most delicate of handling he continues to gibber on camera. To quote one of his recent disordered babblings (link below):
The Democrats, the party of slavery, the Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, the Trail of Tears, the Japanese Internment and so much more, continue to treat African-Americans as if they are still slaves on the Democrats’ plantations. Last week Georgia State Democrat Representative Vernon Jones (left) endorsed de facto Third Party President Donald Trump instead of the Democrats’ probable candidate Joe Biden. 
“Jones told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he was not switching parties but praised Trump’s policies on certain issues.
“A generation of African American families have been devastated by draconian policies that Joe Biden supported and voted for when he served in the U.S. Senate,” Jones said in a statement to CBS 46. “A change was needed and President Trump took action.” 
In resigning his office today Jones stated “Turn the lights off, I have left the plantation.” (NOTE FOR OVERSEAS READERS: “Leaving the plantation” imagery is often used by heroic African-Americans who quit the Democrat party over its racism and its fascist attacks against those people of color who refuse to obey that political party.)
