Here at Balladeer’s Blog I make no secret about the contempt I feel toward both of America’s major political parties. I also make no secret about the fact that I feel labels like “Liberal” and “Conservative” are becoming meaningless.
Many of you readers have asked me why I’ve recently begun using the word “Democrat” in contexts where I used to use the words “American Liberal.” I started using Democrat instead because plenty of readers had made the point that many, many disillusioned American Liberals have – like myself and so many others – become disgusted and left the Democratic Party.
I’ve even linked to countless articles over the years by people who came to feel the same way about how the Left has become a collection of cowardly hypocrites, pompous snobs and hilariously pretentious asses – especially the increasingly irrational Left-Wing Archie Bunkers who pretend to be “educators” (LMAO) but are really just Voter Recruiters for the Democrats.
Anyway, I felt that those readers were right and so I switched to using “Democrats” instead of “American Liberals.” Feel free to weigh in if you feel I should switch back to using the word “Liberals” instead of “Democrats”. I’m always interested in the opinions of readers here.

In a way it’s fascinating as hell to be alive during this period in which America’s rival gangs of white collar criminals – Democrats and Republicans – have been forced to show their true, ugly, totalitarian faces.
The Democrats, who have lost countless elections at all levels across the country, are openly embracing the concept of having Corporate Rich Pigs force their (the Democrats’) irrational opinions on the rest of us with a savage ferocity that our actual government could never get away with on its own. The Democrats are being referred to these days as “The Party of CEO’s” and with good reason.
In a move even Machiavelli might have saluted, the Left-Wing Archie Bunkers who run the party of the Democrats have basically said to the country: “You can vote all you want, but we’ll just embrace Corporate Fascism to FORCE our dictates upon all of you!”
“After all,” the Democrats’ reasoning goes, “if we can work hand-in-hand with bloated rich pigs to ensure you won’t even be allowed to make a living if you express disagreement with us, then we think you’ll realize it’s in your own best interest to stop resisting and pretend you go along with even our most ridiculous positions.”
Going beyond Orwell’s much-cited “2+2=5” example from his novel 1984 the Democrats simply brush aside the impotent, bought and paid for Republican trash and go straight for the kill.
*** Instead of Orwell’s 2+2=5 we’ll go with another obvious fallacy just for the sake of variety. Let’s pretend the Democrats have somehow determined there is a political advantage to publicly embracing a similarly obvious fallacy – for that aforementioned variety we’ll say that Democrats want to force people to say “Earthworms are mammals.”
The Democrats will follow their tried and true process:
When free-thinking adults refuse to echo the ridiculous claim that “Earthworms are mammals” the Democrats will wheel and deal with bloated rich pigs like Mark Zuckerberg and similar types, like the powers that be at Starbucks and other companies.
Democrats will make it clear to those rich pig CEO’s that there are advantages to be had by cooperating with the Democrats in pushing their latest irrational Papal Bull. Political favors are to be had if various CEO’s use their bloated rich pig power to push the Democrats’ dogma down our throats.
Soon it gets to the point where these CEO’s (at places like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Silicon Valley, etc) will be firing and/or refusing to even hire people for holding positions that their Corporate Fascist political allies don’t like. It will all be done in the name of “combatting hatred” or “preventing puppy-dogs from being kicked” in the usual drama queen manner that Democrats love to use.
CORPORATE FASCIST MARK “SKIPPY” ZUCKERBERG
Bloated rich pigs like Zuckerberg will enforce the ridiculous “Earthworms are mammals” claims by letting all of their social media users hit that all-powerful “report abuse” button to silence all dissenting opinions. Never mind that social media users can block whatever they personally don’t want to see, Democrats ALWAYS insist that opposing viewpoints are dangerous or “hatred” and must be censored.
And if, say, certain states or cities refuse to enforce the Democrats’ “Earthworms are mammals” notion by teaching it in schools then rich pig CEO’s – including the NFL, NBA, etc – will grandly announce they are boycotting those locations until they cave in and go along with what the Democrats have decreed that “all decent, compassionate people” believe.
Democrats will smilingly approve and Republicans – who apparently only run for office to get bribe money and well-placed connections – will bluster insincerely about how they’re going to “stop this corporate blackmail” but will just get paid off by the same bloated rich pigs working with the Democrats and will do nothing. The hypersensitive and backward-thinking Democrats of America’s “educational” (LMAO) system are the most narrow-minded and easily offended fools imaginable.
You could probably have found 1600s Puritans more open-minded than 21st Century Democrats, who have hopelessly politicized education and exercise an unhealthy virtual monopoly on every level of the process. (A virtual monopoly they seized by forcing out everyone who disagrees with Left-Wing Archie Bunkers.)
Democrats who pretend to be educators (LMAO) have become incapable of appreciating art and literature. Instead they pompously and intolerantly dissect ancient works of visual and written art looking for nothing but (yawn) racism, sexism, white privilege, colonial narratives, “the male gaze” and all their other paranoid obsessions.
They have no appreciation for beauty in any form. Democrats have no identity outside of their political opinions so when they ponder the magnificent creations of past geniuses they use it as an excuse to pat themselves on the back about how much more “enlightened” or “woke” (LMAO) they consider themselves to be than the brilliant people who created those works.
It’s a very empty way to view the past and it’s also pointless. It’s only natural that people living in different time periods separated by a few hundred or a few thousand years WILL HAVE VERY DIFFERENT NOTIONS OF RIGHT AND WRONG.
And Democrats have become obsessed with forcing their own simple-minded notions of right and wrong upon everyone else. They feel they have “the one true worldview” and want it to literally be against the law to dissent from their bizarre orthodoxy. All while pretending they alone can define “hate.” Continue reading
Years ago Balladeer’s Blog ran a post examining which Nobel “Peace” Prize winner killed more people: Republican Henry Kissinger or Democrat Barack Obama. It used to be too close to call but Obama’s recent fathering of the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program has since given him the theoretical edge.
President Donald Trump hasn’t killed enough people yet to be in the running for a “Peace” Prize but bloodthirsty figures in America’s Military Business Machine keep trying to pressure him into a higher body count.
Anyway, with blood-soaked figures like Barack, Henry and even Yasser Arafat polluting the list of Nobel Peace Prize winners you can see how that prize has become a meaningless, dark-humored joke.
Add the fact that Obama got his Peace Prize in 2009, when he was so new to the presidency that he had done nothing to deserve it. He didn’t deserve the presidency, either, for that matter. But the media liked the way his shallowness mirrored their own, so there you go.
In virtually UNPRECEDENTED fashion a former rep of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee – Geir Lundestad – admitted in his book that the Committee gave the new president the Peace Prize just to try to boost him politically. No true criteria were used. Who knew they awarded Nobel Prizes “on spec” as it were?

+++ Filing a complaint about everyone who says something you disagree with is NOT “activism.”

White Supremacist Hillary Clinton, the pant-suited Richard Nixon on steroids, continued spouting the pompous Democrat attitude that groups they claim to “own” owe them slavish and unquestioning loyalty. Hillary said she will not offer “absolution” to women who did not vote for her.
Apparently, Delusional Hillary mistakenly thinks there are untold numbers of women who regret not voting for her. Yes, there are untold numbers of women who bitterly spout non-stop hatred for OTHER WOMEN who did not vote for Hillary, but there is NO indication that anyone wise enough to vote for the other candidates feels any sense of regret.
If anything, our de facto Third Party President Donald Trump has – merely by winning – forced the Democrats (DemCorp) and Republicans (RepubCorp) to show their real faces.
But since Crooked Hillary is still gnashing her teeth in impotent outrage here’s another look at my fictional HILLARY CLINTON EXCUSE CALENDAR. You’ll get three hundred sixty-five gems like:

The increasing unwillingness of American citizens to vote for the Left-Wing Archie Bunkers who call themselves Democrats has made DemCorp even more fanatical about increasing the numbers of illegal immigrants who enter the country. Democrats have alienated most of us who used to belong to their political party (the Republicans, meanwhile, are clueless buffoons and worse) so they are frantically trying to legalize millions of illegal immigrants so they can vote for Democrats.
Democrats are also always trying to give voting rights to convicted felons as well because they know felons will not only VOTE for Democrats but very likely already ARE Democrats. Plus the Democrats are always trying to lower the voting age to 16 because they know people that young are naïve enough to vote for Democrats.
But right now all that matters to America’s politicians and to Corporate Fascists like Mark “Skippy” Zuckerberg are illegal immigrants. Bloated rich pigs want to lower the median wage – plus recently Zuckerberg EXPRESSED DISMAY THAT – IN ONE AREA ALONE – OVER 750,000 JOBS THAT COULD HAVE GONE TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WILL INSTEAD GO TO AMERICAN CITIZENS. Oh, the horror of it all!
********************* Remember the victims of illegal immigrants – they and their loved ones are the people who really “live in the shadows.”
American Liberals like to pretend they are “compassionate” and “caring” but that pretended concern is very selective and goes only one way.
Grieving mother Maureen Maloney was one of the untold thousands of Americans to lose a loved one to people who illegally cross our border with Mexico and then go on to commit other crimes.
Maloney’s 23 year-old son Matthew was hit by a repeat-offending illegal alien drunk driver. Although Matthew survived the initial crash, he died as he was subsequently dragged a quarter of a mile—caught in the wheel well of the illegal alien’s pick up truck— as the alien sought to flee the crime scene. “Witnesses who saw [Matthew] pinned screaming under the truck ran out and pounded on the vehicle, crying out to the driver who kept going…'[Matthew] was alive for a good portion of it,’” wrote a correspondent.
American Liberals, who pretend to be so “caring” always ignore these frequent tragedies. They can’t exploit such events to fit their political narrative, you see, so they turn a blind eye to them. Had an American citizen struck an illegal immigrant and dragged them along, killing them in an attempt to flee, that Mexican’s name would be known worldwide now.
The Democratic Party (Slogan: “Oppressing others while posing as the oppressed”) would have launched one of its internet and social media memes about the incident. Democrats would go in front of the cameras to make political capital out of the death and for their usual drama queen antics.
The Party that represents illegal immigrants but NEVER American citizens. That would be so gauche.
American Liberals always practice this philosophy – “Something bad happened, so do what we say to do or else it means you are a hater.” They never care about people like this young man’s mother. Liberals will launch no hashtags about her son’s pointless death. There will be no Hollywood movies made about the tragedy.
Democrats love to whine “If it saves even one life …” about actions the Democrats want done but, trust me, they will NEVER say “If it saves even one life isn’t it worth it to FINALLY secure our southern border?”
Even Republicans like John Kasich have vowed to pursue amnesty to all illegal immigrants. Maureen Maloney’s public response was to ask Kasich to “visit the grave of my murdered child.” That will never happen of course. Instead, callous, comfortable and uncaring American Liberals prefer to accuse the citizens who mourn the dead victims of illegal immigrants of being (yawn) “racists” and “haters.”
If Maureen’s heart-breaking request for Kasich to visit her son’s grave furthered the narrative of the pro-illegal immigration crowd then, trust me, EVERY SINGLE ELECTED OFFICIAL would be forced to answer – over and over and over again – questions about what their own feelings are regarding the tragedy.
Virtually no attention is paid by our politicians to grieving families who have lost loved ones to murders committed by people who illegally crossed our (still unsecured) border with Mexico. Or those families who’ve had loved ones raped or assaulted by those illegal immigrants – and over 600,000 documented crimes have been committed by illegal immigrants in recent years.
Many of them committed by Mexican criminals WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN CAUGHT and either were not deported or were deported but simply strolled right back across our perpetually unsecured southern border. The victims of these repeat offenders and the loved ones of those victims are the people who REALLY “live in the shadows.” ++
(For overseas readers I’ll clarify that last line. Liberal hypocrites like to coyly – and publicly, of course – agonize on behalf of illegal immigrants. A line they’re fond of using is that those illegal immigrants are forced to “live in the shadows.” Uh. Yeah. Who’d have thought you might experience difficulties for making the conscious decision to enter a country illegally? Astonishing.)
