If we consider that CBS poll that you cite at the top of your post, then we will know that Democrats have followed Biden’s lead and have started “calling a lid” to the day well before the end of the speech. They are asleep before the pollsters call.

Even though Representative Joe Wilson (the Republican who rightly, but in an inappropriate manner, called out Obama’s lie) got censured, didn’t the Democrats call for his removal from Congress? Has any Democrat called for the removal of Al Green from Congress?
Plus, Wilson at least said “You lie, sir” which is still out of line but at least civil. I don’t recall if Democrats called for his removal from Congress, but you can bet none of them will call for Al Green to suffer any consequences.

Poll of *people who watched the speech* is an important asterisk. I watched some. I’m neutral policy wise (the Trump adminstration is moving faster than I can keep up with) but optimistic about the energy. Refreshing to have POTUS visible and addressing congress. Initiative!✅
