CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES – The top seeded MAYVILLE STATE COMETS had to face the Cinderella 6 seeds – the DICKINSON STATE BLUE HAWKS – for the NSAA Championship. The Comets were undefeated in tournament play, so even though the Blue Hawks surprised them in Game One by crushing them 10-1 all that did was force a decisive second game. In Game Two Mayville State converted a 1-0 1st Inning lead into a 3-1 edge in the 3rd and 7-1 in the 7th on their way to an 8-1 victory.
