Free Speech 2There was a time when Liberals actively supported freedom of expression because they understood it was THE primary freedom from which all other freedoms flowed. The early figures from my own country’s history protected speech with the FIRST Amendment to the Constitution because they knew all too well that ideas that are considered taboo and offensive today might be considered essential truths by future generations.

The forever-hypocritical 1960s generation of American Liberals were all about Free Speech when THEIR ideas were the ones offending people. Once they considered themselves to be comfortably in the cultural, educational and political driver’s seat by the early 1990s they decided they wanted their own already outdated worldview enshrined in stone and presented as THE one true set of values.

The totalitarian asses of the 1960s can’t bear the fact that younger people might have opinions that offend THEM as much as their opinions offended their parents’ generation.  Continue reading →

LEFT-WING ARCHIE BUNKERS: A BEHAVIORAL GUIDE

hippyBalladeer’s Blog presents a look at the bizarre behavior of the figures called Left-Wing Archie Bunkers, a sub-group of American Liberals. (You can call me a Populist or a Socialist or an Anarchist but please not a Liberal. American Liberals have ruined that word.)

For this first installment we’ll compare and contrast the way a reasonable person and a Left-Wing Archie Bunker would react to being told a fanatic has just slain over a dozen innocent people in cold blood.

Reasonable Person’s Reaction: What a horrible thing to do! I hope they catch the person who did it!

Left-Wing Archie Bunker’s Reaction: What religion was the shooter? If they were a Muslim their religion had nothing to do with it, but if they were a Christian then it proves that Christians are dangerous to us all.

You see, while the Reasonable Person is able to express their reaction right away the Left-Wing Archie Bunker has to make sure the killer wasn’t a Muslim. If the shooter WAS a Muslim then that changes the way the Left-Wing Archie Bunker feels permitted to react.

As I’ve mentioned before, American Liberals have reduced themselves to barely human political robots. Rather than have spontaneous human reactions they are programmed to filter everything through the prism of their many, MANY political prejudices.  

I could swear that a Muslim fanatic could gun down a Left-Wing Archie Bunker’s own children right in front of them while screaming “Die, scum, die!” and the American Liberal’s response would be something like this:

Left-Wing Archie Bunker: Damn American foreign policy for making this otherwise peace-loving Muslim gentleman murder my children act out in legitimate resistance to American imperialism and/or Islamophobia!   

Yes, Left-Wing Archie Bunkers – especially the ones from the prolonged adolescence of the “academic world” (LMFAO) – are relics of a time when the Western World was long past due for some collective introspection and reevaluation.

FIVE DECADES have passed since then, however, and we are now in a period when the Muslim World is long past due for some collective introspection and reevaluation. SJW’S: LOSERS OR JUST FOOLS?

By way of this general announcement I will once again remind the ridiculous poseurs who refer to themselves as SJW’s that, if they expect me to allow their comments to show – comments in which they absurdly refer to themselves with that hilariously pretentious and grandiose SJW label – then they have to address me as a “Heroic Defender of Freedom.”

Doing so might just convey to you what silly “only child” jackasses you look like to other people when you use that lame SJW title.

First – Calling YOURSELF an SJW is as meaningless as the way some of you compound this narcissistic idiocy by labeling yourselves a “Public Intellectual” on your social media home pages. Face it, if you’re reduced to designating YOURSELF as an intellectual – public or otherwise – you’re probably not one.

Second – The term “Social Justice” is as ridiculous as the Right-Wing terms “Family Values” and “Patriotic American.” Reasonable adults will not necessarily ever agree on the meaning of such silly generalities. Everyone knows when SJW’s and their ilk refer to Social Justice they REALLY mean only their own definition of it – a definition polluted by their political prejudices and self-centered drama queen tendencies. TRUMBO (2015): HOLLYWOOD HYPOCRISY IS HILARIOUS

The political intolerance of the shallow, uninformed and emotionally unstable fools of Hollywood knows no bounds. They unabashedly call for the personal and professional destruction of everyone who votes differently than they do while ignoring the fact that they are practicing their own – even more fanatical – form of McCarthyism.

TRUMBO (2015) – How about “Are you now or have you ever been a racist or imperialist or Islamophobic or privileged?” Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know how sick I am of the increasingly meaningless “Liberals vs Conservatives” paradigm. It’s just that right now American Liberals are far more pompous and hubristic and in need of being cut down to size.

Case in point: the movie Trumbo. Only American Liberals could be so lacking in self-awareness that they would – in this age of non-stop harassment of Trump supporters, Political Correctness Police and SJW persecutors – trot out (for the millionth time) the story of Dalton Trumbo and some of the other figures who were black-listed during the Communist Witch Hunt of decades ago.

For the past few decades Left-Wing Archie Bunkers  have been the ones black-listing and inflicting draconian punishments on people who dare to hold different political opinions than they do.

We are still suffering under the “Racist” and “Privilege” Witch Hunts that American Liberals continue to pursue with the same sickeningly judgmental attitude and spurious statistics that Joe McCarthy was accused of. How many careers (and therefore lives) have we all seen ruined by the cold, merciless asses of the political left? Often over  simple remarks or organizations the victims belonged to or political contributions they made YEARS earlier. Plus DemoKKKrats accuse people of being racists as a scare tactic the way accusations of being a Communist were used back then.

Anyone under 30 (maybe even 40) who watches Trumbo needs to focus on the OBVIOUS parallels to the way American Liberals hound and persecute Trump supporters and any behavior they choose to interpret as “racism” or more generally as “hate.” When you watch right-wing zealots obsessively looking for “pernicious communism” and “secret communist messages” in Trumbo’s screenplays make a point of noting the similarities to the way DemoKKKrat zealots obsessively look for “racism”, “xenophobia”, “imperialism,” “colonial narratives” and on and on through the entire list of their paranoid fixations.  

American Liberals are monumental hypocrites who thrive on censoring dissenting ideas and black-listing people who hold those ideas even though they pretended to disapprove of censorship and black-listing when those tactics were used against them. They love re-staging old battles in which the outcome is known and wrap themselves in a cloud of self-satisfaction that blocks out anything like self-reflection or introspection. Continue reading →

The Left-Wing Archie Bunkers of the “academic” (LMFAO) world are so hilariously pretentious that it’s always fun to ridicule them, especially because they are as easily offended as the worst Christian Conservatives used to be.

Anyway, there is so much to make fun of them about that I forgot an item yesterday. (Sorry about all the political posts recently but it’s an election year here so it’s impossible to avoid this nonsense.)  

That item regards their pompous belief that they are High Priests and Priestesses of Racial Awareness sitting in judgment on everyone else. Trust me, you self-important fools, out in the REAL world – not the prolonged adolescence of the “academic” (LMFAO) world that you hide in – we adults of different races and different religions have been getting along peacefully for quite a long time.  

None of us have ever sat around saying to ourselves “Boy, I’ll bet the pretentious asses of the academic world would be just ever so proud of all of us for getting along like we do!” We don’t fixate on race like you hatemongers do. In workplaces unafflicted by large numbers of hypersensitive fools we treat each other as HUMAN BEINGS, a foreign concept to you secular clergy members.

YET ANOTHER FORMER LIBERAL DISGUSTED WITH THE LEFT

Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know how useless and outdated I find the old labels “Liberal” and “Conservative” to be. I considered myself a Liberal back before American Liberals adopted their motto “Islam: Right or Wrong.”

Michael Faraday (NOT pictured) is another in the long line of people that the increasingly demented political left has driven away. So here are some more reflections from somebody else who became disgusted with the complacent and self-infatuated left – especially the close-minded classroom liberals of the 1960s generation that Faraday came from:

“For the millions raised as leftists, it is not an ideology; it is a culture. Since childhood, they have lived and breathed it every day in the home. They know nothing else. Like any culture, it is a way of speaking, thinking and acting, with its own narratives and rituals. Narratives are held sacred, repeated, reinforced and, over time, added to. Welcome back to Balladeer’s Blog, the only site on the web that offers non-partisan criticism of Liberals and Conservatives. This post is part of my series in which I examine the construction of political myths. At this particular point in history American Liberals are more hubristic and in need of criticism so I’ll start with their political myths first.

As we “deconstruct” some of the concepts and figures held sacred by the hilariously pretentious asses of American Liberalism much of the fun will come from the huffy indignation they display when their own outdated value system is subjected to the same critical eye which they use to regard others. Most Liberals of the 1960s generation have become left-wing Archie Bunkers, forever living in the past.

THE 1960s – You’ve heard of the book The Greatest Generation? Well the American youth of the 1960s have earned a name as “the most self-aggrandizing generation.”  The 60s generation has never forgiven the land of their birth for the fact that life was not as simple and pleasant as what they saw on episodes of Father Knows Best or The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet.
