Pistol Pete
PISTOL PETE – Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton was another of those real-life figures that some people mistakenly think are fictional characters. The elementary alliteration and the association of the name Pistol Pete with the mascot of the Oklahoma State University sports teams are part of the reason. That mascot was named after and was designed to look like the real-life Pistol Pete.
Eaton was a man who LIVED what would eventually become a cliche of Wild West fiction: the quest for revenge over the murder of a loved one, no matter how many years it takes.
In 1868 young Frank was eight years old and living with his parents in Twin Mounds, Kansas. Frank’s father had served in the Union Army during the Civil War and was being harassed by several former Confederate Army men who had ridden with Quantrill’s Raiders for a time. Raizo Ichikawa as the red-haired Samurai Kyoshiro Nemuri, the Son of the Black Mass.
Balladeer’s Blog resumes its examination of various Samurai films from Japan. In keeping with my blog’s overall theme I won’t be covering the uber-popular Samurai flicks like Yojimbo, The Seven Magnificent Samurai or the Musashi Miyamoto Trilogy. Regular readers who are familiar with my contempt for organized religion will not be at all surprised that I’ll be starting out with the Son of the Black Mass series of films starring Raizo Ichikawa, often called “the James Dean of Japan.”
In addition to the twelve Ichikawa movies I will also cover the two entries in the series made after Raizo’s untimely death from cancer. After that, to be a fully comprehensive look, I will also examine the original novels as well as the three Son of the Black Mass movies made in the 1950’s, even though they did not have the cinematic impact of the films starring Raizo Ichikawa.
The odd title of the movie series comes from the fact that the title character, former Samurai turned Ronin Kyoshiro Nemuri, is the child of a Japanese woman and the crazed Portugese Christian missionary who raped her. The insane missionary was dabbling in Satanism and Nemuri was conceived during a Black Mass ritual, hence the series title. The deadly swordsman inherited his hated father’s red hair and when a heavy rain washed out the black dye Nemuri was disguising it with, his exposure as a half-breed led to his shunning and his fallen status. That item regards their pompous belief that they are High Priests and Priestesses of Racial Awareness sitting in judgment on everyone else. Trust me, you self-important fools, out in the REAL world – not the prolonged adolescence of the “academic” (LMFAO) world that you hide in – we adults of different races and different religions have been getting along peacefully for quite a long time.
None of us have ever sat around saying to ourselves “Boy, I’ll bet the pretentious asses of the academic world would be just ever so proud of all of us for getting along like we do!” We don’t fixate on race like you hatemongers do. In workplaces unafflicted by large numbers of hypersensitive fools we treat each other as HUMAN BEINGS, a foreign concept to you secular clergy members.

Apparently the fact that I’m clearly not a Conservative causes America’s Left-Wing Archie Bunkers to get REALLY upset over my criticism of them. They’re used to pretending that only right-wingers criticize them and fall to pieces when confronted with reality. Rather than waste time replying to them all one by one I’ve compiled this FAQ with me paraphrasing the questions that Left-Wing Archie Bunkers ask.
Q: We 1960s generation left-wingers who have spent our lives in the prolonged adolescence of the academic world consider ourselves to be all-wise people who know more than anyone else does. Why do you call us Left-Wing Archie Bunkers?
A: Because you are relics of a time when the Western World was long past due for some collective introspection and reevaluation. FIVE DECADES have passed since then, however, and we are now in a period when the Muslim World is long past due for some collective introspection and reevaluation. Your generation refuses to EVER consider the possibility that people outside of the Western World could be in the wrong on any given issue.
Like the fictional Archie Bunker you dinosaurs reflexively lapse into the attitudes of your younger years and fail to face the realities of a changing world.

Q: But if all that is true then how come a lot of people in their teens and twenties agree with us … well, at least until they grow up.
A: Because of the way that the members of your generation who gravitated to the educational field abused – and continue to abuse – their teaching positions to inflict their stagnant and increasingly outdated worldview on their students. Then those students went on to do the same, even repeating the 60s generation’s ugly belief that the role of a teacher is to browbeat their pupils with what they consider to be “the proper political opinions.”
This distorted the educational system, which needs to be an arena for young minds to be guided toward a multitude of ideas. Like the worst political regimes in history you Left-Wing Archie Bunkers have instead made it a realm of conformity and mindless dogma.
You repeatedly snivel about how supposedly close-minded the generation before yours was but the truth is IF they had been as close-minded and intolerant in the educational field as YOUR generation and your students have turned out to be your political notions would have been suffocated in the 60s. Too bad you pompous hypocrites refuse to show the same courtesy to younger generations. Instead you want all new ideas to die still-born if they challenge your prejudices.
Just as your generation distorted the educational system you also distorted Liberalism into a political philosophy that is critical ONLY of the Western World. Every victim of the ever-bolder Muslim fascist movements around the globe can be partially laid at your door because of the way you Left-Wing Archie Bunkers and your younger 1960s wannabe’s insist on crippling any effort to criticize Muslim intolerance. This is why so many of us have stopped calling ourselves Liberals. We do not want to be associated with you gutless hypocrites in any way, shape or form. It does NOT make us Conservatives.

Frontierado is Friday, August 5th!
SALLY SKULL – Sara Jane Newman, the future Sally Skull, was born in Illinois in 1817. In 1823 her family moved to Fayette County in Texas, which was then part of the area that Mexico had seized from Native Americans.
Like all the other ranch families in the area, whether from Mexico or the U.S., Sally and her family lived a rough life managing their land and surviving periodic assaults from the American Indians in the area. Sally killed her first man – an attacking Indian, when she was 11, using a rifle. At age 12 Sally was proficient with all firearms and provided plenty of food for the family table by hunting.
In 1831 Sally’s father died and she began running the ranch for her grieving mother, even registering her father’s old brand in her own name. 1833 saw the 16 year old married to a Texas Ranger named Jess Robinson and settled in Gonzalez, TX, still part of Mexico.
Over the next 10 years, as Texans rebelled against the tyrannical Mexican government and broke away to form their own Republic, Sally and Jess had 2 children who survived – a son and daughter. In 1843 the couple divorced and 11 days later Sally married a gunsmith named George Skull (or Scull), whose last name she would keep throughout all her future marriages. Continue reading

MOHAMED Lahouaiej Bouhlel was the latest Muslim to indulge in the Muslim fanatic sacraments of killing and killing and killing. It’s no secret that Islam is the most blood-soaked and intolerant religion in the world right now. It’s also no secret that the political left in the Western World shoulders most of the blame for the failure to adequately address the ongoing conflict.
Democrats in America, the Labour Party in the U.K. and other political parties run by left-wing Archie Bunkers STILL persist in their delusion that the Muslim World was never violent until that supreme ass George W Bush came along. Far too many have died to soothe the vanity of dinosaurs from the 1960s who haven’t allowed an original thought to enter their increasingly senile minds for FIVE DECADES.
Wow, who could have guessed the killer’s name would be Mohamed?
And far too many of us have had the misfortune of having instructors who either ARE or WERE TAUGHT BY those same pretentious asses from the 1960s. The best of the 60s generation moved on to the real world. The most narrow-minded of them stayed in the “academic” (LMFAO) world and inflicted their political prejudices on impressionable young minds.
Barack Obama, who STILL cannot face reality, was TAUGHT BY 1960s generation Archie Bunkers. Hillary Clinton and John Kerry ARE 1960s generation Archie Bunkers. In the smug, impenetrable minds of these backward fools seems to lie the belief that everything will unfold the exact same way it did when they were younger. I swear these self-infatuated jackasses still believe that it will all turn out that Muslim fanatics are just misunderstood and that we’ll all one day realize that the people of the Western World are the REAL villains.
