DAY ONE OF THE NCCAA COLLEGE WORLD SERIES, DAY THREE OF THE USCAA WORLD SERIES

 Today the NCCAA2 College World Series begins, joining the USCAA, whose series enters its third day. The Lancaster Bible College Chargers (logo at left) are the 8 seed in the NCCAA event and will face the top-seeded Toccoa Falls College Eagles, who are also the defending champs, in Game One today.

DAY TWO OF THE USCAA COLLEGE WORLD SERIES

 Welcome to day 2 of the USCAA World Series. Today the 2nd seeded Newport News Apprentice School Builders (logo at left) won a classic pitcher’s duel with the PSU- Beaver Nittany Lions by a score of 1-0. Tomorrow the action gets even more intense as the NCCAA2 College World Series gets underway.

DAY ONE OF THE USCAA COLLEGE WORLD SERIES

 Today marks day 1 of the College World Series for the USCAA, which stands  for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. The USCAA format features a 10 team field playing in a double elimination tournament to determine the championship.

The Southern Virginia University Knights (logo at top left), a team from a terrific Mormon institution, were last year’s runners- up to the Briarcliffe Bulldogs. CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY: MORE COLLEGE BASEBALL CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPS TO BE CROWNED TODAY

NAIA COLLEGE BASEBALL CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS CONTINUE

 The Indiana University Southeast Grenadiers (logo at left) continue to rip their way through their tournament. Yesterday was Day 2 and the 3rd- seeded Grenadiers DISMEMBERED the (2) Talladega Tornadoes by a football score of 21-3. 

The USAO Drovers out of the Sooner Athletic Conference joined the other 6 seeds making noise this postseason. Yesterday they upset the (3) Rogers State Hillcats in a 4-3 nailbiter.

POSTSEASON COLLEGE BASEBALL CONTINUES

 In NAIA baseball’s ongoing conference tournaments the Blue Mountain College Toppers (logo at left) are the biggest story so far. They came into the TranSouth Athletic Conference tournament seeded 6th, but on Day 1 of the tourney they upset the number 1 seeds, the Freed Hardeman Lions, then yesterday on Day 2 the Toppers defeated the 4th- seeded Bethel (TN) Wildcats. Today they try to keep their upset mojo going when they take on the 2 seeds, the Union Bulldogs.

NCCAA AND USCAA COLLEGE WORLD SERIES SEEDINGS ANNOUNCED

 The Dallas Christian College Crusaders (logo at left) won the Southwest Region on Saturday, filling the final automatic berth in the NCCAA2 World Series. Here’s a look at the seedings for all 8 teams in the event. Meanwhile, the USCAA’s 10 team field for their World Series has also been finalized. DAY 5 OF NCCAA COLLEGE BASEBALL’S POSTSEASON

 Yesterday the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers (logo at left) won the Mid East Region Championship by defeating the Johnson University Preachers. OCU joins the LBC Chargers and the NCU Rams in clinching berths in the upcoming NCCAA2 World Series. DAY 4 OF NCCAA COLLEGE BASEBALL’S POSTSEASON

 The Toccoa Falls College Eagles (logo at left), the defending champions of NCCAA2 baseball, took the field today after a bye in the first round of the South Region Tournament. As dominant as ever, they finished off yesterday’s winners, the Florida Christian College Suns by a score of 7-3.
