The ruling class enjoying a moment together far from the chaos they’ve mired the rest of us in.
This week we got another reminder that the Democratic and Republican party office-holders consider themselves “the ruling class” and the rest of us mere peasants. In Congress there was at last some bi-partisan cooperation – BOTH parties now admit what a disaster Obamacare is and introduced legislation TO EXEMPT THEMSELVES AND THEIR STAFF MEMBERS FROM IT!
If Obamacare is so wonderful why do they want exempted from it themselves and why do they feel it will attract quality employees to their staffs to have the PERK of being exempt from it? Sounds like those demagogues hate Obamacare as much as the rest of us do and as much as EVERY doctor that I and everyone I know has spoken to hate it.
Let’s look at other reasons why Liberals and Conservatives are the same kind of people:
Liberals think they are the country’s official “intellectuals” and that they possess “the one true world view”. They feel that this qualifies them to use the apparatus of government to rule every aspect of our lives. Dissenters from this view are so routinely labeled “racists” and/or “uneducated” that such labels have become virtually meaningless.
Conservatives think they are the country’s official “patriots” and that they follow “the one true faith”. They feel that this qualifies them to use the apparatus of government to rule every aspect of our lives. Dissenters from this view are so routinely labeled “sinners” and/or “UnAmerican” that such labels have become virtually meaningless.

There are liberal and there are conservatives….then there are “politicians” (don’t know if we now have to censor that word or not since it now has such a negative connotation). The “politicians” are the ones who think themselves above Obamacare and they are also the ones who now say “no such conversations took place.” Blechh on them all.
Love him or hate him, Mitch McConnell said the one true thing (paraphrased). “Everyone should be exempt from Obamacare.”
Ha! You’re certainly right about what a negative connotation the word politician has. I’ll go along with exempting everyone from Obamacare. Doctors don’t like it, polls show most Americans still don’t want it and even HMO’s don’t like it.
And when even HMO’s don’t like it, you know something is very, very wrong.

Wow! Finally someone is pointing this out. Liberals suck every bit as much as conservatives do.
I agree, but liberals are such pretentious asses they don’t realize the rest of us despise them as much as we despise conservatives. American liberals are the worst of all.
All liberals and conservatives want to do is keep everyone fighting and tell the rest of us how to live our lives.
