Beheadings and other sacraments of Islam were in the news a great deal recently. Regular readers of Balladeer’s Blog know that I criticize ALL religions but a person would have to be seriously deluded to not realize that Islam is the most savage, homophobic and misogynistic religion in the world at this particular point in history.
Anywhere on Earth that the Religion of Rape has spread to you’re sure to find Muslim fanatics committing acts of violence to try to intimidate the rest of the world into living in the distant past like Muslims do. In fact all the violent sub-groups of Muslim fanatics with their ever-changing names and acronyms can be placed within one large organization called I.S.L.A.M. (Intolerant Savages Loathing All Modernity).
(Yes, I get threatened by Muslim fanatics but if such people don’t threaten violence against you you’re not doing it right) At any rate here is just a tiny sampling of the bloodshed, rape and beheadings inflicted on civilized people recently by adherents of the religion that is forever retarding the social progress of the rest of the world: Islam. NUMBER FIVE TAKES A FALL – In NCAA Division Three the unranked UW-STEVENS POINT POINTERS played host to the number 5 team in the nation – the NORTH CENTRAL CARDINALS. The Pointers trailed the Cardinals by one point – 7-6 – after 1 Quarter of play and by a score of 17-16 by Halftime. A huge 3rd Quarter for Stevens Point gave them a 31-24 advantage and the two teams simply exchanged Field Goals in the 4th for a final score of Pointers 34 Cardinals 27. QB Kyle Larson was on fire with his WR’s Matt Sosinsky and Logan Taylor, with his 302 passing yards and their combined 253 receiving yards accounting for most of the Stevens Point offense.
BISON STAMPEDE PIRATES – The OKLAHOMA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY BISON from the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) welcomed the NCAA Division Three team the SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY PIRATES. Bison Head Coach Chris Jensen watched his team give up the first 7 points of the game, then navigated them to FIFTY-ONE unanswered points in this chapter of NAIA football vs D3 football. PULP HERO G-8 AND HIS BATTLE ACES: STORIES FORTY-SIX TO FORTY-EIGHT
Balladeer’s Blog resumes its examination of the neglected Pulp Hero G-8. This is a story-by- story look at the adventures of this World War One American fighter pilot who – along with his two wingmen the Battle Aces – took on various supernatural and super- scientific menaces thrown at the Allied Powers by the Central Powers of Germany, Austria- Hungary and the Ottoman Muslim Turks.
G-8 was created by Robert J Hogan in 1933 when World War One was still being called simply the World War or the Great War. Over the next eleven years Hogan wrote 110 stories featuring the adventures of G-8, the street-smart pug Nippy Weston and the brawny giant Bull Martin. The regular cast was rounded out by our hero’s archenemy Doktor Krueger, by Battle, G-8’s British manservant and by our hero’s girlfriend R-1: an American spy/ nurse whose real name, like G-8’s was never revealed.
46. PATROL OF THE PURPLE CLAN (July 1937) – Not to be confused with the Purple Empire/ Purple Invasion storyline from the Operator 5 Pulp stories of the time. This tale is entirely unrelated. A squadron of purple-clad flying aces are terrorizing the skies over the United States itself, sabotaging American industry and preying on the population! The Purple Clan, as they’re called, are American traitors happily wreaking destruction throughout their homeland for a price – a fortune in gold being paid to them by the Central Powers.
As the American homefront mobilizes to deal with these attacks on its own soil G-8 and his Battle Aces are hurriedly dispatched to the U.S. on the naval cruiser Madison to help protect Washington D.C. from the airborne marauders. It turns out the leader of the Purple Clan is none other than G-8’s old foe Steel Mask, the deadly German who hid his disfigured face behind a mask of cold steel decades before Doctor Doom and Darth Vader did it. ERIC HOLDER RESIGNS
Eric Holder, the J Edgar Hoover of Color
Eric Holder, the Consigliere of the Obama Crime Syndicate, has resigned his office. This crooked figure has long been the subject of multiple investigations for his criminal misconduct and for abusing his position to persecute political enemies. Judges kept ruling AGAINST Holder in his efforts to withhold evidence in those investigations so, apparently seeing the writing on the wall he finally gave in to the constant calls for his resignation. Obama will likely pardon him as he leaves office as presidents have been doing in recent decades for staff members who break the law in their service.
Holder will be remembered as the most corrupt Attorney General in history and as the man who did the most to violate the civil rights of American citizens since the late FBI Director J Edgar Hoover. Despite his misconduct Hoover got a building named after him so at some future date I guess we’ll see the “Eric Holder Sewage Plant” or some such construct. The Democratic and Republican crime gangs afford each other these little courtesies, after all. Continue reading

ANCIENT GREEK COMEDY: COTHURNUS (circa 405 B.C.)

Balladeer’s Blog takes another look at an ancient Greek comedy. This time around I’m examining Cothurnus by Philonides, a comic poet who may also have acted and produced for the Athenian stage as well. It cannot be definitively determined if the “Philonides” referred to in those capacities are all one and the same or separate figures.
THE PLAY
Like most ancient Greek comedies Cothurnus has survived only in fragmentary form and with very few fragments at that. The title refers to a type of footwear of the time period. A cothurnus could be worn on either the left foot or the right foot because of its softness and looseness. Because of this the word “cothurnus” also became a sarcastic term for a politician who tried to position themselves on both sides of an issue, claiming victory no matter which way the political winds blew.
This is certainly another element of Old Comedy that we can still relate to 2,400 years later. Philonides was specifically using this term and this comedy to target Theramenes. To give a comprehensive look at Theramenes’ political juggling act would take too much time, suffice it to say he would flip-flop not just on specific issues but would retroactively claim to have supported whichever side won, would change political affiliations again and again and even set up other public figures to take the fall for his own failures (like arranging for six generals to be blamed and executed for his own part in the Arginusae travesty). THE ROTHERHAM REPORT EXPOSED THE NEW VERSION OF “JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS”

To hell with Godwin’s Law. Yes, it’s a shame Nazi parallels have been so overworked as to become cliches, but there’s no denying the parallel can be drawn in this instance. For anyone unfamiliar with the Rotherham Report just do an on-line search for it and you can pick from countless articles. The report dealt with instances of over 1,400 young non-Muslim women being raped and groomed for further rape by Muslims in part of the U.K. Similar reports have emerged from other areas in the country.
Previously I wrote about the horrific specifics of the atrocities perpetrated on young women by the Muslims in the report. This time I’ll comment on the way the atrocities were enabled by U.K. bureaucrats, many of whom willfully ignored the complaints of the rape victims because the assailants were Muslim. Some of the bureaucrats have tried to excuse their actions (or rather their inaction) by plaintively whining that they “didn’t want to be accused of Islamophobia.”
Incredible state the western world is in. It’s easier to turn a blind eye to multiple rapes of girls as young as 11 than it is to speak out on the issue and be dubbed “Islamophobic”. Some of the testimony from the few brave souls who DID speak out detailed how punishment came swift and sure for anyone who pointed out that it was Muslim men raping non-Muslim women. Again you can search on-line for verification. I stopped providing specific links long ago because of the mindless way Liberals and Conservatives refuse to believe anything that doesn’t come from one of the sites that caters to their own particular pre-conceived notions.
But to be clear, though, this is one horror that is PURELY at the feet of Liberals. Their obsession with patting themselves on the back for siding with anyone they believe represents a force in opposition to the Western Democracies has spawned the current environment. The Political Correctness Police are always on the lookout for anyone who transgresses against their biased vision of “multiculturalism”. That bizarre vision and their devotion to their own egos always forces them to defend the least tolerant and most misogynistic and homophobic religion in the world at this particular point in history.
