Regarding the death of Khamenei, the question now stands at whether the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will remain as an instrument of repression or will stand with the people of Iran. If they see themselves as the babysitters of the people or fear what those people might do once free again, there may never be a free Iran (since a disarmed people have little option).
