Suffolk County Sharks logoDISTRICT F: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – This was a true Instant Classic between the top seeded SUFFOLK COUNTY COLLEGE SHARKS and the 2nd seeded NASSAU COLLEGE LIONS. After a scoreless 1st Inning the Sharks went up 1-0 in the 2nd and 2-0 in the 3rd. The 6th Inning saw the next runs scored as the Lions tied it up at 2-2. Nassau College grabbed a 3-2 lead in the 7th and made it 4-2 in the 8th. In dramatic fashion Suffolk County College delivered 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th for a 5-4 victory! Pitcher Robert Sciarrotta got the win.  * THE SHARKS ARE CHAMPIONS OF DISTRICT F

GloucesterDISTRICT G: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in this District were the top seeds – the storied ROWAN GLOUCESTER COLLEGE ROADRUNNERS – and the 3rd seeded CUMBERLAND COUNTY COLLEGE DUKES. This game became an absolute joke and was the antithesis of the word “competitive.” The Roadrunners treated the Dukes like they were Wile E Coyote by folding, spindling and mutilating them by an unbelievable score of THIRTY-ONE to TWO! Cumberland should just burn the game tape and deny ever being in New Jersey the day the game was played.  * THE ROADRUNNERS ARE CHAMPIONS OF DISTRICT G

Northern Essex KnightsDISTRICT H: CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – It was all chalk in this District as the title tilt came down to the top seeded NORTHERN ESSEX COLLEGE KNIGHTS and the 2nd seeded MASSASOIT COLLEGE WARRIORS. The Knights seized a 3-0 lead in the 1st Inning and stayed on top the rest of the way. They shut out the Warriors while adding runs for themselves in the 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th Innings for an 8-0 triumph. Evan Glew pitched for the win for Northern Essex College.  * THE KNIGHTS ARE CHAMPIONS OF DISTRICT H *
