MAY 6TH RESULTS FROM THE USCAA COLLEGE WORLD SERIES

Yesterday was Day One of the College World Series in the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association). Spalding, the 2012 champions, did not make the World Series field of 10 teams this year so there will definitely be a new title holder when all is said and done.

The Bulldogs are no strangers to the postseason and took the 2011 World Series championship in the USCAA. The Builders took them down in a 2-1 Instant Classic.

ONE LAST ROUND OF CONGRATULATIONS FOR THIS YEAR’S COLLEGE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS

With the College World Series’ over now in all the divisions Balladeer’s Blog covers let’s offer a final round of congratulations to this year’s champions. In a way it was The Year of the Eagle since that nickname (one of the most monotonously overused in college sports) is sported by no less than three of the title winners.
