NOTEWORTHY COLLEGE FOOTBALL RESULTS FROM AUGUST 24TH

Balladeer’s Blog presents its usual Sunday look at the previous day’s college football action on this, the REAL opening weekend for the 2013 season.

Rocky Mountain CollegeGETTING A JUMP ON THE WEEKEND – in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) the ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BATTLIN’ BEARS and the JAMESTOWN COLLEGE JIMMIES kicked off the action Friday night. The Jimmies led RMC by a score of 13-6 in the 2nd Quarter but the Battlin’ Bears’ quarterback Bryce Baker (Official Balladeer’s Blog nickname B Squared) stayed cool. Baker rallied his team with three passing Touchdowns and a rushing score as well. Rocky Mountain College took a 20-13 lead by halftime and won this opening game of the 2013 season by a final score of 34-20.

Hutchinson Blue DragonsBLUE DRAGONS SCORCH THE RED RAVENS – In this colorful matchup yesterday from the Jayhawk Conference the HUTCHINSON BLUE DRAGONS took it on the road and torched all the feathers off of the COFFEYVILLE RED RAVENS. The score in this clash was tied up 7-7 at the end of the 1st Quarter but Hutch’s Ryan Weese added 2 Field Goals in the 2nd Quarter to give the Blue Dragons a 13-7 lead at the half. Hutchinson added 21 points in the 3rd and 10 more in the 4th with Coffeyville managing just 7 points total in the 2nd half. Hutchinson’s Quarterback “Lethal” Luke Barnes went 28 of 46 for 228 yards and 2 Touchdowns in this 44-14 rout.

Iowa Western CollegeTHE BATTLE IN THE VALLEY – The IOWA WESTERN REIVERS, the reigning champions of NJCAA Football, began their defense of the title yesterday by facing the TRINITY VALLEY COLLEGE CARDINALS in the 2nd Annual Battle in the Valley. A very game Cardinals team led 7-3 at the end of the 1st Quarter but the Reivers notched a 2nd Quarter Touchdown to take a 10-7 halftime lead. Iowa Western held a 17-10 advantage going into the 4th Quarter but the Cardinals, driving from their own 7 yard line, moved the ball 93 yards to knot the game up at 17 all with under Continue reading →

AL SHARPTON: “IT’S RACIST TO ARREST TWO BLACK KIDS BUT ONLY ONE WHITE KID FOR KILLING THAT AUSSIE HONKY!”

Professional hatemonger Al Sharpton

Professional hatemonger Al Sharpton

Al Sharpton, emaciated racist and homophobe, has cried foul once again. When three teenagers recently shot a young Australian man attending college in the U.S. the odd number of assailants meant that two black perpetrators were arrested but only one white teen. Citing this as a clear case of the way the American justice system discriminates against African Americans Sharpton called for protests in every major city.

The object of these protests would be to insist that the number of white criminals arrested in mixed-race crimes MUST be equivalent to the number of black criminals arrested. Attorney General Eric Holder, known for his efforts to break EVERY crime on the books while heading the Justice Department, expressed solidarity with Sharpton.

“Either arrest a random white dude or let one of the black dudes go!” the perpetually sleazy-looking Holder exclaimed to Continue reading →

COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON 2013 KICKS OFF TONIGHT

Rocky Mountain CollegeIt’s the most wonderful time of the year! The 2013 college football season kicks off tonight in the divisions covered by Balladeer’s Blog! Tonight at 8pm Eastern Time the ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE BATTLIN’ BEARS from the Frontier Conference host the JAMESTOWN COLLEGE JIMMIES from the North Star Conference.

This matchup in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) is the only game tonight but Saturday will see a full slate of gridiron action. THREE new colleges add football teams this year in the NAIA – the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS, the REINHARDT UNIVERSITY EAGLES and the OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY BISON (technically relaunching football after stopping it in 1940).

In 2014 even more NAIA institutions will add football: the SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE, the COLLEGE OF IDAHO COYOTES and Continue reading →

IROQUOIS EPIC MYTH: HODADEION PART EIGHT

Iroquois

Iroquois

Part 8: Niagara Falls Death Trap  – As part 7 concluded Hodadeion, the Iroquois god of magic, was alarmed to find that the twin enchantresses who were in reality two giant white herons had flown him in a huge basket to a rock at the top of what is now called Niagara Falls. They had stranded him there surrounded by a massive volume of water roaring its way past the small outcropping of rock the demigod was on, ultimately descending in a loud roar of falling liquid.

Hodadeion did not know what fate awaited him in that precarious position, or what dire menace the Heron Maidens expected to assault him in his perilous situation but he Continue reading →

JEANNETTA JOY: BALLADEER’S BLOG INTERVIEWS A TRULY REGAL BEAUTY

jeannetta joy 4Jeannetta Joy has the sweet and musical voice of an angel. The greatest testament I can offer to the overpowering allure of her voice is the fact that it actually manages to momentarily distract you from the transcendental beauty of her face and voluptuous form.

Adding to Jeannetta’s considerable charm is her sharp wit and engaging personality along with the regal but courteous way she deals with the effect her presence has on the metabolisms of so many men and women. A very savvy business woman, Jeannetta runs her own line of merchandise and lives an independent life in which she answers to nobody.

This entrepreneurial sex symbol recently granted Balladeer’s Blog an interview. For details about her new projects and how to go about laying your hands on some Jeannetta Joy merchandise read on:
