September is Muslim Violence Awareness Month. Thirty days of examining the violence of that pack of savage superstitions called Islam.

We’re only on Day Two but let’s look at where we stand so far:

*** More than 60 innocent non-Muslims were killed in the city of Baanu by the Muslims of Boko Haram, the Nigerian franchise in the global Islamofascism hate group.

*** Muslims in Germany RIOTED over one lone man flushing a few pages of the ridiculous Koran down the toilet. As regular readers know I’m a non-believer and I’m fine with ANY religion’s delusion-inspiring “Holy” book getting flushed down the toilet but let’s face it – ONLY Muslims riot over such things here in the 21st Century.  Continue reading →

BAYBAYAN: PHILIPPINE EPIC MYTH PART FOUR

Balladeer’s Blog continues its examination of this epic myth of the Bukidnon people of the Philippines.

PART FOUR

Philippine IslandsThe demigod Baybayan led his hundreds of followers up the mountain atop which would land the Salimbal – the divine craft sent down from Skyland by the supreme deity Magbabaya. The Earthly realm, in its fundamental evil, made a concentrated effort to lure Baybayan’s followers away from their quest. The impure world sought to prevent as many of the demigod’s followers as possible from reaching the land of the gods.

First all the rocks then the very ground itself turned to gold, to tempt the followers into staying behind to collect the gold and live the comfortable and pleasant life of the wealthy. Some of Baybayan’s disciples yielded to this temptation and stayed behind to accumulate wealth. Vile nature intensified its attack as even the leaves on the trees and the grass turned to gold in order to tempt away a few more of the disciples. Continue reading →

Tales to Astonish 407 TALES TO ASTONISH # 40 (February 1963)

Title: The Day The Ant-Man Failed

Villain: The Hijacker, a costumed supervillain who wielded a gun that both knocked out its victims and made them lose their short-term memory. That gas was derived from an ancient Inca formula. In later years the Hijacker fought Black Goliath and the Thing.

Synopsis: The Hijacker is robbing armored cars all over New York City by knocking out the drivers and leaving them with no memory of their attacker. With the help of Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four Ant-Man devises a gas mask made of unstable molecules.

The gas mask is to protect our hero from the Hijacker’s gas and the unstable molecular makeup of the mask will allow it to shrink and grow along with the rest of Ant-Man’s costume and equipment. Continue reading →

Muslim Violence Awareness Month is underway. Muslim fanatics, of course, seem to feel that EVERY month is Muslim Violence Awareness Month.

Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know that I’m a nonbeliever in ANY of the world’s religions but I’m NOT one of those gutless hypocrites who ignore the fact that Islam is the most misogynistic, homophobic, oppressive, hostile to freedom and otherwise intolerant religion in the world at this particular point in history.
