Great posts as always. I’m still kind of shocked by the news that Joe Biden is involved in a crime family. This piece of information has drastically changed my perception of the politician. It brings to mind great movies about politicians that are disgraced which I have seen. As an example, “Goodfellas” is an incredible film in this genre. Martin Scorsese’s mob masterpiece traces the life of an Italian crime family over several years. One of the best movies ever made on the subject of a crime family.

Thanks. The Goodfellas comparison is accurate on a lot of levels. I would imagine people like the Bidens mock law-abiding people like the scene in Goodfellas when Henry and his fellow criminals laugh at regular people by sayiing “Those guys were already dead!”
