DAY ONE: GAME ONE – The 5 seeds – the OAKLAND CITY UNIVERSITY MIGHTY OAKS got things rolling with their game against the 4th seeded JUDSON UNIVERSITY EAGLES. After 2 scoreless Innings the Mighty Oaks made it a 1-0 game in the 3rd, then a 2-0 game in the 4th. The Eagles mustered just 1 run in the 9th Inning as Oakland City University secured the 2-1 upset. VOTE FRAUD IN CALIFORNIA CASE DEEPENS
“We feel that the dead should be called Metaphysically Challenged and be permitted to vote … for us, that is.”
*** Very sorry about all the political stuff lately but already since yesterday Los Angeles news has probed deeper and uncovered evidence that dead people’s names have been used TO VOTE FOR YEARS in EVERY COUNTY of California.
I will say again that the Democratic and Republican Parties treat us like they’re a hostile occupying force. Even as cynical as I am I thought the old corrupt days of political machines using dead people’s names to vote on a large scale were long gone.

### As if we needed any further proof that this has been going on for far too long, Los Angeles news has done an expose on the Democrats preparing to use the names of dead people on voting ballots. A vault containing hundreds was mentioned in the report and who knows how many “vaults” the sleazy Democrats have scattered around.
This report is additional evidence about where those late “now that we know how many votes our candidate needs HERE’S some additional ballot boxes we just, uh, found somewhere” con jobs originate.
### I don’t want to hear any more people from Canada whining about how their delicate little sensibilities are offended by the rough and tumble of American politics. Their PRIME MINISTER just manhandled a female politician in their House of Commons and shoved a male office-holder while saying “Get the fuck out of my way!”
Soooo get back to me when one of our Presidents behaves that way during a session of our Congress.

NCAA D2 WORLD SERIES CONTINUES
DAY FIVE: GAME ONE – The SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE UNIVERSITY PENMEN took the diamond against the FRANKLIN PIERCE UNIVERSITY RAVENS in this game. The Penmen grabbed a quick 1-0 lead in the 1st Inning only to see the Ravens tie the score at 1-1 in the 2nd. In the 5th Inning Southern New Hampshire University took an extended 4-2 advantage and rode that lead to a 4-3 victory. Pitcher Jake Walkinshaw picked up the win for the Penmen. Continue reading

MEDAL OF HONOR: A FEW RECIPIENTS FROM THE PHILIPPINE WAR
Memorial Day is fast approaching! It’s a day for remembering the people who go out and actually DO something and acknowledge their service along with the physical risks and the political abuse heaped upon them. In keeping with my blog’s theme of addressing items that slip through the cultural cracks I’m showcasing a few of the Congressional Medal of Honor winners from the neglected war fought in the Philippines from 1899 to 1902.
HIRAM BEARSS (Correct spelling) – This Captain won the Medal for his actions on November 17th,1901 during a battle at the confluence of the Sohotan and Cadacan Rivers in Samar. Bearss led his men in a surprise attack on the enemy positions in the fortified cliffs. Relying mostly on bamboo ladders the Captain and his troops drove their opposition from their entrenched positions, literally “charging uphill” against enemy fire.
They also had to contend with the countless booby-traps lining the hills, many of which had been in place since the Spanish- American War of 1898. Those deadly traps took the form of pits, poison- tipped spears, trip-sprung vine nets loaded down with literally tons of stones and many others. The opposition in the caves honeymooning the cliffs needed rooting out as well with various forms of death lurking around every twist and turn in the caverns. Continue reading

My item about Ainu deities has proven so successful here’s a quick take on three of the lesser deities from the Ainu pantheon, the three brothers named Seremak, Urespa and Usapki.
SEREMAK – The patron god of vigor, vitality and general physical fitness. He had a flattened belly (“Six-Pack abs of the Gods!”), nine pairs of wings and wielded a sword and a spear made of mugwort. Continue reading

EAST DISTRICT: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The MONROE (Rochester) COLLEGE TRIBUNES came in as champs of Region 203 while their opponents, the DEAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS, wore the Region 221 crown. This collision of title-holders turned out to be a very lopsided affair as the Tribunes opened up the proverbial can on the Bulldogs. FOOLKILLER 7: ROCKETEERS & INQUISITORS
ART ERROR: Foolkiller was drawn without his red hat-sash but with a cape (?) in this issue of Omega the Unknown.
Since the world remains crazed for super-heroes, Balladeer’s Blog’s “Script Doctoring” of Marvel’s handling of Foolkiller continues with Part Seven. FOR PART ONE OF THIS ARTICLE CLICK HERE
Out of storytelling necessity most of the attention was off of Foolkiller last time around. This time it’s back to further hints about his mysterious Purification Gun and the unusual material his costume is made of. Plus some evidence that having a more positive outlet for his violent tendencies has stabilized his mind in other areas.
