The WASHINGTON ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY SHOCK toppled the ROCHESTER COLLEGE WARRIORS in a 61-60 Instant Classic! ### The 5th seeded CENTRAL CHRISTIAN COLLEGE TIGERS added an upset of their own, bringing down the 4 seeds – the COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS BOBCATS 71-70. ### The surprises kept coming as the top seeded MOUNT MERCY UNIVERSITY MUSTANGS needed Overtime to dispense with the 8th seeded JOHNSON & WALES (CO) WILDCATS. 94-90 was the final score. ### And the (3) YORK (NE) PANTHERS downed the (6) NORTHERN NEW MEXICO EAGLES 80-67. CHICAGOLAND COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE – The 3rd seeded SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY COUGARS led the 6 seeds – the TRINITY INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY TROJANS – by a score of 49-34 at Halftime. After the break the Cougars poured it on for an 88-67 win led by Larry Motuzis with THIRTY-NINE points. ### And the top seeds – the UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS (IL) FIGHTING SAINTS took on the 8th seeded SAINT AMBROSE UNIVERSITY FIGHTING BEES. NUMBER TWO TAKES A FALL – The 25th ranked NORTH CENTRAL (IL) CARDINALS provided a shocker yesterday as they hosted the number 2 team in the nation – the ELMHURST COLLEGE BLUE JAYS. The Cardinals parlayed a 36-25 Halftime lead into an 80-62 upset victory. Jagger Anderson led North Central with 20 points.

The NAIA’s XAVIER (LA) UNIVERSITY GOLD RUSH have played and defeated FOUR basketball teams from NCAA Division Two so far this season.
