Independent Voter site Balladeer’s Blog will take a look at the 2022 midterms when we at last know the final results. The Party’s official lie is that this is normal, and we are all supposed to ignore all those other elections we witnessed in our lifetimes in which results were tallied and announced the next day.
The Party has ordered people to believe that the long, bitter, drawn-out and increasingly questionable results that became VERY frequent beginning in 2018 have really been the norm all along.
At any rate, my extensive look at the midterm results WILL be coming. In the future maybe I should plan to examine election results as part of my Christmas season blog posts. After all, if results start to take that long to tally, The Party will no doubt assure us that that is perfectly normal and is the way things have always been. Just like that war with Eastasia.

Yep, and The Party’s pretense that this is “normal” is the latest “2 + 2 = 5” moment.
Geez. People must think that we are stupid. It’s not as if this was 1802 or something and votes have not been counted and announced hundreds of times before!
I agree. The blatant, bare-faced lies are almost beyond belief.
😦 I really can’t see what they think they can hope to gain by all this. Every passing hour now just adds grist to the conspiracy theorists’ mill and it seems they are deliberately stoking that! Crazy.
I know what you mean. It reminds me of Orwell’s remarks about how the transparency of the lies the people are ordered to go along with end up eroding morale and resistance.

To me, the results aren’t the question – it’s how they behave after being elected that matters.
To me too – that’s why I’ve given up hope on the Democrats and Republicans and wish they would splinter into multiple smaller parties for a while.
My FAVORITE thing was a few years ago the Republicans were able to get security cameras installed in certain counting locations, then Friday/Saturday the cameras “go out”! It just never ends! When one side is that determined to cheat, I just don’t see how you stop it. That’s not true, they even mentioned Iowa its nearly impossible to steal an election as we have voter ID and limited cheat by mail balloting.
Yep, but no matter how obvious the lies and the convenient “outages” to cameras they still just keep lying again and again.
I turned off all my news feeds so the only way I’ll get political news in the future is through you! That’s how bad it’s gotten.
