JOE BIDEN IN 2021, ALREADY LOOKING AS FAR GONE AND PATHETIC AS HE LOOKED IN THURSDAY NIGHT’S DEBATE. THIS IS NOTHING NEW.
Here at Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog, I’ve been deluged with remarks, emails, text messages, etc. ever since Thursday night when Joe Biden once again behaved as unfit for office as he’s been since 2020. Some were surprised that I hadn’t immediately posted a crowing account of how – even with the host network’s accommodations for his unfitness that NO sitting president should ever be given – Biden once again behaved as poorly as we have all seen him do in countless video clips from recent years.
Rather than just focus on how idiotically Old Soils Himself behaved Thursday night I will first offer some reminders about how the Democrat Party, the Bidens themselves and ESPECIALLY Democrat media outlets have been running cover for Biden’s unfitness for the past four years. Remember how the Democrats were most recently pretending video footage of Biden’s imbecility were “deep fakes” or “taken out of context.”
Legitimate questions were ignored regarding the Media Wall of Protection around Biden that has been lying to the voters for years now. The Party kept claiming Biden was sharp-minded and alert and that his “just a few hours and done for the day” conduct was just opposition party propaganda and not proof of his unfit condition.
One of the benefits of my series of blog posts looking back on the national scene under President Donald Trump and then following the installation of Joe Biden has been seeing how short the public memory is. Every week those posts produced “Hey, yeah, I forgot all about that” reactions from people.
Rather than just dump them all in one long blog post, I will recap the most crucial items in the days ahead. Even if the Democrats drop Biden I will still be making these posts because the monumental dishonesty of the Democrat Party and their media outlets as they forced the pathetic little crook Joe Biden on us NEEDS more attention than the topic has gotten so far.
First, there was this satirical depiction of Joe Biden’s unfitness and inability to truly campaign in 2020 as he hid away from the public as much as possible. It’s a hilarious video: WEEKEND AT BIDEN’S. It could still be rerun here in 2024 because Biden’s unfitness is still apparent to everyone except people who refuse to ever read or watch media outlets that don’t play to their own biases and preconceived notions.
Lastly for this time is THIS 2021 ITEM FROM THE U.K. – yes, 2021 – and the reporter correctly points out how clear Biden’s unfitness already was, AND how clearly the media had failed to properly cover Biden’s inadequacies, AND how it was still going on as even then Democrat “reporters” were helping Biden through his public appearances. The whole item is HERE, but first, some excerpts reminding us that Joe Biden didn’t just suddenly become what he was Thursday night. From 2021:
“(the) reason why too few realised what the world was going to get from a Biden presidency is that the US media simply didn’t ask the questions it needed to ask. Before the election a near entirety of the American media gave up covering it and simply campaigned for the Democrat nominee.” (NOTE FROM BALLADEER: And so did the near entirety of the British media and other European media.)
“Instead, they just hung on his every incoherent sentence and accepted his pronouncements (generally beginning with “Look”) as if they had any more idea than he did about whatever point he was forever struggling to make.”
“Until you see it up close you just cannot believe the cravenness of most of the American media. Last month the CNN presenter Don Lemon was selected to quiz Biden at a “town hall” event before the cameras. Biden was, as usual, meandering and unfocused as though lost in the fog of his own sentences. But Lemon would not press him properly … It wasn’t journalism. It wasn’t even kindness. He was rooting for the president.” Continue reading

This weekend’s light-hearted, escapist superhero post from Balladeer’s Blog looks at the independent comic book character the Black Coat, a masked hero in 1770s New York City.
The Black Coat is really Nathaniel Finch, brilliant young scientist and friend of Ben Franklin himself. Our costumed hero runs his own covert network of rebels called the Knights of Liberty, men and women who risk everything to fight against tyranny. His coal-black horse Phobos stands ever-ready as well.
THE BLACK COAT Vol 1 #1 (2006)
The saved Franklin visits with our hero in his civilian Nathaniel Finch identity at the New York Sentinel, Finch’s patriot newspaper. Rumors of war breaking out at any moment are everywhere. British General Savidge has secretly allied himself with shadowy conspirators called the League – an evil version of the Founding Fathers’ Masonic Lodges.
With the 4th of July holiday fast approaching, here is another seasonal post from Balladeer’s Blog. When it comes to women who dressed up as men and served as soldiers during America’s Revolutionary War, Deborah Sampson gets most of the attention. Here’s a look at two other women who disguised themselves as men to serve in the war.
Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky did real-life work crucial to space-flight and is one of the neglected pioneers of Science Fiction. Balladeer’s Blog takes a look at a few of his works.
These flying plant-people from the Asteroid Belt obtain nourishment through chlorophyll and solar radiation. They also have advanced technology like the harnessing of dismantled asteroids into rings, resulting in lower gravity for manufacturing work.
OUT OF THE EARTH (1920) – Set in the year 2017 A.D. this tale features what readers are told is the first manned flight to the moon, some 48 years AFTER it happened in real life.

FEBRUARY 1st – At Drake’s Farm near Metuchen, New Jersey. In reaction to British losses throughout January as part of what some have called the Forage War, British General William Erskine sought to lure American forces into a trap.
AUGUST 1919 RETURN – From January of 1910 to July of 1917, James Larkin Pearson’s monthly Fool-Killer had been published, with his revival of the violent folk figure doing his ages-old job of bashing political and societal fools. In April 1917 America entered World War One and by July Pearson felt that a unified front for wartime was appropriate.
In August of 1919, nine months after the end of the war, Pearson changed the name back to The Fool-Killer and resumed the hard-hitting political satire. That month’s targeted fools included:
LEADSLINGERS BLACK FLAG RUM – This is a terrific spiced rum that I find much better than Captain Morgan and other brands. It’s only 80 proof, so for Balladeer’s Blog regulars who prefer stronger rums read below.
