CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: The top seeds – the TENNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS – clashed with the 6th seeded SAINT THOMAS UNIVERSITY BOBCATS (should be the Tomcats) for the NAIA title. A 1-0 1st Inning edge for the Bulldogs became a 2-0 lead in the 3rd.
By the end of the 6th Inning the Tennessee Wesleyan College advantage had expanded to 6-1. The only other Run scored the rest of the way came from the Bobcats in the 7th Inning as the Bulldogs won the game 6-2. Cole Bellair was the triumphant Pitcher. * THE BULLDOGS ARE CHAMPIONS OF NAIA BASEBALL *

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: The last two teams standing in this World Series were the 5th seeded NORTHERN OKLAHOMA COLLEGE AT ENID JETS and the 3 seeds – the MESA COLLEGE THUNDERBIRDS. After 2 scoreless Innings the Thunderbirds went up 2-0 in the 3rd.
The 4th Inning saw the Jets go on top 3-2, and in the 5th Inning a 4-4 deadlock resulted. Northern Oklahoma College at Enid drove in a Run in the top of the 9th and rode it to a 5-4 victory for Pitcher Brandon Hudson. * THE JETS ARE CHAMPIONS OF NJCAA DIVISION TWO BASEBALL *

DAY ONE, GAME ONE: The UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS AT BOSTON BEACONS took the diamond against the WEBSTER UNIVERSITY GORLOKS. Neither team scored in the first 2 Innings, following which the 3rd ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Gorloks grabbed a 3-1 lead in the 4th Inning but by the 7th the Beacons had knotted things up again, this time at 3-3. A UMass-Boston Run in the 8th Inning held up as the Beacons triumphed 4-3 behind the pitching of Bobby Tramondozzi. Continue reading
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: The 3 seeds – the CUMBERLAND COUNTY COLLEGE DUKES – faced the top seeded ROWAN COLLEGE AT GLOUCESTER COUNTY ROADRUNNERS. The Dukes put the Roadrunners on Upset Alert immediately by grabbing a 6-0 lead in the 1st Inning.
FIRST SEMIFINAL: This game pitted the 2nd seeded UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS against the top seeds – the TENNESSEE WESLEYAN COLLEGE BULLDOGS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the Drovers seized a 2-0 lead in the 2nd.
DAY FOUR, GAME ONE: The first of three elimination games pitted the 5 seeds – the GEORGIA GWINNETT COLLEGE GRIZZLIES – against the 9th seeded BELLEVUE (NE) UNIVERSITY BRUINS. The Grizzlies took charge right away, grabbing a 3-0 1st Inning lead that became a 4-1 advantage in the 4th.
DAY THREE, GAME ONE: The 3 seeds – the Defending National Champion SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE – took the diamond against the 8th seeded INDIANA TECH WARRIORS (should be the Hoplites). After 2 scoreless Innings the Warriors went up 2-0 in the 3rd.
DAY THREE, GAME TWO: In this game the 6th seeded SAINT THOMAS UNIVERSITY BOBCATS faced the 2 seeds – the UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & ARTS OF OKLAHOMA DROVERS. A 2-2 tie in the 2nd Inning became a 4-2 Bobcats edge in the 3rd.
DAY TWO, ONLY GAME PLAYED: The IOWA WESTERN COLLEGE REIVERS took on the CONNORS STATE COWBOYS. A 1-1 2nd Inning tie exploded into a 10-2 Reivers lead in the 3rd.
DAY TWO, GAME ONE: The 7 seeds – the NORTHEAST (NE) COLLEGE HAWKS – did battle with the 10th seeded MONROE (Rochester) COLLEGE TRIBUNES. Neither of these teams could stop the other from scoring for the first several Innings and by the end of the 5th the Tribunes were on top 11-9.
DAY TWO, GAME TWO: The 3rd seeded MESA COLLEGE THUNDERBIRDS clashed with the 6 seeds – the LINCOLN LAND COLLEGE LOGGERS. After 3 scoreless Innings the Thunderbirds went up 1-0 in the 4th.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: The 5 seeds – the CONCORDIA (MI) UNIVERSITY CARDINALS – played the 3rd seeded WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS in the Championship Game of the NCCAA World Series. After 2 scoreless Innings the Cardinals eked out a 1-0 edge in the 3rd.
FIRST SEMIFINAL: This game pitted the 3 seeds – the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS – against the top seeded SOUTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES. A 1-1 tie in the 1st Inning became a 3-2 Royals lead in the 3rd.
The 7 seeds – the COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS BOBCATS – won two games yesterday. In Game One of Day Two they took on the 6th seeded TRINITY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TROLLS. A 2-0 2nd Inning lead for the Bobcats became a 2-1 game by the 4th. Both teams’ bats caught fire the final 3 Innings but College of the Ozarks won it 10-6 behind Pitcher Bryce Burtless.
The top seeded SOUTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES took the diamond against the 9 seeds – the ECCLESIA COLLEGE ROYALS – in the 4th game of the day. A 1-1 tie in the opening Inning became a 2-1 Eagles lead in the 2nd. The 5th Inning saw the Royals go up 3-2 before SCU knotted the score at 3-3 in the 7th. From there the Eagles won the game 5-4 for Pitcher Hayden Woolsey.
The 2nd seeded BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS likewise went 2-0 in Pool Play on Wednesday. In Game Four the Rambling Rams battled the 7 seeds – the COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS BOBCATS. The 9th Inning ended with the teams deadlocked at 5-5. Neither team scored in the 10th but in the 11th Bluefield College edged the Bobcats 6-5. Kody Gardere threw for the win.
