Welcome back to Balladeer’s Blog! As always I’m coming to you from a planet of 7.6 billion people, 10 billion blogs and about 20 billion political poses.
Okay, so I’m exaggerating a bit, but I genuinely feel that as many people as possible should dabble in blogging for at least a little while. It feels great to have an outlet for your creativity, even if you make it accessible only to people you know personally.
Plus the more you get used to the ins and outs of how the internet actually works the more it helps you resist those instances of “artificial consensus” that generate spontaneously … or not so spontaneously, really.
Running a blog will give you access to an on-line dashboard which lets you see how many of the commenters who try to argue with you are really the same person using multiple fake names to make it look like a lot of people disagree with you. And that’s just ONE instance of the relentless fakery involved in internet communications, especially where controversial topics are concerned.
For all the years I’ve been writing Balladeer’s Blog I’ve been telling people to stop letting themselves be fooled into thinking that a mob of people who disagree with their opinion just naturally materialize. Fanatics with no life, fakers pushing a particular agenda, sock puppets and programmed bots are often involved.
Such obsessed loons spend most of their time filing complaints or hitting the “report abuse” button every time someone beats them in an argument. Such people also try to play with every word that is written by people they don’t agree with, just so they can pretend that splitting hairs over an irrelevant choice of wording means that the other person is “lying” or “wrong.”
“Discredited” and “debunked” are two other words that are misunderstood – intentionally or not – by ankle-biting little pricks who think they are great debaters but are really just barely adequate proof-readers.
POSTING A LINK to an article that these people feel supports their argument is NOT “proof” but too many people are easily intimidated and are bulldozed into believing that it is. The item the trolls have linked to can be picked apart using the same methods that the trolls themselves use.
Facebook in particular is a magnet for such hilariously pompous people. Twitter is at least as bad. Anyone looking for truly rigorous debates that are not ultimately rigged by dishonest people at those sites should seek out alternatives. Gab.ai is just one example. Continue reading
Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know that I’m an atheist but there is no denying that Islam – the religion founded by the blood-soaked child rapist named Muhammad – is the most homophobic, misogynistic and otherwise intolerant religion in the world right now.
The more that the forces of conformity try to browbeat all of us into pretending President Trump is not doing a wonderful job for the working class and the poor the more fun it is to see more and more people stop humoring them and begin pushing back. 
TRUMP CARD ONE: De facto Third Party President Donald Trump’s FAKE NEWS AWARDS were terrific! He is one man alone against America’s cesspool of corruption which INCLUDES the corporate media. 
TRUMP CARD FOUR: Republican trash like Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush and all the stuffy white males at National Review continue proving President Trump’s status as a de facto Third Party President. The Paul Ryans and Lindsey Grahams of the world apparently don’t like the way Trump attracts so many voters of color. I guess they want the Republicans to go back to being the party of Boring White Clowns In Suits.

FRANCE’S BRIGADE OF MOTHERS CONTINUES EXPOSING NO-GO AREAS IN THE FRENCH SUBURBS – The Brigade of Mothers continue doing the work that most Western “feminists” are afraid of doing: exposing the way that Muslim males impose 7th Century restrictions on women in the No-Go Areas that Western “journalists” like to pretend don’t exist. 
A CONSEQUENTIAL PRESIDENT IN A TIME OF PYGMIES was a terrific piece which examined hundreds of ways that our de facto Third Party President Donald Trump has undone some of the damage done to the working class and the poor by the weak, inept and crooked little man named Barack Obama. 
MEANWHILE, DAN FROM SQUIRREL HILL maintained his list of roughly 1,400 instances of Obama’s lies and outright scandals. 
DEMOCRATS LOVE VOTE FRAUD – As always, my emphasis on Democrat wrongdoing is NOT an endorsement of the Republican Party, it’s just that there’s no lack of negative coverage of the Republicans. The Democrat media tries to sweep their party’s misdeeds under the rug. 
Democrat Andrew J Spiele in Virginia pleaded GUILTY to the still-frequent Democrat crime of submitting the names of dead people as Democrat voters to the Registrar’s Office. Spiele is just a small player, however. Bigger criminals like Hillary Clinton still walk the streets.

I still support gay marriage because I think marriage is anything that a society decides that marriage is, but I no longer bother spouting off that I support it because it’s no longer daring to do so. Considering the fact that people actually get in trouble for OPPOSING gay marriage now means we’ve reached the point where it’s mere virtue signaling to drone on and on about supporting it. 
JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS COUNTER-INTUITIVE IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN IT IS “DEEP” OR “INTELLECTUAL.”
