NJCAA FOOTBALL’S COOLEST HELMETS

To help us all hang on until the 2016 college football season kicks off Balladeer’s Blog looks  at some of the coolest helmets in the NJCAA.

The ASA College Avengers (logo at left) have the coolest helmet logo in the NJCAA, but it fades in a little too much against their purple helmets to be sufficiently visible in pictures.

A white helmet might make it show up better, but at any rate their decal will instead serve as this article’s main pic to open things up with everyone’s favorite purple-flamed Goth android skull logo.

Below is a scorecard of how many representatives each major college football conference has had in the first two years of college football playoffs, it could be of help while using the NCAA football betting lines;

Southeastern Conference (SEC):2 representatives

The Big Ten: 2 representatives

The NFL training camps are almost here. That means there are a lot of hot positional battles for fans to look forward to. The teams have a lot to evaluate, from depth charts to free agent additions. One thing is for sure, the NFL week 1 betting odds are going to change dramatically once the training camps begin, the hottest upcoming NFL training camp battles including the following:

1). Robert Griffin III VS Josh McCown (Cleveland Browns)

The Browns probably intended Griffin to become the starting Quarterback when they took a flyer on him during free agency. Head Coach Hue Jackson has nothing but praises for Griffin whose inconsistent preseason practices might cause concern for some people. 

The front-runner for the starting position, Griffin is coachable. He will slide and throw the ball away when asked to do so. McCown, on the other hand, has greater familiarity with this territory. Continue reading

MidSouth Conference expansionThe NAIA’s Mid-South Conference and the Sun Conference are merging to form the nation’s largest football conference at any level. There will be 20 teams competing for three automatic bids to the NAIA playoffs. 2017 will be the debut year of the combo.

WEST FLORIDA ARGONAUTS SIGN RECRUITING CLASS

west florida argonautsThe debut season of intercollegiate football for the University of West Florida Argonauts draws ever nearer! They just signed their second recruiting class. 

PENSACOLA, FL – University of West Florida football coach Pete Shinnick announced a class of 16 high school standouts on Wednesday, marking the second full class of recruits since the program was established.

Shinnick’s second class includes five offensive players, 10 on defense and one dynamic kicker/punter. Additionally, the staff announced eight mid-year transfer student-athletes who enrolled at UWF in January. Continue reading

As always Balladeer’s Bowl pits the National Champions of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) against the National Champions of the NCAA Division Three.
