Great posts as always. I don’t take any interest in politics but always find your posts engaging. This one brought to mind movies about newspapers that you discussed here. You discusses The Post in one of the news stories. For instance, it reminds me of the film “The Post”. Based on the true story, it captures the formation of the famous newspaper The Post. Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep are fantastic, giving their greatest career performances. I have no interests at all in politics as you know but I loved this political thriller.

But Trump’s policies helped the poor and the working class plus he is an outsider -NOT part of the white-collar criminals called the Democrat and Republican parties.
But Lots of Americans don’t like him.
Lots of Americans dislike any president, including Democrat Obama and Republican Reagan. I judge presidents based on their policies while in office and Trump helped the poor and the working class, he kept us out of any new wars, his tax breaks helped regular people not just the wealthy, like under the horrible George W. Bush. Trump also addressed issues the voters cared about, like the flood of illegal immigration and the outrightly criminal nature of our career politicians. (Trump is not a career politician. He didn’t enter politics until 2015.)
