Overseas readers have been asking me about the Liz Cheney situation in Congress. Since Balladeer’s Blog is an Independent Voter site I’ve always made it clear I would be fine if both the Democrats and Republicans splintered into multiple smaller parties because neither one represents the needs of their constituents at this time. That’s why people know they will get a response from me that is NOT motivated by political party bias.
And remember, even if you hate Donald Trump, another reason the Cheney-Bush Warmongers opposed him is because HE KEPT THE U.S. OUT OF ANY NEW WARS. Even the most anti-Trump media outlets in the U.S. are often willing to concede that point. AND SINCE THE CHENEY-BUSH WING OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WANTS ALL-WAR, ALL THE TIME, WITH VAGUE OBJECTIVES THAT THEY CAN ALWAYS CLAIM HAVEN’T BEEN MET YET, THAT IS WHY LIZ CHENEY AND HER ILK BASH TRUMP. If you back her, you’re backing open-ended warfare, among other things. 
*** John McCain, the racist Republican warmonger who did more than anyone else to try to stop America from having its first African-American president, was, of course, LATER treated like a statesman by the Democrats’ media outlets because he feuded with Trump. Hell, if you have a short memory or were too young to have noticed it, John McCain was, once upon a time being likened to Hitler, etc. For just one small (and light-hearted) example, you can still see Family Guy reruns like the one depicting the time-traveling Stewie and Brian encountering Nazis in the World War Two era wearing John McCain buttons. (The cartoon dates from around when McCain and Sarah Palin were running for president and vice president in real life.) 
Today is Mother’s Day, so Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog presents another item from Mary Harris Jones, better known as “Mother” Jones. This pioneering lady stays in touch with Balladeer’s Blog despite having passed away long ago. Now THAT’S dedication. 
Here at Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog I’ve often noted the way that, no matter where you stand on environmental issues, it’s become another topic where true conversation has vanished. For starters, I’ve never encountered anyone, no matter how they vote, who doubts or – as the hysterical put it – “denies” that climate change occurs.

It’s no secret that in the United States the REAL division is not black people vs white people or gay people vs straight people or women vs men – it’s DEMOCRATS VS EVERYBODY ELSE. 
Anyone who thinks that the January 6th protest against an election (that was as tainted as the 1876 and 2000 elections) was “an insurrection” or was “worse than 9-11” needs to seek professional help. 3,000 people died on 9-11. Only people who are insane or are unthinking political robots would compare the two. 
I can certainly understand Tatum’s surprise at how uninformed the newsreader is. I’m often amazed myself at the way people who don’t live here presume to know more than we do about political and social situations in the country where we live. I sometimes remind overseas people who condescendingly spout wrong information like this that they do not get an accurate view from the brief, isolated sniglets of “news” (LMAO) that they see. It’s why you never see me telling people in other countries how they should feel about events in their home nations. 
Here at Balladeer’s Blog I’ve long found Midnight’s Edge to be the most accurate site when it comes to entertainment news. I would put Clownfish TV in second place. As for Midnight’s Edge, not only do they carefully label what has already been proven and what is merely word from sources, but over the past few years they have been the only entertainment site I’ve seen that winds up being ACCURATE, especially in the long run, after all the facts have come out.
