LIBERALS –
American Liberals have become incapable of appreciating art and literature. Instead they pompously and intolerantly dissect ancient works of visual and written art looking for nothing but (yawn) racism, sexism, white privilege, colonial narratives, “the male gaze” and all their other paranoid obsessions.
They have no appreciation for beauty in any form. American Liberals have no identity outside of their political opinions so when they ponder the magnificent creations of past geniuses they use it as an excuse to pat themselves on the back about how much more “enlightened” they consider themselves to be than the brilliant people who created those works.
It’s a very empty way to view the past and it’s also pointless. It’s only natural that people living in different time periods separated by a few hundred or a few thousand years WILL HAVE VERY DIFFERENT NOTIONS OF RIGHT AND WRONG.
And y’know what, Liberal snobs? People centuries from now will look back on YOUR value system and condemn it for not being the same as theirs. Do you really care if – long after you’re dead – pompous jackasses just like you sit around, sip wine and repeatedly reassure each other that they are morally superior to you?

THE NINJA GOD EN NO OZUNU
Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know that I consider all religions to be mythology, which people are usually fine with unless it’s their own personal religion I’m examining. At any rate En No Ozunu is revered as the founder and most active mythical figure in the belief system called Shugendo, and in some offshoot cults of Shugendo as a virtual patron deity of ninja practices and ancient weather forecasting.
Practitioners of the Shugendo faith are called Yamabushi and their belief system fuses elements of Shinto, Ainu, Buddhism and Taoism along with features of shamanism and the ancient Japanese reverence for mountains, all of which are considered sacred ground in Shugendo.
The ninja connection is very big in popular culture but actually the Ainu are more technically the originators of many ninjutsu practices. For an even bigger pop culture tie-in there are versions of the En No Ozunu myth in which he is the father of Sadako (Neil Sadako?), the female figure in the Ringu novel plus its Japanese and American film adaptations.

1. The Muslim World has been a violent mess since the 7th Century, so a lot of people need to stop pretending that Islamic nations were peaceful until the supreme ass George W Bush came along.
2. The Muslim World was running the African slave trade long before the Western World got involved in it, and that same Muslim World STILL practices slavery.

PELE AND HI’IAKA: EPIC OF HAWAII PART SIX
Balladeer’s Blog continues its examination of the grand and exciting Hawaiian epic about the goddesses Pele and Hi’iaka.
PART SIX
Fresh off her destruction of the gigantic shark-monster Maka’ukui, Hi’iaka led her two companions – the fern goddess Pa’u’o’pala’e and the mortal woman Wahine – as they renewed their quest to reach Kauai.
Their path next led them into the jungle around Waimanu where the monstrous creatures called the Mahiki terrorized the vicinity. The Mahiki were lizard-like creatures the size of horses and had legs like grasshoppers. These monsters could leap long distances to attack their prey, but had full human consciousness. OBAMA SLAPPED BY THE SUPREME COURT AGAIN
“If the working class doesn’t like me then I’ll just take their jobs away from them!”
Balladeer’s Blog is the only site on the web that truly criticizes Liberals and Conservatives equally. Barack Obama has AGAIN been slapped by the Supreme Court for overstepping his lawful authority. Twenty-seven of our fifty states (not fifty-seven, like Obama thinks we have) took the Hollow One’s latest attack on U.S. jobs to court.
The end result: Obama’s bizarre desires will NOT be enforced until the legality or illegality of his actions can be clarified. Little Barry’s dream was that his demented rules would be in effect until the court cases were over. The U.S. Supreme Court patiently explained once again to Obama about the limits of his office. THE TEXAS 27 FILM VAULT DEBUTED 31 YEARS AGO

Yes, it was Saturday February 9th, 1985 when “Film Vault Technicians First Class” Randy Clower, Richard Malmos and Ken “Tex” Miller went on the air with the very first episode of the legendary cult show called The Texas 27 Film Vault! Years before MST3K this program featured the members of the fictional Film Vault Corps – “the few, the proud, the sarcastic” – showing and wryly mocking some of the worst – or at least campiest – movies ever made, often preceded by episodes of old Republic or Columbia Serials like Radar Men from the Moon, Atom Man vs Superman and many others!
For the next few years Saturday nights in Texas and Oklahoma belonged to bad movies and serials, Film Vault Corps comedy sketches and interviews with figures like Vincent Price. At least for the 2 and 1/2 hours during which The Texas 27 Film Vault aired. Some of the other beloved figures from the program included Joe Riley (later famous for the cult tv show titled The Hypnotic Eye), Laurie Savino and Doug Bransom, the former Professor Cerberus himself!
Here’s Balladeer’s Blog’s look at that very first episode of The Texas 27 Film Vault, from way down on Level 31 in the Film Vault beneath Dallas, Texas. THE LEFT IS DRIVING AWAY SO MANY OF US
Here at Balladeer’s Blog I’ve written plenty about how I used to consider myself a Liberal back before the political left around the world decided to pursue their insane policy of “Islam: Right or Wrong.”
Prior to the 9-11 attacks it wasn’t unusual to have conversations with other left-leaning people about the problem with the Muslim World. Islam’s perpetual refusal to end slavery, to end its gender Apartheid, to stop trying to enforce Islamic taboos on all non-Muslims around the globe, etc were – and are – legitimate concerns for the global community.
After 9-11 the political left collectively dropped to their bellies and began crawling for Islam, twisting logic however they had to in order to depict Muslims as victims and as a “vulnerable” community despite their huge numbers worldwide.
