I consider all religions to be nothing but irrational mythology. That said there is only ONE religion in the world that elected officials and the increasingly shrill media constantly try to browbeat the rest of us into regarding with a reverence it does not deserve: Islam. (But only those elements of Islam that are violent and want to live in the past. Muslims working to reform their faith get ignored by the Left, who accuse them of “internalizing Western oppression.”)

April 1st – Palmyra, Syria – An investigation uncovered 40 dead victims of the Islamic State formed by Barack Obama’s premature withdrawal from Iraq. “Obamastan” is the alternate name the world has given to the Islamic State. 

March 31st – Galkayo, Somalia – A Muslim fascist suicide bomber killed 9 innocent people and injured 10 more.

March 27th – Lahore, Pakistan – Christians celebrating Easter were victims of a Muslim fascist bombing which killed 74 people and injured 362 more.  Continue reading →

“UNWINNABLE” WARS AND LEFT-WING ARCHIE BUNKERS

Left-Wing Archie Bunker: Back in MYYYY day, you were on the right side of an issue as long as you automatically sided with the enemies of the Western World!

The Left-Wing Archie Bunkers of the 1960s generation like to pretend every war is the Vietnam War all over again. Even against the intolerant forces of Muslim fascism the gutless hypocrites of “the most self-aggrandizing generation” continue to twist logic as severely as they have to in order to take sides against the Western World.  

They also push the concept of allegedly “unwinnable wars.” The expression “unwinnable wars” needs put in perspective. In modern warfare a victorious nation shows restraint and does not bombard an entire nation into submission like was done to Germany in World War Two for instance.

That restraint means that when the conventional war is won there is a sufficiently effective enemy network still at large in the defeated nations. The existence of such networks – often aided by forces outside the defeated country – means that any victorious nation needs to be prepared to maintain forces in the defeated nation for literally two decades AT LEAST.

That will not happen because the civilized world’s enemies (Muslim fanatics at present) know that as long as they can maintain ANY level of hostile activity they can count on the spineless and self-aggrandizing political left in the Western Democracies to do politically what they themselves cannot do militarily – force a premature withdrawal of the victorious forces.

American Liberals are the biggest offenders on that score – especially the nauseatingly self-congratulatory 1960s generation of American Liberals who STILL use every conflict as an excuse to pathetically try to relive their youthful protests of the Vietnam War. Those pompous fools always ignore the fact that America and the other Western Democracies are now facing AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT TYPE OF FOE and AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SITUATION.

So this is apparently where we in the civilized world stand: we have barbaric external foes opposed to any form of freedom and built-in political parties (the Democratic Party in America, Labour in the U.K., etc) in every free nation who are determined to NEVER let their own countries win a war against those foes. In fact, those political parties think they can woo “the Muslim vote” while somehow retaining the freedoms that Islam is opposed to. Continue reading →

These people recognize – like I do – that the Western World’s biggest liability has turned out to be the preening jackasses of the political left who pretend they’re being “understanding” to try to hide their cowardice.  

Mark Steyn on Belgium’s decision to move airport security perimeters back and pretend that accomplishes something:  “If we’re going to move the security perimeter back, why don’t sovereign nations move it back to their own national borders by not importing and expanding the high-risk population in which terrorism incubates?

ANOTHER HEROIC MUSLIM WOMAN: NADINE AL-BUDAIR

Another addition to the real-life League of Extraordinary Women! Muslim journalist Nadine Al-Budair, writing in a Kuwait newspaper, displayed more courage than 90% of American reporters. Al-Budair criticized the Muslim World over its continuing attempt to blame the Western World for its problems, problems which go back over 1,000 years.

Nadine pointed out that the Muslim world is long overdue for some collective introspection of its own instead of always pointing the finger elsewhere.

“It is strange that we condemn instead of apologizing to the world,” Al-Budair wrote.

She further stated that claims made by Muslims that those who commit terrorism do not represent Islam are “farces” and are “pathetic” attempts to absolve Muslims of guilt. 

Nadine Al-Budair2“It is strange that we [Muslims] believe we have the right to condemn such statements (criticism of Islam) rather than address the implications of some of our extremist curricula, our education, and our regimes, and be ashamed [of them]… It is strange that we condemn [the West] instead of addressing what is happening in our midst – the extremist ways in which we interpret the shari’a and our reactionary attitudes towards each other and the world.”

Needless to say the political left around the world will – as usual – ignore all Muslims like Nadine who want to live in the 21st Century. The Democratic Party here in the U.S. won’t invite her to the White House, and the emotional cripples on our college campuses will find her “problematic” and won’t let her speak. She’ll be dismissed as “a Western Triumphalist” and will be accused of “internalizing Western oppression.”

To the left ONLY Muslims who take offense at drawings of Muhammad, ONLY Muslims who want to live in the past and who hate the West matter. You’ll notice the left won’t even present public debates between Muslims who prefer the modern world and Muslims who prefer to live in the 7th Century. Doing so would prevent them from trying to make people think that hate-filled Muslim versions of Al Sharpton represent how all Muslims feel.

Anne-Marie Waters has perfectly captured the way in which the Muslim rape mobs and Muslim attacks on freedom of expression continue because of all the help they get from the political left around the world.

Balladeer’s Blog has often pointed out that you will NEVER see American Liberals or their counterparts across the globe showing concern for Muslims who DON’T want to live in the past. The only Muslims politically useful to Democrats or Labour, etc are Muslims who hate the West and want to force the rest of us to show their religion the reverence NO religion deserves.

Among Anne-Marie’s points are these: “In England, it’s been rape after rape – tens of thousands of young British girls are brutalised, tortured, beaten and raped by organised gangs comprised almost exclusively of Muslims. (See The Rotherham Report) And now we have Germany. When Chancellor Merkel threw open the doors of her country to hundreds of thousands of migrants from the Middle East and Africa, she opened the door to the rape of German women.” 

 And … “Sweden has become Europe’s rape capital. Its government has blamed this on everything from increased reporting to the internet to the weather. Norway and Denmark also have some rather alarming rates of rape, but those countries are more readily willing to admit the cause. 

“In Norway, recent statistics revealed that 100 per cent of violent street-rapes committed in the capital city of Oslo were committed by “non-western” immigrants.  It’s a similar story in Denmark, where the majority of rapes are committed by immigrants, usually Muslim.” Continue reading →

2. The Muslim World was running the African slave trade long before the Western World got involved in it, and that same Muslim World STILL practices slavery.

THE LEFT IS DRIVING AWAY SO MANY OF US

Islam liberalsHere at Balladeer’s Blog I’ve written plenty about how I used to consider myself a Liberal back before the political left around the world decided to pursue their insane policy of “Islam: Right or Wrong.”

Prior to the 9-11 attacks it wasn’t unusual to have conversations with other left-leaning people about the problem with the Muslim World. Islam’s perpetual refusal to end slavery, to end its gender Apartheid, to stop trying to enforce Islamic taboos on all non-Muslims around the globe, etc were – and are – legitimate concerns for the global community.

Islam liberals 2After 9-11 the political left collectively dropped to their bellies and began crawling for Islam, twisting logic however they had to in order to depict Muslims as victims and as a “vulnerable” community despite their huge numbers worldwide.

In Balladeer’s Blog’s criticism of Liberals and Conservatives I’ve often remarked that Liberals spend their lives figuratively saying “Don’t kick puppy dogs!” to people who had no intention of kicking puppy dogs in the first place. Even worse the pompous jackasses of Liberalism then pat themselves on the back and convince themselves that they deserve the credit if people don’t kick puppy dogs.

Recently Barack Obama – the man who embodies American Liberal condescension and pretentiousness – once again lectured the nation whose diverse people elected him. The topic of course was his ongoing snipe hunt for Islamophobia. When rabid Muslim fanatics kill untold numbers of innocent people Obama’s paramount concern is Islamophobia. When nothing in particular happens Obama’s paramount concern is still Islamophobia.

Little Barry continues to lecture a nation that plans no harm to Muslims who live within the law NOT to plan harm to Muslims who live within the law. (Yawwwn!) Obama delivered this lecture from a Baltimore mosque with ties to recognized terrorist groups. Even the New York Times criticized Little Barry for this and for his persistent silence on the subject of Muslim Apartheid: the barbaric treatment of women in Muslim culture.

You’ll never see the preening asses of the American Left “showing solidarity” with TRULY brave Muslim women who speak out about Islam’s oppression of women. And the spineless hypocrites of the “academic” (LMFAO) world dismiss Muslim women with courage to fight back as “Western Triumphalists” who have “Internalized Western Oppression.”

Courageous Muslim women like Asra Q Nomani and Hala Arafa wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post denouncing the condescending and wrong-headed attempts of American Liberal women to defend the demeaning clothing that Muslim men force Muslim women to wear.   

They called on the Liberal women to instead join them in denouncing Islam’s sexism and its oppression of women. Don’t hold your breath, ladies. American Liberals are FAR too gutless and hypocritical to criticize Islam like they do Christianity and Judaism.

UNTIL SUCH TIME AS ALL MUSLIM WOMEN ARE FREE TO MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICE ON THE MATTER, IT IS IRRELEVANT HOW MANY MUSLIM “STEPFORD WIVES” COME FORWARD TO PRETEND MUSLIM WOMEN WEAR THOSE OUTFITS WILLINGLY.
