Regarding your links to the ICE arrests here in Houston — oddly, the local press will willingly report on the backlog of 2,200 unsolved rape cases built up over years (but they don’t touch this arrest of 1,500 offenders within a short time). It almost seems like a coincidence that they might be avoiding something that would be a credit to President Trump.
Speaking of coincidences, I noticed three and made them the centerpiece of my post today.
Note this regarding my comment: in their early-morning news reports and the evening reports, they focus on the stories about this backlog (the morning reports I put on to catch the traffic and weather – my wife puts on the evening reports). They may place online/print stories that cover the Brietbart story (all in the same way the New York Times publishes stories under the want ads and online),

Senate Democrats endangered the lives of the American people with their ridiculous and unwarranted shutdown. The nonpartisan CRE was a separate issue from Obamacare, but they just had to make their power play, which thankfully failed.
