DAY FIVE: GAME ONE – The SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE UNIVERSITY PENMEN took the diamond against the FRANKLIN PIERCE UNIVERSITY RAVENS in this game. The Penmen grabbed a quick 1-0 lead in the 1st Inning only to see the Ravens tie the score at 1-1 in the 2nd. This collision of title-holders turned out to be a very lopsided affair as the Tribunes opened up the proverbial can on the Bulldogs. Dylan Enwiller of the Roughriders hit a Grand Slam Home Run to give his team a 20-16 triumph over the Wildcats. Against all odds they made it to the third day of play with no losses. The top seeded CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS had suffered a loss on Day One, therefore one more loss would eliminate them. The Ocelots got on the scoreboard first as it turned out, driving in 2 runs in the 2nd Inning. From there they added 5 more in the 3rd and the blowout was on. DISTRICT F: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This was a true Instant Classic between the top seeded SUFFOLK COUNTY COLLEGE SHARKS and the 2nd seeded NASSAU COLLEGE LIONS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the Sharks went up 1-0 in the 2nd and 2-0 in the 3rd. The 6th Inning saw the next runs scored as the Lions tied it up at 2-2. Nassau College grabbed a 3-2 lead in the 7th and made it 4-2 in the 8th. In dramatic fashion Suffolk County College delivered 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th for a 5-4 victory!
