HILLARY: OBAMA AND I HAVE THE WORKING CLASS ON THE ROPES – PLEASE DON’T STOP US NOW!
If Jill Stein or Donald Trump kept dodging the media because of health problems we would hear about it around the clock.
Financially comfortable American Liberals are as callous and snobbish toward the working class as are bloated rich pig Conservatives like the Bush family. That’s why many of them support Hillary Clinton, one of those Democrats who crush the working poor while constructing phony halos over their own heads.
In a nonexistent press conference today – since it’s OVER TWO-HUNDRED SEVENTY DAYS since this repulsive crook was subjected to a real press conference – Hillary expanded on this:
“Barack Obama has done so much to damage America’s working class that it’s VITAL you peasants elect me to finish his work! The vermin who have to work for a living must threaten this nation no longer!

At least Michelle and the kids think I’m a passable president.
Barack Obama is often called weak, inept and crooked. He’s proven that he is a horrible public speaker when he doesn’t have the crutch of a teleprompter. His actions have been struck down as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court MORE TIMES THAN ANY OTHER PRESIDENT. His policies have caused widespread pain and suffering for the working class and the poor.
In other words this piece of sewage from the cesspool of Chicago politics deserved every bit of snubbing and insulting he got from the real world leaders at the G20 summit in China. The refusal to give Obama the dignified greeting that the real world leaders received, the unflattering descriptions of Obama that the real world leaders gave to the media, all of it. Before MST3K there was The Texas 27 Film Vault!
Balladeer’s Blog continues its examination of this neglected cult show from the 1980s. Randy Clower, Richard Malmos, Ken “Tex” Miller and Joe “The Hypnotic Eye” Riley played machine-gun toting members of the fictional Film Vault Corps (“the few, the proud, the sarcastic”) who would show and mock bad and campy movies preceded by episodes of old Republic serials. They would also have comedic sci-fi adventures before and after commercial breaks.
ORIGINALLY BROADCAST: Saturday September 7th, 1985 from 10:30pm to 1:00am.
SERIAL: Before the movie our Film Vault Technicians First Class showed and mocked a chapter of Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (1940).
FILM VAULT LORE: Randy Clower at E-Gor’s site on Texas 27 Film Vault groupies: “We were a bit wild during that time and having a cult show on late at night opened a few doors around the Dallas area which we were all more than willing to go through and explore.”

I DON’T CARE ABOUT NATIONAL ANTHEMS OR FLAGS
The symbol of the nonexistent Balladeer Political Party
Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know that I feel that the old Liberal vs Conservative paradigm is hopelessly outdated. I also feel that national anthems, flags and pledges of allegiance are silly anachronisms.
That means I don’t care if athletes stand or sit or play with themselves during the national anthem of the U.S. or ANY country. This entire situation highlights the usual hypocrisy of Liberals and Conservatives. Conservatives huff and puff indignantly at athletes protesting the Star Spangled Banner but would no doubt consider it “legitimate protest” to sit out the national anthem of countries on hostile terms with the U.S.
American Liberals, meanwhile, practically orgasm at the thought of people sitting out the United States’ national anthem but would no doubt froth at the mouth if Americans refused to stand for the national anthem of, say, Mexico or other countries. Continue reading

Another entertainment world scoop for Balladeer’s Blog. My sources in the industry – and by the industry I mean the business – have told me Zack Snyder’s next foray into pointlessly glum and operatically melodramatic superhero stories will see Superman killing off his love interest Lois Lane.
Unfortunately audiences may have quite a long wait for this little honey because first Kal El has to be brought back to life in the Justice League movie.
Snyder’s plan for a film trilogy about the last day in the life of Bruce Wayne’s parents will also get in the way since my sources tell me that Zack STILL doesn’t think that audiences understand Batman’s origin story. Continue reading

LANGSTON RULES THE WORLD – The NAIA tradition of upsetting higher division teams at least once a week continues! The LANGSTON UNIVERSITY LIONS were guests of the NCAA Division TWO team the LINCOLN (MO) UNIVERSITY BLUE TIGERS. The Lions proceeded to mar this game called the L.U. Classic, toppling the home team by a final score of 23-13.
THE JAVELINAS ALSO RULE THE WORLD – The NCAA Division Two team called the TEXAS A&M AT KINGSVILLE JAVELINAS took it on the road against the Division ONE team the UNIVERSITY OF THE INCARNATE WORD CARDINALS. When the dust had settled in this thrilling game the Javelinas had also brought down a higher division team, in this case by a count of 31-22. Continue reading

ISLAM ATTACKS! (2016)
What’s Up, Muhammad could have worked as an alternate title of this film, which revives the grand old tradition of overdubbing a movie’s existing dialogue with comical new dialogue. What’s Up, Tiger Lily? (1966), Woody Allen’s overdubbing of a Japanese spy movie to make it a battle over an egg salad recipe, is still the best known of these ventures.
It was far from the first, however, and was preceded by Fractured Flickers (1963), a weekly television show in which celebrities would dub improvised comedic dialogue into old silent movies. Much later Mad Movies (1985) would feature its comedy talent from the L.A. Connection overdubbing movies from the 30s, 40s and 50s.
Or, as the film makes it, “Nothing to do with Islam, Nothing to do with Islam, Nothing to do with Islam …”
Not even serials were exempt from such treatment, with my favorite example being Firesign Theater’s production Hot Shorts (1984) featuring items like Sperm Bank Bandits in which the comedy team inserted comical dialogue into old serials like Canadian Mounties vs Atomic Invaders.
Other prime instances of overdubbing include What’s Up, Hideous Sun Demon (1983) with Jay Leno and other celebrities editing comical dialogue into the classically bad monster movie The Hideous Sun Demon and A Man Called … Rainbo (1990) in which the early Sylvester Stallone movie No Place to Hide was overdubbed to make it a comedic sendup of Sly’s Rambo movies. Even the original Night of the Living Dead has been given this treatment.
Enough background information! Islam Attacks features the Tim Burton movie Mars Attacks being overdubbed with hilariously dark comedy material which makes the story a look at the Western World’s weak and inept response to Muslim fanatics. The large heads of the Martian invaders are altered by CGI making them look like turbans in just one example of this film’s audacious attitude.

If you recall, Burton’s Mars Attacks featured the government hilariously refusing to think the Martians had hostile intentions no matter how many acts of violence they committed. The Martians would even be shooting people to death while robotically saying “We come in peace.” Islam Attacks does just what you’d hope for and plays up how contemporary governments keep trying to downplay any hostile intentions from Islamist groups and shows them blasting people to death while saying “We are a religion of peace” over and over. MESS WITH FIRE AND YOU GET BURNED – The SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE traveled to face the 19th ranked FAULKNER UNIVERSITY EAGLES (should be the Furies) in a game marking 10 years of the Faulkner football program. The Fire marred the celebration in what turned out to be a textbook example of defensive football. The final score was Southeastern University 10 Faulkner University 6. Continue reading
