ANTIFA HATE GROUP SETS FIRE TO PORTLAND FEDERAL BUILDING WITH EMPLOYEES INSIDE

Antifa is that youYes, the misleadingly named Antifa (really KLANtifa) continues to riot. Saturday night roughly one hundred members of the fascist hate group set fire to a federal building in Portland with employees still inside. (link below) In March, Antifa set fire AGAIN to the Federal Courthouse in Portland.

LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES AND FASCISM

Mascot with demo and repub headsIt’s been quite awhile since one of Balladeer’s Blog’s “Liberals and Conservatives and …” items, largely because of how increasingly outdated and irrelevant the labels Liberal and Conservative have become in recent years.

Regular readers know that I get attacked by both left-wingers and right-wingers since I refuse to play along with their silly “shirts versus skins” thinking which dictates you MUST declare yourself part of either the left or the right even though we can all see what a monumental mess that divisive thinking has resulted in.

More and more of us adults have accepted that a combination of supposedly “left-wing” and supposedly “right-wing” approaches to life is far more constructive than the shrill, “strictly one or the other” partisanship practiced in the past.

The people who still pretend to be “Liberals” though their worldview has NOTHING to do with liberty and EVERYTHING to do with imposing taboos have run rings around the people who still pretend to be “Conservatives.” One of the false notions pushed by the left-wing Archie Bunkers of the 1960s generation is that fascism is purely a product of right-wing fanaticism when it is really a product of fanaticism from either end of the political spectrum.

mascot new look donkey and elephant headsEven the meaning of the word fascism comes from fasces, the ancient symbol involving a bundle of rods or sticks with an axe-head protruding from them. From there the axe-head was largely dropped and fascii (plural) from then on referred to the bundle of rods or sticks.

The sticks gave way to arrows in some imagery, like the infamous “Yoke and the Arrows” of the Falangists in the Spanish Civil War. The overall message of the clump or bundle of sticks remained the same as it had been for centuries: one stick (or for more dramatic impact, one arrow) could be easily broken. Together in a bundle the multiple sticks could NOT be easily broken.

This has always been the grotesque appeal and the message of fascism no matter which side of the political spectrum practices its ugliness: one lone, otherwise insignificant person can be easily broken, but TOGETHER, many otherwise insignificant people cannot be easily broken. That description applies to fascist groups all the way up through the present-day gang which is ironically called Antifa (the biggest fascists of the moment).  Continue reading →

POTENTIAL TITLES FOR PROGRAMS CENTERED AROUND A FASCIST TWERP

Democrats love to exploit tragedies

Democrats love to exploit young people and tragedies.

David Hogg, famous for standing on the dead bodies of the Parkland victims, has become beloved by the Democrats of the American media because of his willingness to act like he and he alone speaks for the dead.

As Democrats did with Cindy Sheehan, they’ve pretended this hate-spewing white child of privilege is not to be disputed. Which of course, makes it even MORE fun to point out what a fascist creep he comes across as. 

Here’s a look at the kind of television shows I could picture someone like this starring in (All shows are fictional): 

BOSS HOGG – (Public Affairs) A spoiled young fascist rants and raves about his childish worldview while claiming his parents “don’t know how to use Democracy.” 

David Hogg Political cartoonHOGG FUTURES – (Science Fiction) A young fascist presents a series of scenarios depicting the kind of Fascist dictatorship he wants to live in, and reveals what kind of fates he would have in store for political dissidents. Especially the ones who question if he was even in school on the day of the Parkland shootings.   

ATTENTION HOGG – (Bio-Drama) Through songs and interpretive dance, a tale is told about a teenage fascist pissing on the dead victims of a tragedy and then capitalizing on the attention his antics brought him. As of this writing David Hogg has not commented on whether of not he thinks this character is based on him.  

THE SERMON ON THE MOUND OF CORPSES – (Movie) Telefilm about how American demagogues cynically exploit the drama queen antics of a young fascist named Derek Pigg. A veritable nationwide Passion Play of sorts unfolds as the media indulges in non-stop hysteria while sanctifying shrill teens who say what the Democrats want them to say. This movie raises questions about who is more to blame: conscienceless adult trash in the media or youngsters who have learned that the quickest, easiest way to cheap attention is to imitate the attitudes of the conscienceless adult trash in the media.    Continue reading →

MUSLIM ATROCITY ROUNDUP: AUGUST 10th

MUSLIM VIOLENCE AWARENESS YEAR CONTINUES.

Islam and the leftEven though there are plenty of Muslims who want to reform their religion and live peacefully the Democrats in the U.S. and Labour in the U.K. SHUN those Muslims. To the Democrats and Labour the ONLY Muslims who are even allowed to speak at college campuses are the ones who hate the Western World. The others are banned as “Western Triumphalists” who have “internalized Western oppression.” 

At any rate here are just a FEW of the most recent atrocities boasted about by the Muslim fascists that Democrat and Labour voters LOVE.

July 25th: Barno Yasu, Nigeria – Muslim fascists ambushed and killed SIXTY-NINE innocent people and injured over 10 more.

July 21st: Marawi, Philippines – Islamofascists used car-bombs and hand grenades to kill 9 innocent people and injure FORTY-NINE more.  

Islamophobia posterJuly 24th: Lahore, Pakistan – Yes, Pakistan is a Muslim nation but where Islam is concerned the violence NEVER stops. Muslim fascists constantly kill OTHER MUSLIMS FOR WORSHIPPING DIFFERENTLY THAN THEY DO. This is in store for all Western nations, too, if Democrats, Labour, etc have their way.

Anyway, on this date in Lahore, Muslim fascist suicide bombers killed TWENTY-SIX of their fellow Muslims and injured FIFTY-EIGHT more.

THESMOPHORIAZUSAE (circa 411 B.C.): ANCIENT GREEK COMEDY

This comedy by Aristophanes was one that I was planning on covering very soon when I started posting my reviews of Attic Old Comedy a few years ago. For various reasons it kept falling by the wayside even though its subject matter was surprisingly relevant to ongoing controversies here in present day America, especially on college campuses.   

THE TITLE

The title Thesmophoriazusae has been rendered in different ways over the centuries – as Thesmophoria Women (the most literal translation), as Women Celebrating the Thesmophoria, and even as The Poet and the Women. 

The Thesmophoria was an annual festival in ancient Greece, a festival that marked the myth about the goddess Demeter’s descent into the Netherworld to rescue her daughter Persephone, who had been stolen away by Hades, the god who ruled over the land of the dead. The festival was reserved for women only and was their version of the male initiation rites performed at all-male festivals.

The female celebrants lived in tents on the hill called the Pnyx for the three days of the Thesmophoria, which took place around the time of the autumn crop-sowing.

THE PREMISE  

The premise of Thesmophoriazusae hits so close to home in these days of the repulsive Political Correctness Police that the seeming unlikelihood of it was one of the reasons I kept postponing my examination of it. Its storyline has always seemed to me like it was lifted straight from accounts of any of the countless pro-censorship rallies mounted by various groups of perpetually offended fools on campuses across the country. Free Speech has been under assault by both Liberals and Conservatives in recent decades. There was a time when Liberals actively supported freedom of expression because they understood it was THE primary freedom from which all other freedoms flowed. The early figures from my own country’s history protected speech with the FIRST Amendment to the Constitution because they knew all too well that ideas that are considered taboo and offensive today might be considered essential truths by future generations.

The repulsive 1960s generation of American Liberals were all about Free Speech when THEIR ideas were the ones offending people. Once they considered themselves to be comfortably in the cultural, educational and political driver’s seat by the early 1990s they decided they wanted their own already outdated worldview enshrined in stone and presented as THE one true set of values.

They became the Political Correctness Police and anyone who offended their 1960s attitudes had to be silenced because – as they knew so well from their own experience – when controversial ideas are given the room to breathe they can often thrive. The totalitarian asses of the 1960s can’t bear the fact that younger people might have opinions that offend THEM as much as their opinions offended their parents’ generation.

SPIKED-Online.com is launching a FREE SPEECH NOW campaign in recognition of the fact that, all around the world similar assaults on Freedom of Expression are being made. If Muslims are offended they want the offensive material banned, if authoritarian regimes like the one in China are offended they want the offensive material banned, and on and on it goes. Considering that the more easily offended someone is the less intelligent they tend to be I find it amazing that Politically Correct censorship has thrived the way it has.

SPIKED-Online.com’s opening post in this campaign even quotes Spinoza’s wonderful line “Every man should think what he likes and say what he thinks.” That still rings true because no matter what the hypersensitive fools who want to censor the rest of us find offensive NONE of them has the right to try to extinguish one single product of the human mind.

Here at Balladeer’s Blog I deal with these issues on a daily basis. Just about everything I write offends either left-wing fanatics or right-wing fanatics or religious fanatics. So, in the spirit of freedom of expression no matter whose delicate little sensibilities are offended (including – GASP – African- Americans) I will link to Spiked-Online.com’s post and would certainly encourage anyone else who creates in any way to join me in doing so.
