TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY GOLEM: NEW CABLE TV SERIES

The first episode of the hot new cable series Twenty-First Century Golem premiered last night. For the uninitiated the Golem is a clay monster from Jewish folklore created by a Rabbi to protect the Jewish people from their oppressors. Most Golem stories are set hundreds of years ago but this new show, from the director of the hit action movie The Burqa, is set here in the year 2013.

This Golem is created in Israel to protect Israeli civilians from mad dog Hamas terrorists. The Hamas butchers are targeting Israeli children and gleefully whooping as their fragile young bodies are blown to bloody pieces. The Golem wades into their midst, relentlessly smashing his way through all obstacles Michael Myers style and wipes them out.

After a second such incident which finds the Golem thwarting a suicide bomber’s attempt to slaughter a busload of Israeli school children Hamas’ propaganda arm, often referred to around the world as “Pallywood”, goes into action. As usual the Pallywood propagandists stage a massacre to make it look like their own people were innocent victims of “the Jewish oppressor’s monster.”

President Barack Obama, the comic relief blowhard villain of the series, buys it hook, line and sinker and unquestioningly regurgitates the Palestinian propaganda while condemning Israel and “this Golem menace who is jeopardizing the peace process”. Obama’s buffoonish character is captured perfectly in the series and he comes across as the pretentious poseur that he is. The actor playing him is now facing an ugly IRS audit and many of his private phone conversations are somehow being leaked to the media. Weird.

By this episode’s end the Golem, in his shambling, unyielding way has wiped out many of the Hamas murderers and exposed the Pallywood shamsters for the phonies they are. Like J Jonah Jameson with Spider-Man the blundering and clueless Barack Obama blames the Golem for all the violence and calls for the U.N. to condemn Israel, which it does with giddy abandon.

This horror/action series looks to be a good one and it shows a willingness to venture into dangerous territory. Most of the horror is aimed at shallow and clueless American Liberals and anti-semites around the globe, all of whom root for Palestinians to kill as many Israelis as they can – especially children. The Golem is a nightmare come to life for those people, whose sleep will be troubled by the notion of someone – anyone – actually doing something about Hamas and being undeterred by the political theatre that Palestinian terrorists love to engage in.
