Yesterday the final two teams to make it to the semi-finals won the early games to fill the final two slots in the Final Four. The 5th seeded SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY FIRE advanced to the semis by shutting out the 9th seeded OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY EAGLES 4-0. The 6 seeds, the OLIVET NAZARENE UNIVERSITY TIGERS, completed the party list with a 5-2 victory over the 10th seeded COVENANT COLLEGE SCOTS.
In the actual semifinals the Fire upset the 2nd seeded CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TIGERS in a 2-0 game for the ages. The top seeded defending champions, the CAL BAPTIST UNIVERSITY LANCERS, bounced Olivet Nazarene by a score of 3-0. The Lancers defend their title against the Fire in the championship game!
