LAST NIGHT’S EPISODE OF TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY GOLEM

GolemThe adventures of the mythical Jewish monster the Golem in the present day continued last night in this award- winning cable series that has riveted the nation like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and True Blood. So far in this second season the heroic Golem is trapped in an enormous kaiju-height form as a result of last year’s season-ending cliffhanger.

Last night’s outing saw the Golem’s wanderings across a gauntlet of Muslim nations hostile to his very existence lead him to Egypt, the only country in the region willing to greet him peacefully. The deposed Muslim Brotherhood, the preferred puppet rulers of the show’s comic relief blowhard villain Barack Obama, tried to initiate hostility between the battle-weary Golem and the Egyptian government but when that failed the Brotherhood’s resident supervillain – the Mad Mullah – conjured up otherworldly forces that miraculously brought the giant stone Sphinx to life.

The Mad Mullah pitted the Sphinx against the Golem, which, acting out of self-defense, battled the Sphinx in a special-effects blockbuster that may well be the best this series has yet shown us. The Egyptian populace began to despise the Golem for its destructive battle with their treasured Sphinx but an Egyptian secret agent who had infiltrated the Muslim Brotherhood exposed the Mad Mullah’s plan and managed to deactivate the Sphinx. The Golem then put the now-immobile Sphinx back in its original location and the Muslim Brotherhood found themselves even more unpopular with the Egyptian public.

Barack Obama, as outraged by the Golem’s continued existence as he is at the continued existence of Israel, had a drone kill the heroic Egyptian secret agent in the tragic finale. Pathetically Obama then tried to blame the death on the Mossad with a compliant U.S. media happy to cooperate in the deception. Kudos to this show for having the extraordinary courage to depict an American president and the corporate media in a negative light!
