FIRST SEMIFINAL – The 2nd ranked LANCASTER BIBLE COLLEGE CHARGERS took the court against the 3 seeds – the CAROLINA UNIVERSITY BRUINS.
The Bruins were threatening an Upset and led the game 35-26 by Halftime. After the break the Chargers outscored Carolina University 42-31 for a thrilling 68-66 comeback win. Jordan Shewbridge put up 21 points to lead LBC in scoring. Continue reading

NAIA ROUND TWO
BATTLE OF COOL-NAMED TEAMS – The ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY FIRESTORM clashed with the BETHEL (KS) COLLEGE THRESHERS in this game.
The Threshers had the Firestorm faithful worried at Halftime with their 40-37 edge. After the break the Firestorm dominated on both sides of the ball, outscoring Bethel College 45-26 to win by a final tally of 82-66. Dennis Flowers III led ACU with 16 points, while his teammate Robby Wilson logged a Double-Double of 11 points and 13 rebounds. Continue reading

USCAA DIVISION TWO
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The 5 seeds – the SOUTHERN MAINE COLLEGE SEAWOLVES – and the 7th seeded JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY AT CHARLOTTE WILDCATS played for the title in Division Two of the USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association).
The Seawolves were on top 36-28 at Halftime, but then had to hold on tight against a furious Wildcats rally after the break. In the end Southern Maine College won out in this 79-75 thriller. Zachary Mickle led the Seawolves with 20 points while two of his teammates notched Double-Doubles – Ian Regan with 15 points & 10 rebounds, and Anderson Kavutse with 12 points & 10 rebounds. * THE SEAWOLVES ARE CHAMPIONS OF USCAA DIVISION TWO * Continue reading

NCCAA DIVISION TWO
FINAL FOUR: FIRST BERTH – The 4 seeds – the CROWN COLLEGE PURPLE STORM – went up against the 5th seeded ARLINGTON BAPTIST UNIVERSITY PATRIOTS.
At Halftime the Purple Storm were out in front by a score of 38-31. From there Crown College got more and more distance from ABU, ultimately winning the game 82-63. Cade Carroll led the Purple Storm in scoring with his 23 points.
FINAL FOUR: SECOND BERTH – Up next the top seeded GREAT LAKES CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CRUSADERS played the 8 seeds – the EMMAUS BIBLE COLLEGE EAGLES.
The Crusaders dominated this game from start to finish. By the midpoint Great Lakes Christian College held a 42-27 advantage before going on to beat the Eagles by a blowout score of NINETY to SIXTY-THREE. Thirteen points from Whitney Harris of the Crusaders led this team effort. Continue reading

(The 1 seed has a Bye in this round.) ### Meanwhile the (3) GREAT LAKES CHRISTIAN COLLEGE CRUSADERS edged the (6) WELCH COLLEGE FLAMES in a 72-71 Instant Classic ### And the (4) SIMMONS COLLEGE OF KENTUCKY FALCONS defeated the (5) CU-HARRODSBURG TIGERS 69-65.
NORTH REGION – The 5th seeded MARANATHA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY SABERCATS toppled the 4 seeds – Canada’s PROVIDENCE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE PILOTS by a score of 94-82 ### The (6) TRINITY BIBLE COLLEGE LIONS kept the Upsets coming with a 108-103 Overtime win over the (3) CENTRAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE OF THE BIBLE SAINTS ### And the (2) CALVARY UNIVERSITY WARRIORS crushed the (7) OAK HILLS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE WOLFPACK 87-49. CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The top seeded CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS faced the 2 seeds – the ROBERTS WESLEYAN COLLEGE REDHAWKS – for the title in the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association). The opening Half was a defensive epic which ended with the teams tied up at 26-26. After the break the Yellow Jackets mustered a bit of separation from the Redhawks for a 64-58 victory. Conner TenHove’s 14 points led Cedarville U. * THE YELLOW JACKETS ARE NCCAA CHAMPIONS *
NJCAA DIVISION THREE
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – The last two teams standing in this Tournament were the 2 seeds – the HERKIMER COLLEGE GENERALS – and the 5th seeded ROCK VALLEY COLLEGE GOLDEN EAGLES. An Upset seemed to be in the offing as the Golden Eagles led 37-31 at Halftime. From there the Generals came from behind to win the game by a comfortable 72-60. NCAA DIVISION THREE
FIRST SEMIFINAL – The SWARTHMORE COLLEGE GARNET clashed with the CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY CAPTAINS as D3’s Final Four action commenced. The Garnet led the Captains by a Lucky 7 points, 36-29, come Halftime and then maintained that advantage for a 70-63 triumph. Cam Wiley put up 23 points to lead Swarthmore College.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – This game pitted the UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AT OSHKOSH TITANS against the WHEATON (IL) COLLEGE THUNDER. By the midpoint the Titans were on top of the Thunder by a score of 46-41. From there UW-Oshkosh went on to win it by a Centennial Club-level 104-85. The victors were led by Jack Flynn’s Double Double of 21 points and 15 rebounds.
NJCAA DIVISION THREE
FIRST SEMIFINAL – In the 2 spot the HERKIMER COLLEGE GENERALS tangled with the 3rd seeded RICHLAND COLLEGE THUNDERDUCKS. Smothering defense was the key to the opening Half, which ended with the Generals up 27-21. After the break the Thunderducks could only edge an inch closer as Herkimer College emerged with a 63-59 triumph. Derrick Felder led the Generals with 17 points. Continue reading

NCCAA DIVISION ONE
FIRST SEMIFINAL – The 2 seeds – the ROBERTS WESLEYAN COLLEGE REDHAWKS – took the court against the 3rd seeded HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE UNIVERSITY TROJANS. The Redhawks found themselves chasing the Trojans at Halftime as they faced a 35-22 deficit. After the break Roberts Wesleyan College mounted a massive comeback, winning the game 63-61 led by 19 points from Peyton McLaurin.
SECOND SEMIFINAL – Up next the top seeded CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY YELLOW JACKETS clashed with the 4 seeds – the BLUEFIELD COLLEGE RAMBLING RAMS. The Yellow Jackets put up 36 points in each Half, leading the Rambling Rams 36-27 at the midpoint before winning it by a final tally of 72-59. Conner TenHove tossed in 20 points to lead Cedarville U.
NJCAA DIVISION THREE
FINAL FOUR: FIRST BERTH – The 2 seeds – the HERKIMER COLLEGE GENERALS – squared off against the 7th seeded SANDHILLS COLLEGE FLYERS yesterday. The Generals were clobbering the Flyers to the tune of 40-22 at the break, then kept them at arm’s length in the 2nd Half for a 76-64 victory.
