Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog takes a look at some of the Democrats and Republicans whose activities in 2022 made them deserving of nothing but contempt at best.
NANCY PELOSI
Gang Affiliation: Democrat
Comment: The bitter and defeated Nancy Pelosi embodies the worst aspects of privileged white one percenters who hold political office. Even though her policies hurt the working class and the poor, she sanctimoniously pretends the opposite is true and presumes to lecture the rest of the country. Nancy is at least as corrupt as the Bidens and Bushes, and several years’ worth of their tax returns deserve to be examined.
Nancy has fueled hatred and political division, abusing her Speaker position to violate Congressional procedures by denying the minority from selecting their own members for committees among other partisan abuses. Pelosi’s childish destruction of her copy of a State of the Union Address was a new low for any Speaker of the House. She TWICE led the Democrats to losing the House of Representatives to the opposition party, the most recent time coming this past November.
Nancy cemented the ugly practice of last-minute voting on bills so complex and consisting of so many pages that no members of Congress would have time to read them before having to offer their Yea or Nay on the legislation. “You have to pass it to see what’s in it” was literally instituted by Pelosi herself. Pelosi consistently blocked attempts to prevent members of Congress from using their insider knowledge to exploit the stock market, even though the business community AND THE REST OF US would face criminal charges for such insider trading.
This repulsive snob’s lies and corruption have made her one of the most destructive and despised Speakers of the House since Schuyler Colfax in the age of the Credit Mobilier Scandal. In addition, Nancy repeatedly kept down newer members of her own political party who sought to bring new ideas to Congress, ideas which the octogenarian Pelosi apparently felt threatened her own wealth and other privileges. Among other things, we might see how so many of them become multimillionaires on government salaries. I think we know how, especially career criminal Joe Biden. Or the equally corrupt Nancy Pelosi, whose husband mysteriously got so many government contracts over the years.

Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog takes its first 2023 look at current events.

A few years back, when Balladeer’s Blog reviewed
Prior to 1985, Korvatunturi was considered Santa’s home, which is why I suspect that I Met Father Christmas may have been part of a 1984 publicity push regarding Finland’s upcoming “official” re-designation of Rovaniemi as the site of Santa’s workshop and village. Rovaniemi’s airport is just a mile away from Santa Claus Village.
In the years since then, Rovaniemi has become more and more entrenched as the home of Santa and his workshop. A Christmas special called Lapland Out was filmed there as part of Tots TV, as was the Bam Margera movie Where The #$&% Is Santa? Hell, even a Lordi heavy metal music video was filmed there for their song Hardrock Hallelujah. (That overhead line marks the actual Arctic Circle.)
Santa Claus Village seems like a fantastic spot for a family vacation if you don’t mind traveling, and if you don’t mind the frigid outside conditions. There are sleigh rides powered by reindeer (above right), snowmobile touring, dogsledding, a petting zoo, an Elf Academy

Because December 21st is the shortest day of the year, Balladeer’s Blog always runs articles about short films, short presidential administrations, etc. This year I’m observing the 57th anniversary of the theatrical release of the very first animated short in The Inspector series on December 21st, 1965.
The Pink Panther had already graduated from being the opening credits mascot of Edwards’ series to its own series of cartoon shorts. When the tradition of screening original cartoons before the latest movie releases ended (for the most part) in the late 60s/ early 70s, many of those animated shorts were packaged as cartoon shows for Saturday morning television. The Inspector found a new home as part of the Pink Panther cartoon show.
THE GREAT DE GAULLE STONE OPERATION – Yes, it was 57 years ago on this date when this Inspector cartoon debuted. As of 1965 the Blake Edwards/ Peter Sellers film series consisted of just The Pink Panther (1963) and A Shot in the Dark (1964). (The original Pink Panther movie premiered in Europe in December 1963 and America in 1964, which is why it is sometimes listed as a 1964 release instead of 1963.)

Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog, as always, welcomes everyone no matter who they vote for. Revelation after revelation keeps surfacing from the way Elon Musk has overturned a figurative rock, thus exposing all of the corrupt,
Moreover, the past several years have also seen de facto Third Party President Donald Trump overturn a figurative rock exposing the cesspool of corruption that career politicians have made of America’s political system.
Both of them are in the sights of the powerful totalitarians they have angered, Trump for far longer than Musk, of course. Those two non-politicians have exposed the Banana Republic conditions in which the Joe Bidens and George W. Bushes of the country have mired America.
dropping from above to perform such civic duties, and regular readers know I sure as hell don’t advocate for such action, but there’s no denying that Trump and Musk are waging the kind of battles that our elected officials, judicial appointees and “law enforcement” (LMAO) personnel should have been waging long before the corruption spread as far as it has.
