FOOL KILLER FIFTY-EIGHT: AUGUST 1912

Balladeer’s Blog continues its examination of the many facets of Fool Killer lore. FOR PART ONE, INCLUDING THE HISTORICAL CONTEXT IN THE 1850s, CLICK HERE

Fool Killer with staff and Bowie knifePART 58 – Here are some of the targets of James Larkin Pearson’s version of The Fool-Killer from August of 1912.

*** Ex-Senator William Lorimer of Illinois. The previous month the Senate expelled Lorimer for ELECTORAL CORRUPTION, then as now a glaring problem in America. Investigations into the Lorimer scandal had been dragging on since 1910.

*** Republican President William Howard Taft, whom former President Theodore Roosevelt had come out of retirement to challenge as a Third Party candidate because of Taft being just a front man and stooge for Big Money interests and the Monopolies. In this 3-way race Democrat Woodrow Wilson wound up as the winner. FOR MY LOOK AT THIS BATTLE OF THE THREE PRESIDENTS CLICK HERE.

Pearson and his Fool Killer supported Roosevelt but recognized that with the anti-Wilson vote divided between Taft and Roosevelt that Wilson would likely win.

*** The Associated Press, which, as usual, he referred to as “the ASS-ociated Press,” for its groveling coverage of the pregnancy of bloated rich pig Vivian Gould, a celebrity descendant of the Goulds who once helped wreck the U.S. economy in the 1800s. Sort of like how the repulsive Bush Family was tied to the Savings & Loan disaster of decades ago via Neil Bush. Continue reading

A JOURNEY IN THE TWENTY-NINTH CENTURY (1824): ANCIENT SCIENCE FICTION

BulgarinA JOURNEY IN THE TWENTY-NINTH CENTURY (1824) – Written by Faddei Bulgarin, who had served in the Polish Legion of Napoleon’s Grand Army in his youth before going on to work for the Czars of Russia. In this fascinating tale an unnamed narrator gets swept overboard in the Gulf of Finland in 1824. The cold water and another element somehow put him in suspended animation and when he comes to he is all the way over in Siberia, where his body was recovered in the waters of Cape Shelagski centuries after he was lost at sea.

The year in which the narrator finds himself is 2824 A.D. and Siberia is by then a warm and comfortable place due to environmental engineering and climatic changes. Homes are all like virtual palaces and the citizens drive around in large wheeled chairs which are powered by steam and travel along rail lines like trains do. The walkways for pedestrians are all covered in order to protect them from precipitation.

Scattered police officers in feathered hats walk the streets, all of them wielding futuristic staffs which combine the firepower of 12 pistols and a large musket. The staffs are made of lightweight materials which make them easy to carry and aim.    Continue reading

BIDEN GETS DESERVEDLY SLAMMED BY SURVIVORS OF THE DEAD IN AFGHANISTAN AND BY OTHERS

Biden pullout strategyIndependent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog takes a look at the latest fallout from senile yet corrupt Joe Biden’s unmitigated catastrophe of a regime. Usually I focus on how callous and unfeeling Biden’s policies have been for the working class and the poor, or his endless corruption scandals, but this time around I’ll look at more implications of his ongoing failure in Afghanistan. Sleepy Creepy Joe continues to flail around looking for scapegoats but has only himself to blame for his horrendous decision to abandon the previously agreed-upon withdrawal plans and go with his rushed and clumsy approach.

Biden’s decision to abandon Bagram Air base without even telling our allies in the country set in motion all the other falling dominoes and all the ongoing bloodshed.

biden blood on handsBIDEN GETS DESERVEDLY BLASTED BY FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE SLAIN. One mother even called Biden ” a feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap.” Their expressions of pain and their fury at the incompetent buffoon who caused the deaths of their loved ones can be read about from the Washington Post and others HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE.

NORTH KOREA RESTARTS WEAPONS-GRADE NUCLEAR REACTOR HALTED UNDER TRUMP. The mess called Joe Biden sows disaster everywhere.

BIDEN’S BOTCHED DRONE STRIKE KILLED MORE INNOCENT CHILDREN THAN IT DID TERRORISTS. Also HERE.

BIDEN REGIME STILL UNABLE TO SAY HOW MANY HOSTAGES IT LEFT BEHIND IN AFGHANISTAN.

MOTHER OF MARINE RYLEE MCCOLLUM TO DEMOCRAT BIDEN SUPPORTERS: “YOU KILLED MY SON. THIS NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED UNDER TRUMP“. And remember, Democrats tell us that mothers who have lost children in a war have absolute moral authority and are not to be disagreed with.

MOTHER OF KAREEM NIKOUI, SLAIN IN AFGHANISTAN, SAYS FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM CLOSED HER  ACCOUNTS BECAUSE SHE BLAMES BIDEN FOR HER CHILD’S DEATH AND SAYS HE ROLLED HIS EYES AND TURNED HIS BACK ON HER WHEN SHE CONFRONTED HIM. Does anyone still doubt that Big Tech and their Social Media outlets act as government agents for the Biden Regime?

BIG TECH ALSO CENSORED GRIEVING MOTHER’S REMARKS “You are not the president of the United States Biden!!! Cheating isn’t winning!!! You are no leader of any kind! You are a weak human being and a traitor!!!! You turned your back on my son, on all of our Heroes!!!If my president Trump was in his rightful seat then my son and the other Heros would still be alive!!!!”

TWO FATHERS OF THE RECENT DEAD FROM AFGHANISTAN ALSO BLAST BIDEN FOR HIS CALLOUSNESS AND CULPABILITY IN THEIR CHILDREN’S DEATHS. “We didn’t want him anywhere near us”. Continue reading

THE BETSY (1978): MOVIE REVIEW

the betsyTHE BETSY (1978) – The popular 1970s television miniseries format proved to be perfect for adapting Harold Robbins’ novels since they were really just glorified soap operas, but for whatever reason this big-screen version of The Betsy attracted some very respected thespians for its cast. Name stars like Laurence Olivier, Robert Duvall, Katharine Ross, Jane Alexander and others pretty much slummed it in this flick, which was to the auto industry of Detroit as Dallas was to the Texas oilfields and Falcon Crest was to the California vineyards.

In this decades-spanning saga, Laurence Olivier stars as Loren Hardeman, the patriarch of a Detroit family which dominated the auto industry until recently. Loren is in semi-retirement and seems resigned to letting his grandson, Loren Hardeman III (Duvall), continue diversifying the family’s financial empire since their car business has been in decline.

Balladeer’s Blog

Olivier’s Shakespearean talents weren’t really made to handle less grandiose dialects and accents, and his Midwestern American impersonation in The Betsy is almost as funny as his howlingly absurd Yiddish accents in The Boys From Brazil and The Jazz Singer. His oddball American accent as Douglas MacArthur in the film Inchon was bad, but not nearly as bad as the noises that come from his mouth in this movie. Continue reading

Yesterday the Stallions played their first game of their 2021 campaign, so we’ll see how things go this time around.

North American University took it on the road against the LOUISIANA COLLEGE WILDCATS and found themselves on top 14-7 in the 1st Quarter and 34-14 at Halftime. After the break the Wildcats roared back to take a 38-34 lead by the end of the 3rd Quarter. In the end the Stallions held on for a 42-41 victory in this thriller.

BIDEN ATROCITIES CONTINUE TO ACCUMULATE

Kevin JacksonKEVIN JACKSON OVER AT THE BLACK SPHERE WEBSITE POINTS OUT HOW THE BIDEN REGIME IDIOTICALLY HANDED THE TALIBAN A VIRTUAL “KILL LIST” OF PEOPLE IN AFGHANISTAN WHO HELPED THE WEST OVER THE YEARS. Their dying screams will never reach the ears of Joe Biden, the callous, inhuman monster who condemned them to execution or to slow deaths by torture.

SEVEN BIDEN DISASTERS – It’s no secret that Joe Biden has unleashed at least seven disasters in his first seven months of staying in the White House. The working class and the poor have been the hardest hit, with the Biden Regime not caring.

biden blood on handsWITH THE BLOOD OF INNOCENTS ALL OVER HIS HANDS, BIDEN TRIES TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY. A weak and crooked man realizes he’s in over his head.

REPORTS CONTINUE THAT BIDEN CHANGED TRUMP’S WITHDRAWAL ARRANGEMENTS JUST SO HE COULD GO ON TELEVISION AND BOAST THAT HE HAD BROUGHT THE TROOPS HOME BEFORE THE 20th ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11th. How many have died and will die over this hollow, uncaring little man’s shallow attempt at empty symbolism?

CALLING OUT THE RACIST ASSUMPTIONS OF THE BIDEN REGIME REGARDING AFGHANISTAN. “They (Democrats) thought of the Afghanistan people as backward little brown people, just as the Democrats and the Deep State thought of the Vietnamese people as backward little yellow people 60 years ago under LBJ.”  Continue reading

JOE BIDEN’S “DUMBKIRK” FIASCO STILL RIPPLING

biden presidential portrait

Joe Biden dem in dementiaIt’s no secret that Joe Biden is hopelessly corrupt and is so inept that a past his prime graft-grabber like him never should have been considered a candidate for any office. His disastrous abandonment of the orderly Afghanistan withdrawal plans that America’s NATO allies and Biden’s predecessor had agreed to continues to yield tragedy after tragedy.

China’s bought and paid for Joe Biden even laughed after being asked about the thousands of Americans and others still stranded in Afghanistan thanks to his failure. He then admitted he STILL has no plans for what to do … and, of course, walked away without taking questions. Garbage. Absolute garbage.

And that unfeeling laughter and quip was almost lost to history as Biden Regime functionaries quickly cut the clown’s microphone, an act they have had to do multiple times during this dithering fool’s public appearances. And the doddering idiot’s tardiness as his handlers scurry to try to make him capable of standing upright continues, even swelling to a five-hour delay a few days ago.

The Pretender has rightfully become an international pinata now that his imbecilic policies have harmed more than just our country’s working class and the poor. There have even been warnings that the UK Parliament may be reluctant to support the United States’ military efforts abroad under Biden. And who could blame them?

Winston Churchill’s grandson, former Army officer, former Member of Parliament and former Minister for the Armed Forces of United Kingdom calls the Administration’s Afghanistan policy an “appalling betrayal of America’s most loyal ally” https://t.co/tcJQdIjyH8

— Ryan Browne (@rabrowne75) August 25, 2021

“According to reports earlier this week, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other G7 leaders asked Biden to push back the August 31 deadline for U.S. forces to leave Afghanistan. Taking the side of the Taliban, who said the U.S. leaving on time was a “red line,” Biden reaffirmed the date. Biden’s rejection of the request has prolonged the diplomatic crisis between the two nations, a crisis spawned by Joe Biden’s callousness and ineptitude.

But Joe continues to do everything his owners in China want him to do. China gets its money’s worth from Joe Biden. Continue reading

THE YEAR 4338, LETTERS FROM PETERSBURG (1835): ANCIENT SCIENCE FICTION

year 4338THE YEAR 4338, LETTERS FROM PETERSBURG (1835) – Written by Vladimir Fedorovich Odoevski. Set in the year 4338 A.D. this novel is told through correspondence from Hyppolitus Tsungiev, a Chinese college student in Saint Petersburg to Chinese friends in Peking. In that far future year Saint Petersburg has grown to be a megalopolis so large that it extends all the way to Moscow.

Russia and China are the two dominant world powers in this fictional future. China itself had fallen into a long period of stagnation which ended only with a revival during the reign of Hin Gin during the 3800s.

Looming over the exchange of scientific talk is the impending return of Biela’s Comet. That object was last seen in 1838 and is set to return in 4339, but its course this time will cause it to collide with and destroy the Earth. Continue reading
