CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 3rd seeded CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS did battle with the Cinderella 7 seeds – the WARNER UNIVERSITY ROYALS.

The Royals seized a quick 2-0 lead in the 1st Inning but by the end of the 2nd the score was knotted up at 3-3. In the 4th Inning Warner University went on top 4-3 but in the 5th the Tigers tied things up again at 4-4. The 7th Inning saw Campbellsville U tack on 3 more runs while the Royals could muster just 2 more in the 9th as the Tigers won it 7-6. Justin Phillips pitched for the Save. * THE TIGERS ARE NCCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS *

NCAA DIVISION THREE

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – It was an All-Lone Star State contest for the D3 title as the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT TYLER PATRIOTS took on the TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY BULLDOGS.

The Patriots went up 2-0 in the 1st Inning followed by the Bulldogs making it a 2-1 game in the 3rd. That was as close as it got the rest of the way as UT-Tyler slammed in 5 runs in the 4th and 1 more in the 6th for an authoritative 8-1 smackdown. Simon Sedillo was on the Mound for 9 Iron Man Innings for the victors. * THE PATRIOTS ARE DIVISION THREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS *
