Basketball season is over in the divisions covered by Balladeer’s Blog, so it’s on to baseball! Seamheads have been emailing me about how anxious they are to start my coverage since the season’s over a month old for collegiate play.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES THURSDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 8TH

Tonight there are not as many games in the divisions Balladeer’s Blog covers as there were last Thursday, but there’s still quite a sampling. The NAIA has the night off and D3 has just one game going, but the NJCAA and D2 pick up the slack, especially the former. Two of D2’s games are being televised nationwide however, so we’ll start with those:

CENTRAL WASHINGTON WILDCATS  at the HUMBOLDT STATE LUMBERJACKS  – Airing on the cable channel called CBS College Sports at 8PM ET

NEWBERRY WOLVES  at the VALDOSTA STATE BLAZERS  – Airing on Cox SportsNet  at 7PM ET

D3’s sole game tonight features the MARYVILLE FIGHTING SCOTS at the Continue reading
