THE ARLINGTON CEMETERY HOAX AGAINST TRUMP MASTERFULLY DECONSTRUCTED BY STATELY MCDANIEL MANOR

trump at arlingtonThe Democrats and their media outlets, which still drastically outnumber Republican outlets, have been increasing the number of hysterical anti-Trump lies lately. Anyone who still believes anti-Trump tall tales at this point is a Trump-hater who simply WANTS to believe the falsehoods.

At any rate, fellow blogger Stately McDaniel Manor did a brilliant breakdown on the lies that anti-Trump fascists told about his Arlington Cemetery visit. The Democrats’ media outlets tried to paint it in an ugly light, but the families of the slain soldiers DEFENDED TRUMP all the way.

Below is a link to Stately McDaniel Manor‘s blog post but first an excerpt setting up the story:

On the third anniversary of their deaths, Donald Trump participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery for the 13 soldiers killed during the unnecessary and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. It was a largely solemn occasion, attended by Trump and the families of those who died after Kamala Harris and Joe Biden decided on a course of action that produced the most humiliating and disastrous military debacle in memory.  Harris, you’ll recall, gentle readers, repeatedly said she was “the last person in the room” when that course of action was decided, and she has no regrets.  To find every article in this series, enter “Kamala Harris Against America” in to the SMM home page search bar.

“One would think that would be the story, but Harris’ handlers and the Democrat/Socialist/Communist (D/S/C) media saw an opportunity to dirty Trump.  They claimed the photos taken at that ceremony were improper, a political stunt, taken only after a Trump Campaign member got into a physical confrontation with an Arlington official who tried to uphold the sanctity of Arlington, where no filming is supposedly allowed.

“That didn’t hold up long.  Innumerable politicians and others have been photographed at Arlington, including Joe Biden, for such ceremonies, and those present confirmed no such confrontation took place.”

Exactly! And for the rest of Stately McDaniel Manor’s breakdown of the manufactured “controversy” click HERE.

BALLADEER’S BLOG: WNBA RESULTS

CENTURY CLUB – The INDIANA FEVER (17-16) took it on the road against the DALLAS WINGS (9-24).

A 23-19 1st Quarter lead for Dallas became a mere 46-45 edge by Halftime. The Fever were still chasing their opponents 74-70 to end the 3rd Quarter, but they roared from behind in the 4th to win the game by a Century Club score of 100-93. Kelsey Mitchell’s THIRTY-SIX points led Indiana, while teammate CAITLIN CLARK logged a Double Double of 28 points and 12 assists.

WELCOME TO UNCASVILLE – The CONNECTICUT SUN (24-9) hosted the SEATTLE STORM (20-13) at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.

At the Half the Sun were on top of Seattle by a score of 42-34. After the break, Connecticut kept the Storm at arm’s length on their way to a 93-86 victory. Twenty-six points from Brionna Jones led the way for the Sun.  Continue reading

A VOYAGE INTO TARTARY (1689) ANCIENT SCIENCE FICTION

a voyage into tartaryA VOYAGE INTO TARTARY (1689) – The real author of this work is unknown. It is a fictional encounter with a lost race, advanced technology and more. It’s possible that the writer wanted anonymity due to his then-blasphemous attitudes toward religion.

Ostensibly the travel memoirs of Heliogenes de L’Epy, A Voyage into Tartary details the author’s desire to experience the world first-hand and his subsequent expedition to the east. He and his companions visit Rome and Naples, then Athens and Constantinople.

From there the expedition proceeds further inland, where various calamities rob L’Epy of his fellow travelers. He struggles onward and luckily stumbles upon the isolated city of Heliopolis, located near what we in the 21st Century know as Samarkand.  Continue reading

LABOR DAY LOOK AT THE “LABORS” OF SAMSON

Happy Labor Day! And yes, I know it’s traditionally the Labors of Hercules, but last week’s blog post about silent film versions of the Samson saga got me thinking. I decided to put together a brief look at the various deeds of Samson from different sources.

*** Covering the distance between Zorah and Eshtaol in a single leap.

*** Uprooting two “mighty” trees with his massive strength.

*** Moving two formerly separate mountains together to form one single “new” mountain. Continue reading

HAS TO BE SAID: SEPTEMBER 1st

Here’s the latest “Has to be Said” post from Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog.

HERE IN 2024 DEMOCRATS HAVE PROVEN THAT AS FOOLISH AS THE SENTIMENT “MY COUNTRY, RIGHT OR WRONG” MAY BE, THE SENTIMENT “OUR POLITICAL PARTY, RIGHT OR WRONG” IS FAR MORE FOOLISH AND DESTRUCTIVE. Democrats have no individual opinions. They are so insecure and so incapable of defending their opinions that they constantly take shelter in the Hivemind, parroting the talking points of The Party no matter how irrational or intolerant.

DEMOCRATS WANT A COUNTRY IN WHICH ONLY THEIR OPINIONS ARE LEGAL. The fascists called American Democrats conjure up reasons why EVERY opinion they spout must never be challenged or else it’s Hate Speech. Weaselly Democrats will pretend to find that remark unfounded, but it’s not.

Go ahead, Democrats. Tell me one or two opinions of yours that you will NOT dogmatically and intolerantly consider above any counter-arguments or rebuttal.

Transing children?  Nope. Democrat fascists insist that disagreeing is “transphobic” and arguing against it is “hatred.” The ridiculous Democrat claim that people who aren’t white aren’t capable of racism? Nope. Democrat fascists insist that disagreeing with such nonsense is “racist”. The Democrat belief that if a man pretends he is a woman then anyone who points out that having a penis and/or XY chromosomes proves that false should be censored, censured and, increasingly, have the authorities sicced on them. Nope. Democrats want all dissent erased.

I could go on and on with this list of absurd Democrat statements that, if challenged, they want the challenger censored, fired and sometimes driven out of entire professions. But go ahead, Democrat fascists, provide one of your opinions that you will tolerate disagreement with and not try to deplatform – or worse – people who disagree. Democrats mistake successfully censoring someone with “being in the right.” Continue reading

COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM AUGUST 31st

NOTE: After this holiday weekend I’ll go back to football posts ONLY ONE DAY A WEEK for you readers who aren’t into sports. I’ll relocate WNBA coverage to just one separate weekday as well.

NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics)

Benedictine RavensDOWN GOES NUMBER TEN – The 19th ranked BENEDICTINE COLLEGE RAVENS played the number 10 MORNINGSIDE UNIVERSITY MUSTANGS in their own house. The 1st Quarter ended with the Ravens up 21-3, and they would need all those points. The Mustangs pulled to within 28-17 at the Half and 35-30 in the 3rd Quarter before Benedictine held on in the 4th to win it 48-45.

CUMBERLAND ON THE ROAD – The CUMBERLAND UNIVERSITY PHOENIX traveled to face the MISSOURI BAPTIST UNIVERSITY SPARTANS. The opening Half of this game was deceptive as the Phoenix led by a score of 28-3 by the midpoint. After the break, the Spartans made it a whole different game, pulling to within 28-25 to end the 3rd Quarter, but Cumberland U. held on in the 4th for a 35-28 win.

UNDER THE RADAR THRILLER – This game pitted the AVILA UNIVERSITY AVALANCHE (now the Eagles) against the visiting BETHANY COLLEGE SWEDES. The Avalanche seized a quick 7-0 1st Quarter lead, following which neither team scored again until after the break. The Swedes tied things up at 7-7 in the 3rd Quarter, and an action-packed 4th saw Avila triumph 24-21.  Continue reading

THE SPIRIT AND HIS GREATEST VILLAINS

This weekend’s light-hearted, escapist superhero post from Balladeer’s Blog will look at Will Eisner’s iconic superhero the Spirit.

dolan and spiritSuperheroes have been huge in pop culture in recent decades. Will Eisner’s iconic superhero the Spirit – who debuted in June of 1940 – rose from the grave of his secret identity, Private Investigator Denny Colt, after his apparent death when he got saturated in some chemicals of the supervillain Doctor Cobra.

Fan arguments still rage over whether or not the Spirit had any superpowers beyond his initial chemically-induced state of suspended animation which let him survive and rise from his grave days later. I’m of the school of thought that says the Spirit DID have superpowers, largely because I grow bored with alleged “super” heroes who are just regular shlubs who slap on a costume and fight crime. To me that’s more of a Pulp hero.

I don’t think it’s outrageous to attribute paranormal abilities to the Spirit. Just going by Will Eisner’s original stories let’s approach it this way:

spirit boundGREATER THAN HUMAN STRENGTH – Taking this hero’s origin story at face value with no ret-conning necessary, when Denny Colt came to in his coffin he dug his way to the surface. It would require much more than the strength of a normal human to burst through the coffin lid AND force his way upward through six feet of soil. For all I know The Big Bang Theory guys may have once done a calculation on how much actual strength it would take to accomplish this feat.

EXTRAORDINARY RESILIENCY/ HEALING ABILITY – Early Spirit stories often show his body taking the kind of punishment that no non-powered human being could survive. The villains occasionally point out how impossible it is that the hero just keeps coming after all the damage they inflict on him. And again, taking his 1940 origin at face value his body would have had to have “healed” from the invasive procedures of embalming or similar treatments, before he woke up in his coffin.

Many fans feel that Frank Miller’s 2008 movie The Spirit took that too far by making his durability front and center and more like Wolverine’s notorious Healing Factor. Personally, I’m okay with it.
