College Football Playoffs-Could The Big Ten Football Champion Miss out?
The divisions of college football covered by Balladeer’s Blog kick off their 2016 season on August 25th!
School – UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI WESTERN GRIFFONS
The NAIA’s Mid-South Conference and the Sun Conference are merging to form the nation’s largest football conference at any level. There will be 20 teams competing for three automatic bids to the NAIA playoffs. 2017 will be the debut year of the combo.
The debut season of intercollegiate football for the University of West Florida Argonauts draws ever nearer! They just signed their second recruiting class.
Balladeer’s Bowl results are in, and for the sixth year in a row the NAIA football champions – in this case the MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS – defeated the NCAA D3 champions – the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS.
The MARIAN UNIVERSITY KNIGHTS are the NAIA champs and the UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT UNION PURPLE RAIDERS are the champs of D3.
Readers of Balladeer’s Blog get to vote on the winner over the next week, so NAIA and D3 boosters can begin their annual deluge of emails to me arguing for their choice.
