ANOTHER FEMALE VOTER FED UP WITH CONDESCENDING DEMOCRAT FOOLS

Allie StuckeyThe Democrats seem determined to keep fueling the #WALKAWAY movement. I originally estimated it would take close to a decade at least for #WALKAWAY to have real impact but the Democrats may make it happen sooner since they refuse to tamp down their pomposity toward voters they think they OWN.

This time around it’s not African-American voters that Democrats are talking down to with a threatening undertone. This blog post is about the Democrats’ condescension and  hate-mongering toward female voters. Allie Stuckey was having none of it.

The link to the full article is below but first some excerpts:

“The irony is, of course, rich. Leftist feminists, long-asserting the strength and independence of women, now argue that some women are so weak that they need to depend on liberals to tell them how to vote.

“Don’t worry, though. The Women’s March is here to help us out: “There’s a lot of work to do, white women. A lot of learning. A lot of growing. We want to do it with you.”

“Phew! For a second there I thought we were going to have to continue navigating these scary political waters on our own. I’m so relieved to know that, instead of thinking for ourselves, we’ll have obscure liberal Twitter activists and Linda Sarsour guiding us.”

women for trump 2“For as much as feminists say they hate the patriarchy, they do a darn good job of patronizing women with whom they disagree. They are demeaning, self-righteous and condescending. They deemed women who supported Kavanaugh “gender traitors.” They called Susan Collins and other senators who voted “yes” on the now-justice “rape apologists.” They claimed women who voted for Trump did so because of “internal misogyny.”

“… feminists fancy themselves rebellious disruptors, but it’s a fantasy. They’re mainstream, their platform is tired, their hypocrisy is predictable and their constant bullying of women on the other side of the aisle is nauseatingly unattractive.” Continue reading

DONALD DRAINS THE SWAMP: TERRIFIC BOOK FOR KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE

Donald Drains The SwampEric Metaxas has launched his new series of books about a heroic caveman named Donald who defies corrupt swamp creatures to save his people.

Donald Drains The Swamp is the first installment. Ostensibly a children’s book this clever work will also appeal to adults in the most masterful way since Walt Kelly’s Pogo the Possum combined child-like whimsy with incisive political commentary.

Needless to say, the swamp creatures encountered by Metaxas’ hero Donald are much more malevolent than Pogo’s acquaintances in the Okefenokee Swamp. I don’t want to give away too many jokes from this gem of a book, but I would recommend it for all ages. The illustrations are by Tim Raglin.

WORLD WAR ONE: SOME INTRIGUING BOOKS

With today’s marking of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War here are some books on that often neglected topic. (I will omit Barbara Tuchman’s Guns of August because of how well-known it is.)

Hat in the Ring GangTHE HAT IN THE RING GANG: THE COMBAT HISTORY OF THE 94th AERO SQUADRON IN WORLD WAR ONE – Written by Charles Woolley, this excellent book covers America’s 94th Aero Squadron aka The Hat in the Ring Gang.

When it comes to Flying Aces of World War One the Americans in the Lafayette Escadrille get the lion’s share of the attention. That’s ironic since Eddie Rickenbacker, America’s greatest ace of the war, served in the Hat in the Ring Gang along with many other famous paladins of the skies. To buy it click HERE

Doughboy WarDOUGHBOY WAR: THE AMERICAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE IN WORLD WAR I – Written/ edited by James H Hallas. I feel this book is perfect for people who are just diving into World War One and don’t want inundated with all of the overwhelming details of more involved works. Doughboy War covers every aspect of American soldiers’ experiences in the Great War, often in their own words.

Follow them from enlistment, training and crossing the Atlantic to facing action in Europe, including accounts of the ordeals faced by wounded Doughboys. To buy it click HERE    Continue reading

HAPPY VETERANS DAY 2018

Veterans DayWell, it’s been ONE HUNDRED YEARS since November 11th, 1918 saw the end of World War One, or the Great War as it was called before anyone knew a second global conflict would occur. As we all know the date eventually became designated as the day for honoring the people who make it possible for the rest of us to lead our lives in relative safety.

Irrational political partisans often forget that the only reason any of them have the luxury of sitting back and making pompous, self-righteous pronouncements is because of the men and women who go out and actually DO something.  Continue reading
