Those two teams were the 4 seeds – the POINT UNIVERSITY SKYHAWKS – and the 2nd seeded TENNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS.

After a scoreless 1st Inning the Bulldogs grabbed a 2-0 lead in the 2nd, which remained unchanged until the Skyhawks went on top 4-2 in the 5th. Demetrius Perkins recorded a Double-Double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Yotes. Continue reading

WEDNESDAY NIGHT’S FEBRUARY FRENZY CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT ACTION

What my readers always care about are cool-named teams, so here we go – still alive – SAU Fighting Bees, Cal Maritime Keelhaulers, Jamestown Jimmies, Bethany Swedes, SDMT Hardrockers.   OUT –  V-Hawks, Comets, Blue Hawks, Cobras, Threshers, Moundbuilders and Spires.
